A very nice tour. I would recommend finding someplace different to eat lunch that the restaurant the bus company suggests. It's not the best food and the dessert was the worst I've tried.

The tours of the two castles were very nice, although only 30 min or so each. Overall, the tour was very nice!

Please identify all of the costs for the tour. Do not hide the entrance fees until after the booking has been made. The extra 40 E per couple is a significant surprise. Marcos is a terrific tour guide. Give him a raise!!

At Linderhof the party was divided and we could hear and see most things but at Neuschwanstein it was one big group and we missed out on a lot of the comentary.

Despite of the fact that both castles are not far from each other, it is very hard to reach both in one day using public transport.
As we had now a car in Germany the bus excursion was a wright decision. There was enough time to view all that can be needed.
Additionally the guide in our bus was very friendly and professional woman. So we hadn't any trouble during excursion.
It was our first time to order excursion in advance via Internet from other country but from this side all also was more than suitable.

The castles are fantastic, they are a must do, it is great to do the tour because you see both castles, when most people only hear about Neuschwanstein. Inside and outside are both fabulous. Its good to do the tour if you cant be bothered with public transport, but to be honest it is a lot cheaper to go yourself (thugh you will wait in line a lot to get your tickets). Also didnt find the tour information given by the tour guide all that interesting, I think it was the deliverance really, spoke like she was speaking to children.. very slowly.

A nice day out to the mountains. The first castle may be very small but along with the gardens was lovely. Wish we had another 30 mins there. The 45 mins alotted for Castle tour and taking a few snaps was too short. It took 10 mins to walk to the castle. The next stop was a small village. Nothing special. A few places for a drink and food and shops. Would have rather stayed at the first castle instead of this. Then we moved on to the main event. A place to eat and see the famous castle in the hill. Sadly on my trip it was being renovated as it had scaffolding on half of it. And was cloudy so not the nicest view. Still lovely place. Castle interior is not that much to see really as it was never finished but it was still impressive. A long day but again worth it if you want to sample the countryside outside Munich. Good tour guide who told us a lot about what we were seeing. Bit annoyed that I nearly did not get on the coach as they were selling seats on the day even though I had my ticket for weeks before. My seat should have been reserved. Get there early to ensure you get a seat.

FANTASTIC TRIP!!
Our tour guide JOSEF was really an expert in history and told us really interesting facts and curiosities about the castles and important aspects of the city and places we visited.
The only thing to improve would be a little more time to in the places we stopped.

The tour leader was very efficient.

The stop at Oberammergau is a lost of time.

It is not your fault, but the visit of Neuschwanstein at a run is a pity as it is impossible to admire quietly such beautiful rooms.

Really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very informative and the driver got us there and back in a very comfortable bus in one peice. We have been advised that Linderhof is best to be visited during summer month, simply because you get to see the fountains( which are boarded up during the winter) and 50,000 flowers. neuschwanstein is beautifull but due to fog we could not see it very well from outside. Still its beautifull setting, you have an option of going in a horsedrawn carriage to the castle but we chose to walk and its up the hill so not good for people with sore legs, back etc condition. Once you reach the castle, the Q is very organized and it you know exactly what time to be there, you have more stair to climb all the way to the 4th floor. Must mention the little village in between Neuschwanstein & Linderhof, you dont get to spend too much time there , but its beautifull and they have a couple of shops open just for tour buses trade so you can buy souveniers etc. Food: you get lunch at The Neuschwanstein and we all went to the restaurant at the bottom of the hill, it was busy but food served quickly, you can also get food in the Inn half way to the castle

Terrific tour. I actually enjoyed the tour of Linderhof almost as much as seeing the great Neuschwanstein - Linderhof is a beautiful treasure in a more intimate setting. But of course, Nueschwanstein was fantastic!

This is a fabulous trip our guide Betiina was lovely and very informative. The castles are fabulous and the Bavarian countryside is wonderful. It's a hard walk up a very long & steep hill so wouldn't recommend this for the infirm or elderly. The people of Munich are very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I liked the tours and the guides were great. The downside was that we felt we were rushed to get back to the bus and would have liked to have more time at each stop. I realize to get to so many stops you can't take the time at each stop. Maybe leave earlier in the day or cut down on the number of stops to give more time.
