Depart from Barcelona

Arrive in Tarragona and admire the ancient ruins dating back to the early days of Catalonia. Find various religious buildings as you stroll around the old quarter and travel back in time as you set foot in the magnificent Roman aqueduct.

Stroll through the historic old quarter and reach the cathedral where you can check the antique market for souvenirs. See the Roman Forum and walk along the underground passageways before arriving at Placa de la Font. Finally, get an amazing view of the sea over the Roman amphitheater!

Visit Roc de Sant Gaieta, a quaint Mediterranean village with its hodgepodge of Ibizan fishermen’s houses, Seville-style patios, and Roman-Greco structures.

Once a quiet fishing village, Sitges now boasts long, sandy beaches, chic boutiques, and other notable sights. Because of its posh mansions, hotels, and nightclubs, Sitges has often been referred to as the Saint-Tropez of Spain.

Make the most out of your time in the city and explore at your own leisure. Enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants, visit museums or just go for a leisurely stroll across the beach.

moreWhen I paid so much money I thought the guide would be with us all day and not leave us to do our own thing I could have done this trip much cheaper using local transport
