  • Palazzo Loredan
    Begin your tour at Palazzo Loredan, once the house of the seven Doges of Mocenigo Family. Today, it is the Institute of Science, Literature and Arts, where you will get to admire the details of its interior architecture and its bust collection, including the most significant characters of Venice!
  • Marco Polo’s House
    Walk through a hidden “calli", a Venetian narrow alley, en route to Corte Seconda del Milion, the house where Marco Polo lived. During its restoration, archaeologists found many important objects that belonged to the Polo family, including a rare purple glass produced in Murano in the 1300's.
  • Rialto Market
    After a short walk, stop by the Rialto Market where the area named “Erbaria” was specifically dedicated to the spices imported from Asia (and from the rest of the world) by Marco Polo and other Venetian traders. In here, discover how the prices of spices and fish were calculated in the past.
  • Water Taxi Ride to Murano Island
    Burano Island Aboard a private water taxi, travel through the Grand Canal and smaller canals to reach Murano Island. Upon your arrival, visit a glass factory where an expert glass master, utilizing the same ancient technique used in the past, will create a copy of the purple glass of Marco Polo in front of you.
