Oceanfront Trail Horseback Riding Tour at Maui Mountain Activities Ranch
Great ride!
Reviewed by: Casey, 2020/02/29I’ve ridden horses since I was young and even used to work at a local trail riding center. This was the best ride I have ever been on, especially for a tourist ride. The guides were awesome and very helpful. They were able to help the beginner riders but also made it a fun ride for those who were more advanced. We trotted a lot, the scenery was amazing, and the picture opportunities were beautiful. We also got to try fresh passion fruit. At the end we got to “run” our horses if we wanted to. I expected a leisurely canter, but it was a full on gallop one at a time. I got to let my horse go as fast as he wanted and it was incredible! Highly highly recommend this tour!

Reviewed by: Alexandria, 2019/11/07Horseback riding the West Maui Mountains made my trip! Absolutely, hands down, one of the best horseback riding tours I have ever been on. The guides take you to places you would never be able to walk or drive to otherwise. They do a great job matching you with a horse based on your skill level. The ride was rather long - 2 hours - 2.5 hours. It's definitely worth the money! It's very rare to be able to ride that long, canter, and gallop on a public horseback riding trail ride. The views are astonishing. We flew to Maui from Oahu specifically to horseback ride for my 33rd birthday. I am an experienced rider, who has owned a Thoroughbred mare, and competed Equestrian riding for over a decade. This excursion made my entire trip. Hands down the most amazing experience I have ever had on any excursion at any destination!

The horses are well behaved and so sweet and easy to handle (I have zero horsemanship or knowledge of horses)! Bring plenty of sunscreen, a hat to shield your face and be prepared to get dusty or dirty!

Throughout the cruise they were attentive and entertaining, treating everyone on board like long time friends. I was having such a good time on the cruise that I had forgotten dinner was included until they announced the buffet was ready! Great food and drinks with the best crew in Maui! Couldn't ask for more!

Great snorkel cruise from Kaanapali beach.

Food provided accommodated family members with allergies to gluten, peanuts and tree nuts. Was our second trip with Trilogy and look forward to our next excursion with Trilogy on a future Maui vacation. Would highly recommend considering Trilogy for your snorkel cruise.

Blue Hawiian is great
Reviewed by: Steve, 2019/07/21Our pilot Ken Jones was great. He made us all feel very safe and he was very knowledgeable about the entire island. The pre-flight was very thorough and covered all of our concerns before we boarded the helicopter. We were very lucky with the weather and we saw canyons and peaks that are often inaccessible due to low cloud cover. Highly recommend this company.

大満足でした

【体験内容】
スポット2箇所でたっぷりの時間で魚や亀を見ることができました。
行きの船ではイルカの群れに出会い、スピンも見れました。
スポット各々で、たくさんの魚を見れ、亀も6匹、タコも見ることができました。
一方、7月頭の参加でしたが、少し水が冷たい箇所もありました。数日後に台風が迫っていたことが理由かもしれません。
帰りはセーリングで帰りながらボリューミーな鶏肉のバーベキューを食べるのも良い体験でした。
【その他】
日本人は我々夫婦のみでしたが、スタッフは皆海の男&女で爽やかに明るい方々で、気さくに接ししていただきました。
我々の他はご家族やカップルが中心でした。
説明など英語はかなりスピーディに話されるので、得意でないわたしには正直聞き取るのは無理でしたが、基本周りの真似をしていれば大丈夫かと思います（笑）
前日リコンファームで電話ということでしたが、完全に忘れており当日心配しておりましたが、大丈夫でした。
また、チップは、下船時にお一人に20ドルをお渡ししました（周囲の方も同様な形でした）
総じて大満足のアクティビティでした。

Caution to Beginning riders!
Reviewed by: Apprehensive , 2019/04/28The guy who checks you In was somewhat rude and condescending. I know their job is to promote and sell the ATV Tours — but they really should caution beginners - our initial guide kept speeding up and i was downright terrified.
Lots of steep uphill and downhill spurts with extremely rocky terrain— with no guard rails or vegetation - so if one mistook the throttle you could go off the edge!
First guide ended up calling another guide who was much better with a slow rider (myself)- and the first guide continued on with 2 faster riders . The 2nd guide was great with me being a beginner.

