It was difficult to make a VIP reservation from Japan, so I reluctantly booked through VELTRA. I requested a pickup from the hotel, but even though the meeting point was specified at the entrance of the show, I never received the QR code. There were no local staff around, so I had to go back to the ticket booth to have the QR code reissued, but there was no mention of this in any emails, which I found to be quite lacking.

In Las Vegas and other tour shows, if you have a VIP ticket, there is always an artist meeting and a free photo opportunity, and depending on the show, there is also a backstage tour afterward. However, none of that was available, and all I got was a cocktail talk from a guy who may or may not have been in the show, which was quite disappointing.

I had given up on the website where I couldn't complete the payment, but it seemed like I could have gotten front-row seats, yet I ended up in about the tenth row. This was supposed to be a guaranteed front-row seat, so I was really let down.

Of course, the act was absolutely amazing, and the dinner menu was all themed around the act, making it a very special and wonderful experience. However, considering the high price, I felt a bit disappointed compared to my previous Cirque du Soleil experiences.

勿論アクトは最高に素晴らしくて、ディナーも全てのメニューがアクトに倣った内容で、とても特別で素晴らしい体験だったのですが、お高いだけになんだかなぁと、コレまでのシルク・ド・ソレイユ体験と比較して残念感が強めでした。

We went to Cancun for our honeymoon and decided to join this dinner plan since we were there. On the day of the event, the shuttle bus was delayed due to a demonstration, and we received a call only about 30 minutes after the scheduled meeting time, which made for a slightly anxious start. However, the excitement I felt the moment I entered the venue was indescribable; it felt like I had stepped into another world, and I was truly thrilled.

The story and the content of the show were, of course, amazing. The dinner menu featured many items related to the story, and I really enjoyed it! The flavors were delicious!

One thing to note is that the dinner time was only one hour long. Since the portions were quite large, most people couldn’t finish in that time... I regretted not being able to eat much of the dessert.

However, it was truly the best experience ever!!! If I visit Cancun again, I will definitely come back!!!

I have seen Cirque du Soleil performances several times, but this was my first experience at a permanent theater, and it was a wonderful place filled with the world of Cirque. The stage was, of course, amazing, but the food—both in appearance and taste—was also fantastic!

One concern I had was that the show ended late, so I was a bit anxious about how to get the one-kilometer distance from the drop-off point to the hotel. I consulted with locals and considered taking a 24-hour bus, but the bus stop was extremely crowded, so I ended up walking back to the hotel. Dinner starts an hour before the show, and I enjoyed a delicious meal while listening to live music on stage. The dinner was incredibly tasty, but the best part was the amazing presentation of the dessert coming out of a book container. The show itself was of high quality, and I had a great time. If you come to Cancun, I definitely recommend checking it out.

I chose a seat with champagne and dinner because I wanted to see the stage from the front, and the dinner was fun with various surprises, plus there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all.

I mistakenly booked the reservation for the day of my return home instead of the correct day, and I realized this after arriving in Cancun. I emailed to request a date change, and to my surprise, they changed it without any extra charge. I was really happy because this was an event I absolutely didn't want to miss with Cirque du Soleil.

I signed up for a plan that included bus transportation, but the bus was quite cold for Japanese people, so it's better to have a jacket. We were so cold that we ended up buying a blanket at the merchandise shop when we arrived.

We used this for our honeymoon trip. As others have mentioned, the meeting point for the pickup bus is extremely difficult to find. By the way, a pretty decent-sized bus comes. The meeting point is said to be next to the Tommy Hilfiger building, but the actual place where the bus stopped was quite far away. When we were there, there were people from Europe and America waiting, so it was good that we could ask them, but if we were alone, we might not have figured it out. Thanks to splurging on a course with food and drinks, the seats were fantastic. We were able to see everything up close, and the performances were impressive.

The venue is Playa Paraiso, about an hour from Cancun, so I recommend using the shuttle bus if you're staying in Cancun. However, the pickup location in Isla Mujeres is very hard to find. I've attached an image from the voucher, but it's blurry and doesn't get clearer when enlarged. I also couldn't tell if the pickup would be a car or a bus, or what type or color it would be. The voucher mentioned to call the tour company if the pickup didn't arrive within 5 to 10 minutes, but after 10 minutes, no vehicle that looked like a pickup arrived, and there were no other people waiting, which made me anxious that we might be at the wrong pickup location. Since my phone only had a data SIM, I asked a nearby mall staff member, who was Mexican, to help me make the call, but it took a while to reach the right person. In the end, I was told, "The pickup will be by bus, and there is a number (four digits) listed. It should arrive if you wait a little longer," and the bus finally came about 30 minutes later. It didn't seem like they felt sorry for the delay, so if such delays are normal, I would have appreciated a heads-up in advance, and I would like a clearer image of the pickup location map.

The atmosphere at the venue was wonderful, and the food looked very elaborate and was excitingly presented, but the taste was just average. I think the high price reflects the seat fee, so I didn't feel like I lost out, and if I have the chance to see it again, I would choose this course again.

