The throngs of people enjoying these venues makes it a challenge to focus on what you are actually seeing. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and did his best to take opportunities where we had relative quiet and space to prepare us for what we were about to see.

The uses of microphone and earbuds were indispensable in keeping us informed and together as a group.

All the important and iconic points of interest were seen and appreciated, in spite of the crush of people. Be prepared for the crowds, and do your best to focus on what you are witnessing. It is a very beautiful and amazing place!

Lovely place just don't go on a Monday as it's closed on Sundays and everybody goes on a Monday very crowed other than that it's a good tour

Notre guide, Joy, était très sympathique et son discours très enrichissant. Nous n'aurions pas découvert les subtilités de ces chefs d'œuvres sans elle.
Visite très agréable.

If you want to see the highlights of Vatican in a reasonable amount of time, I warmly recommend taking this tour. And special thanks to our super nice and professional guide Lindy who spoke excellent English even though she was Dutch.

beating the queues essential as there are over 25, 000 visitors a day. The initial point of getting into the Palace is horrendous, but once inside it is really worthwhile;e. The Chapel is the highlight, but it is packed, but at least one is looking up most of the time. Guide was very informative.

Thank you for your tour as it helped in getting into the Vatican. Way too many people in the Vatican to really enjoy the complete tour, but I am glad that I went & glad that I went with City Discovery.

Our tour guide could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about Art history. We enjoyed the tour immensely.

We had no time to wait around to get in, thus the skip line was great. The tour was very interesting and informative. Liked that the guide ended tour inside St Peter's Basilica, allowing us more time to explore inside of Basilica.

We were late by about 10 mins as we went to the wrong location. There was bout 10 people in the group.The lady guide was extremely helpful. She was able to conduct the tour very well. I would recommend this to all.

Guide was very interesting, she knew so much about the Vatican, very impressive. Perhaps French was not her first language so we missed a lot of it as only one headset. Very crowded but worth it.

This was good... we got to see everything..

Apart from the escalators at the beginning of the tour there are numerous sets of steps up and throughout making it difficult for phyically impaired and elderly tourists.

However, the Papal Blessing tour consisted of a 3 hour walk through Rome and when you arrive at St Peter's square you are dumped and have to make your own arrangements along with 1000's of others.

Very helpful and responsive customer service. I was traveling and couldn't print the booking reference, and then they helped me by informing the local agency that I can just show it via my iPhone within 24 hours, small thing but let go a lot of stress.

The trip itself was wonderful. Alex was a very friendly and knowledgable guide, after a 3 hours tour we could choose to stay in the Vatican Museum for further discovering.

Vatican Museum is big and wonderful, but visit it with a guide is the best option! Our guide was very nice.

The line-ups to enter the Vatican Museums are very long; it was definitely worth while having skip the line tickets! The local guide was excellent, and the tour was very worthwhile. We had no problems finding our tour group, and appreciated City Discovery's detailed instructions for finding this location.

The only way to see the Vatican! Skipping the line is well worth it, and there is no way you could see everything or know what you're looking at without a guide. Ours was very knowledgable and funny also!

When I saw the lines outside the Vatican Museum I was so pleased I'd booked this tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. She allowed us 'freetime' to view the artwork inside the Sistine Chapel. The huge crowds (beg August) meant that we had to keep walking so time to admire the individual treasures was limited. This was one of two tours I took with Dark Rome and I'd certainly use them again.

Very good tour and David our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Microphone and earphones kept cutting out but a small problem. David made the tour interesting and enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend.

Guide (David) was excellent. Audio system (new, apparently), malfunctioned occasionally but eventually came right. David handled difficult situation well, including wayward members of his flock !

This was a great tour! Our guide was great and we got to see all the highlights of the Vatican. Of course, it is impossible to see absolutely everything, but we did see everything that was described on the website. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed the tour and our guide was great! The only problem is the crowds were awful and we were so rushed. We were also so busy trying to stay with our group in the crowds of people that it was very distracting from the beauty of the Vatican. We were not given any opportunity to do any shopping in the Vatican and if you stayed with the group to see everything you were not allowed back into the Vatican. Very dissappointed in that!

The guide was lovely and had the knowledge to explain every detail and question that the group presented.
The place is gorgeous and we liked very much.

our tour guide has a wonderful knowledge of her subject and made the talk most intresting. only dissappointment was we could not see Raphasl's rooms, closed for cleaning.

We very much enjoyed this tour, although, because of so many people been allowed into the Sistine Chapel at the one time, we saw and learned very little about this part of the tour.
