  • Boqueria Market and Placa Real (Plaza Real)
    Plaza Real Since the 12th century, the Boqueria Market has been selling fresh produce later followed by vibrant flower stands. After browsing through the market, head to the Placa Real. inspired by French neoclassical architecture. See the Fountain of the Three Graces with two lampposts designed by Gaudi.
  • Placa del Pi (Plaza del Pino) and Carrer Petritxol

    • The Barcelona Cathedral collects a donation entry fee between 13:00 to 17:30 on weekdays, 13:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays and 14:00 to 17:00 on Sundays and holidays. The church may be unavailable in times of celebration. Tickets may be purchased on the spot.
    • The Boqueria Market and many shops in the Gothic Quarter are closed on Sundays.
    • Visiting the Cathedral between 8:00 and 12:00 and 17:00 and 19:00 on a working day is recommended (if no celebration prevents it).