I have always loved Cirque du Soleil and have seen performances in Japan and Las Vegas, USA. When I learned that there was a permanent show in Cancun, I purchased tickets to attend. Moreover, it was a rare show that included a meal. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the food, but it was very elaborate and delicious. Personally, I found the appetizers to be tastier than the main course. The performers were also close to us, allowing us to enjoy a different kind of show.

This time, I only booked the show since I had other plans before and after, but I thought it would have been better to include transportation. I took a taxi, but I felt like I was overcharged since there was a language barrier.

I visited during the Day of the Dead season in November 2023. I highly recommend it!

▼ Transportation
- There was some confusion because another shuttle bus from a different group was parked in front of the hotel at the meeting time, but they came to pick us up in the lobby a little late (the lobby staff mentioned they often run late), so I should have just waited calmly!
- Depending on the crowd, the timing may vary, but since it wasn't crowded that day, we arrived at the park in just over an hour (after 8:30 AM).
- For the return trip, we met near the parking lot after the biggest show ended (the meeting time that day was 8:25 PM). There was a bit of congestion at night, but we were back in the hotel zone by around 10 PM.
- The guide provided information in both Spanish and English, but most of the guests seemed to be Spanish speakers, so the guidance was mostly in Spanish. However, as long as you confirm the return meeting details, it shouldn't be a problem.

- The buffet only includes one serving (you can buy food and snacks inside the park, but they are a bit pricey), so it's better to have a hearty breakfast beforehand!

I couldn't see the Cirque du Soleil show when it was being performed in Japan due to timing issues, but during my stay in Cancun, the timing worked out perfectly, and I watched it from the best seats (VIP seats with dinner, unlimited drinks, and the show).

Before the show started, there was a performance by the bartender, and after being shown to our seats, we enjoyed some nice live music. I checked out other seats as well, but the VIP seats were right in the center. The food was visually appealing and delicious. We had unlimited drinks before the show started, so when I asked for champagne, I was able to get a refill.

The show, as expected from Cirque du Soleil, featured movements from the cast that were almost unbelievable. I thought to myself that I should have seen such a wonderful show in Japan as well.

Some of the dancers came to the audience, and since they performed around the VIP seats, it was an impressive experience to see them up close.

There are buses available from Cancun, so access is good, and I highly recommend it. I think families would also enjoy it.

The guide provided a simple explanation in English and led us to just past the entrance before we were free to explore on our own. It was so much fun that the time flew by from our arrival at 9:30 AM until the meeting time at 9:30 PM!

With lockers and lunch included, I was able to hang my phone around my neck and enjoy the day hands-free in my swimsuit.

Drinks inside the park are expensive, but I bought a bottle of water from the shop's refrigerator (it has a strap, so it's easy to carry) at the beginning, which allowed me to refill it with cold water from the servers located throughout the park. It was great to stay hydrated as much as I wanted! (I also saw some people filling their own bottles.)

The bus visited three hotels and was fully booked. Bringing drinks on the bus is not allowed. The guide mentioned that all the other passengers spoke Spanish and that they would come to explain in English later. The explanation was short, about 10 minutes, but I think it's good to remember that the pickup will be at the drop-off point at either 4:30 PM or 9:30 PM. The voucher mentioned a locker deposit, but there is no deposit required. At locker entrance number 7, you just need to tell them your name to get the key and use the locker. The staff at the location only spoke Spanish, so I couldn't understand what they were asking. When I looked confused, they checked the name on my wristband and gave me two keys. I went directly to Xcaret from the hotel without having to change buses. One disappointing thing was that the guide provided explanations about Xcaret in Spanish for 30 minutes and only 10 minutes in English, which clearly had much more information in Spanish. Since I was expecting an English guide, I wished there had been a bit more explanation in English.

I was able to enjoy the park without getting lost. There are three underground rivers, and depending on the course, there is a route where you swim through a dimly lit underground waterway, which scared some small children who ended up crying. Also, there were fish swimming in the water (it was seawater), so I recommend preparing or renting snorkeling gear.

There is no current in the river, so you swim on your own, which can be tiring. My child fell asleep during the night show. People were already heading to secure their spots for the night show early on.

I was a bit anxious about traveling to Mexico alone, but I was able to have a great time at this theme park. There were plenty of activities, and I had the experience of interacting with sharks. It was an activity where I could take photos with the sharks and swim with them. The staff were all very kind and friendly. There were many animals, and I got to see flamingos, iguanas, and turtles up close. In the evening, I was able to watch a dinner show where a large number of performers faithfully recreated Mexican culture. I learned a lot of new things, and it was a very fulfilling day!

You can choose the return bus either in the evening or after the show at night.

You can enjoy river rafting (the water was seawater, and anyone of any age can participate) and snorkeling, as well as experience Maya culture and visit a small aquarium and zoo, making for a full day of fun. We were there from morning until night, but there was still so much to see. There was also a section for hatching quail eggs. Although it was paid, the photo plan available with automatic cameras throughout the park was great.
