Cecilia was our guide and she was great. She gave us the opportunity to experience a different side to Venice. These type of introductions to a city give one a far better appreciation of the place than just visiting the key tourist attractions.

Cecilia was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Some more information about Venice's history and culture would have been appreciated.

Couldn't have been better. Cecilia was as passionate about her city as she was in ensuring the the best tour for all of us. We enjoyed great food and wine, and our two 15 year old boys saw a wonderful city from a perspective closer to how the locals see their own city.

Do not miss this adventure! I'd highly recommend taking it the first night you're in Venice so you can enjoy on subsequent nights some of the cichetti bars you're introduced to on the tour. The food was fresh, interesting flavors, delicious! We sampled a number of different, unique wines and prosecco (including a surprisingly wonderful fizzy RED wine!). Our guide, Cecelia, was lively and informative. We had so much fun on this trip! I'd do it again.

Exceeded my expectations. It was such fun and a must do when visiting Venice. Venice is so much more than the Grand Canal which incidentally is awesome. Cecilia introduced us to things that as a general tourist you wouldn't encounter. Well done Cecilia. I haven't stopped talking about my Urban Adventure in Venice!

Excellent tour guide. I would recommend that anyone coming to Venice should do this tour on their first day in the city. We got an incite into the local food and wine and a number of places to eat away from the crowds.

I am so glad that we booked the Venice Urban Adventures tour on our first visit to the city. Cecilia is an absolutely amazing tour guide, we could not recommend her enough. During the tour Cecilia introduced us to a selection of delicious wines and cicchetti in locations we would never have discovered if we had not done the tour. The places which Cecilia focused on were within a stone's throw of major tourist destinations (i.e. Strada Nuovo and Rialto bridge) but once you entered these places you were made to feel like you were in an undisconvered gem in the middle of the Italian countryside. Cecilia's passion for Venice, its reputation, its food and drink and its well-being really comes through and she single-handedly changed my opinion of the city; after the tour I decided that I would like to come back to the city and explore the city in more depth whilst staying in one of the quieter neighbourhoods of the city. The tour itself lasted around 3 hours, only about 15 mins of the tour was spent walkiing whilst the rest was spent inside gorgeous osterias, restaurants or ciccheti places. Cecilia's exuberance, knowledge and charm made the 3 hours whizz by and after the copious amounts of delicious wine and food we came away from the tour feeling like we owed her much more than what we had paid for the tour and given her in tips. To top this off Cecilia found out on the day that we were visiting Venice to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday and she was evidently watching my mother's reactions to all the wines she tried. Just before the tour ended Cecilia presented my mother with a bottle of the wine that she had enjoyed the most during the tour which Cecelia had paid for out of her own pocket. My mother and all of us were so touched by this gesture. If you only have time to fit one thing into your inventory in Venice I implore you to do this. I think those people that gave this 4* may be a bit crazy; i would give this a 6th star if I could.

I booked the cicchetti tour ba<x>sed on reviews and was not disappointed. I decided to do this my first night in Venice as an intro to the other Venice and to learn about this casual st<x>yle of eating and enjoying the tastes of Venice. Cecilia is an exceptional guide who knows how to get you into the spirit of Venice and feel part of a night out on the town, even though I was by myself. Her explanations were informative, especially about the types of wines and cicchetti bars and her tips about areas to go for a slice of Venetian life were every helpful. Her enthusiasm was contagious and we were all enjoying the our cicchetti and ombra and hated to say Buona Notte. I highly recommend this to get acquainted with Venice and I especially recommend it to single travelers as a way to enjoy a great night out and meeting other like travelers.

I had a ball, and run out of superlatives with which to describe the services of our leader, Glenda. She was fantastic: informed and informative, great fun and attended to all our needs no matter how trivial.

I would thoroughly recommend the Cicchetti of Venice tour- it showed us a different side of Venice, whilst giving us an insight into local habits. Our guide, Cecilia, was bubbly and personable and the prosecco was the best i've ever had!

If only I had done this tour at the start of my stay in Venice! Exceeded expectations, so much so that it really contributed to Venice being my favourite stop in Italy.

My daughter and I took the Ciccetti of Venice Tour at the start of our four day stay and we were so pleased we did! Our guide, Cecilia, took us, off the beaten track, to five bars where we enjoyed delicious snacks and locally made wines. Cecelia was really informative about real life in Venice and gave us excellent information about good places to visit in Venice. We would recommend this tour very highly.

Only excellent adresses. Try to do it as soon as you arrive in Venice ,so you Will be able to go back on your own.

Our favorite tour in Italy. Cecilia is a fantastic guide and really gave us a feel for what life, at least the eating portion, is like for a Venetian. Loved the opportunity to get outside the typical tourist zone and find great wine and local flavor.

Our tour was just amazing we had so much fun, we learned so much culture of Venice. I would recommend Urban Adventures to friends. We did recommend the tour to a couple we met in Rome who were heading to Venice. I told them it was not to be missed.

Our trip in Venice was great, not only was the city incredible but our guide was the best. Cecilia showed us parts of the city most travelers would not see and introduced us to some great food and wine available in Venice. This was our first Urban Adventure but we will use this company again during our next vacation.
