Amazing guide & first night in Rome!
Reviewed by: Nashvillan, 2018/11/27My boyfriend and I attended this tour shortly after arriving in Rome after 15 hours of traveling. Our guide was absolutely amazing. She made sure to show us as much as possible in the time she had. She even went out of her way to take us to extra stops along the way all while staying on our main tour stops. She gave insight on local restaurants, hangouts, shopping, and favorite wines! She was interactive with our group and made sure everyone was included which helped everyone to have a great time.

Feel as a Local and visit the main roman monuments

Walking around in the late afternoon and evening is the best way to visit Rome, the activity offer a very small and intimate group experience, max 15 people, with the right pace and time to soak up all informations. Susanna our guide, unveiled typical italian habits, like drinking from public small fountains in Navona Square, called as well Nasone. We tasted a real Gelato, it is something that Romans do in their free time, or for luch or any time they want to have an ice cream! we experienced each of the main monuments like the Trevi Fountain and we could make our wish and tossed the coin in the fountain. The most beautiful buiding for me was the Pantheon, amazing and imposing temple that became a catholic church, with no window but natural light coming from the hole or oculus from the dome's ceiling. When it rains the water comes down from the open roof and it is drained from a system below the floor.
