Northern lights and a shooting star!
Reviewed by: aya, 2015/03/23It was really exciting and still comfortable experience! I attended this tour on my own but bus picked me up from my Hotel and we then drove to a Lavvo base camp, which was about 1.5 hours journey. There was an informative video explanation during the drive, so that you can get to know about this natural phenomenon better. The base camp was pretty big and there the Sami people served us with coffee and local cake, made with brown cheese and cinnamon! The camp was really nice and cozy.
After a while our guide took us to the outside as the sky became clear. And then when with a little bit of luck we even saw a shooting star alongside of northern lights. That was really great! But only one thing: You need have your own camera in this tour! I didn’t have any capable one, so I had to ask some people from the tour to send me the pictures of northern lights later.