楽しかった
Reviewed by: AKIKO御一行, 2018/10/28カアナパリ地区の滞在なら目の前のビーチから出発なので絶対このツアーがイイです。集合場所はビーチからすぐの芝生でちょっとわかりにくいですが、時間になると参加者が集まってくるのでわかると思います。日本人はうちらだけでしたが英語がわからなくても心配無く楽しめます。イルカにも沢山出会え、シュノーケルではウミガメとも泳げました。魚の数はそれ程多くはないです。朝食はシナモンロールにコーヒー、昼食はチキンのバーベキュー、アルコールも飲めて美味しくて満足でした。解散もカアナパリビーチなのでそのままホテルのプールに行けるので潮も洗い流せます。カアナパリでのバケーションには最高のセーリングだと思います。

Reviewed by: Mike Caranna, 2018/10/20We were promptly picked up at the designated time at the pier. This tour went West to Lahaina. The road thru the mountains became very narrow in places but our driver Halley did an excellent job of navigating the turns. This road was definitely more scary than the road to Hana.
Halley did a good job in explaining the various sights just as Sammy did the day earlier. She made frequent stops so we could get photos.
Once we arrived in Lahaina Town, Halley recommended a nice restaurant where we had lunch overlooking the ocean.
We were very pleased with this tour and would highly recommend it.

Great overall experience with Trilogy.
Reviewed by: SBMC, 2018/02/14The parking structure was a little hard to find. Once parked bring the ticket to meet at the beach and they would validate it. Everyone turned up on time and our group had 32 people. The catamaran was clean, spacious and well equipped with 2 restrooms, a shower, a bar and enough indoor and outdoor seating. All 4 crew members were nice and friendly. Coffee, cinnamon rolls & fresh fruit were SERVED for breakfast. We saw some whales on the way but they weren’t close enough. We stopped at Olowalu. Water was calm and snorkeling was good. Lunch was served at 10:30am. BBQ chicken was delicious and they grilled them on deck. People can do more snorkeling after lunch and we set off around 11:30. I was hoping we would see more whales on our way. Don’t expect to spend too much time whale watching on this tour. There are some cheaper tours out there, I’m not sure how those compare. We saw some boats with tons of passagers on board. We arrived back at Kaanapali Beach at 1pm.

Best experience ever!
Reviewed by: Jen S., 2018/02/05We just got back from a Maui vacation and our snorkel trip was the highlight of an amazing vacation.
We checked in with Snuba Willie by the beach. Willie gave us an outline of the day, company background, and basic safety instructions. He also mentioned an additional activity called Snuba. He said there was no pressure but if anyone was interested, to flag him down once we were on board and he’d tell us more. He then gave us instructions on how we were going to get on the catamaran.
We went down to the water and made our way on board. Our catamaran was Triology 111 and it is beautiful! It is spotless, in perfect condition, comfortable, and spacious. Once everyone was on board, we gathered below deck for an introduction and safety briefing. Captain Mike introduced our crew- Captain Carrie, Snuba Willie, Jamie, Gabriel, and David. He went over emergency information and all the details of our boat and what to expect. Then we got on our way.
The crew turned on music and we were allowed the run of the boat. Breakfast was served and the entire crew was incredibly attentive and thorough. While on our way to the site, we saw multiple whales- more than on the whale tour we took the day before. Captain Mike stopped the boat so we were able to watch them.
At the reef, we were given our gear. My family talked to Snuba Willie about the snuba option and decided to try it. We are so glad we did! It was spectacular!
The crew grilled our lunch while we enjoyed the water. We returned to the boat for lunch. After a fantastic lunch, we returned to the water.
The entire experience was beyond our expectations. We felt safe, informed, and very well taken care of. The entire crew was professional, warm, and engaging. If we are fortunate enough to return to Maui, we will absolutely take this trip again and if we can, we’ll do a full day snuba experience. It was well worth it!
