By tube: The London Eye is located within walking distance from the following London Underground stations: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster.

By rail: The closest rail stations to the London Eye are Waterloo and Charing Cross.

By bus: Buses to the London Eye include the 211, 77 and 381. The London Eye is on most London sightseeing bus tours and on the RV1 route that connects the London Eye to the Tate Modern and Covent Garden.

By car: There are three car parks within walking distance located around the South Bank area. Please note that the London Eye is within the Congestion Charge Zone.

By boat: There are a number of services which stop off at the London Eye Pier, meaning you can travel here from the O2 or the Millbank, Bankside, Embankment, Blackfriars, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Hilton Docklands, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich, Royal Arsenal Wollwich, St. Katherine's or Westminster Piers.

  • Please note that special effects such as fog, bubbles, wind, snow, strobe lighting and vibrating flooring are used in the London Eye 4D Cinema Experience. The experience is not recommended for any guests with a pre-existing condition that could be exacerbated by exposure to these effects.
  • Guests 15 years old and under must be accompanied by a guardian 18 years old and older.

  • Children below 3 years old are free of charge but will require a ticket.
