Lace up your hiking shoes and prepare to see all the best sites in the 5 villages of Cinque Terre. Head out on a day trip from Florence to this UNESCO World Heritage site with an expert guide to experience the beauty of the Italian Riviera.

Leave Florence by tour coach on your way to the first stop, Manarola, one of the oldest villages in Cinque Terre. It is known for a local wine, called Sciacchetra, and for having some of the most bright and colorful houses. Enter the National Park and follow your guide through the scenic trail that leads to Corniglia village.

Corniglia is the only one of the 5 villages not located by the coast, instead, it sits on top of a hill about 100 meters high. Here youi can relax and take a look out onto the ocean from the highest viewing point of Cinque Terre.

The tour continues to the fishing village of Vernazza, regarded as one of the most beautiful in Cinque Terre. You can explore on your own as you visit one of the local cafes or bars to have a meal or some local Vernazza wine at your expense. You can also take a refreshing dip at the beach before heading to Monterosso al Mare.

Hop on a train and enjoy the view on a short ride to the village of Monterosso al Mare. Here you can check out the various artisan shops for a souvenir or try some local dishes and wine. Take some time to head to Monterosso beach for a swim or just to admire the crystal clear waters of the most visited beach of the 5 villages.

After Monterosso, take a shared boat ride to the last village, Riomaggiore. Admire the view of the Ligurian coast and snap some pictures of the colorful houses along the shore. Once in Riomaggiore, head to the famous Via dell'Amore, (Lover's Lane), a walkway that hangs above the sea, and make your way back to Manarola for you return trip to Florence from this Cinque Terre hike.
