It was amazing!! The lagoon where you glide on a boat and the Caribbean Sea stretching towards the horizon are beyond words! You drive for quite a long time, and while moving slowly through the jungle, you can really take in the scenery.

The snorkeling was also great; you can dive down and see some simple statues, making it an experience that is worth more than the cost—definitely good value for money.

Even for beginners in snorkeling, if you get carried away by the waves, the guide takes great care of you, making it a perfect tour with a score of 200 out of 100!

ボートで滑走するラグーンと、水平線に向かって走るカリブ海は言葉に変えられません！かなり長時間運転して走りますし、ジャングルではゆっくり進みながら景色もちゃんと見れます。

シュノーケリングも潜って簡単な銅像見れたりして、コスト以上の経験でむしろコスパ良いと思いました。

I was able to observe multiple turtles in a short amount of time. Due to the season, there was a lot of seaweed, and the water wasn't clear, but it seems that it becomes clear in the summer. The cenote was very calm and serene, although it was on the smaller side.

It takes about a 10-minute swim from the beach to reach the turtle spot, so you'll need to wear a life jacket and snorkel, and be prepared to swim a bit in the waves. For young children, the local guide had them hold onto a float. The guide, Laura, was consistently kind and spoke in clear English.

It seems that this is part of a large-scale tour operated by the Xcaret Group. On the outbound journey, there is a pickup at major hotels by a bus from the Xcaret Group, and after gathering at the Xcaret theme park, you switch buses to head to Xel-Há. Only those heading to Tulum remain on the bus, and after a half-day tour of Tulum, you return to Xel-Há.

I enjoyed both Tulum and Xel-Há, but since the meeting time at Xel-Há was around noon and it was a busy season, the lockers were full, making it difficult to change into swimsuits and manage our belongings. Additionally, there was about a one-hour wait for the slides, so I didn't ride them, but I had plenty of fun.

On the way back, I was grateful to be directly dropped off at my hotel from Xel-Há.

トゥルムもシェルハも楽しめましたが、シェルハへの合流が昼頃になる為、時期が混雑時期だったこともあって、ロッカーが一杯で水着への着替えや荷物管理に困りました。また、スライダーは1時間ほど待ち時間があったので乗りませんでしたが、十分楽しめました。
帰りはシェルハから自分のホテル前まで直通で送って貰えて助かりました。

The boat really has an incredible speed! There’s a sense of exhilaration as it races through the water! While it can bounce a bit when there are waves, I think the boat is sturdy and safe. The mangroves aren’t very long, but I still think you can enjoy them. Once you pass through, the boat stops, and you can go snorkeling over the coral reef! While there aren't tons of fish, you can see some beautiful ones and even underwater ruins. (You won’t necessarily see the ruins, but if you ask the guide, they’ll take you there.) At the start, they take two photos for you, selling one for 20 USD or a set for 35 USD. If you hesitate a bit, they might give you a discount?! Since the boat goes fast, you need to be careful not to lose anything as things can fly around or bounce. When you sign up, they ask if you want insurance, so if you’re worried, it might be a good idea to get it. (It’s a bit pricey, so we opted not to get it and took responsibility ourselves.) I thought the price was reasonable for what you get.

This was a trip for our honeymoon.

First, regarding the meeting point, since there is no hotel pickup, we had to make our way to the meeting location on our own, which was a bit challenging. It's best to understand how to get on and off the bus before going on the tour.

Next, about the language, it was in Spanish and English, but I found the difficulty level to be quite high. The tour was large, combined with other dolphin tour groups, so we needed to concentrate intensely on listening every time there was an announcement. The guide spoke quickly and cheerfully, so we had to pay attention. Unlike other experiences, there wasn't much of a party atmosphere; it felt more like we were on a local island ferry with Latin music playing while everyone enjoyed soft drinks. There were many families.

As for Garrafon National Park, I think it's a family-friendly facility. The zip line over the water was indeed fun. However, due to strong waves, the snorkeling and kayaking were limited to a narrow area where lifeguards could be seen. Only about one group was using the kayaks. The VIP lounge had many guests with VIP treatment, so it didn't feel particularly exclusive. The buffet was below expectations.

We were full by the morning at Garrafon National Park, so we tried to go to downtown Isla Mujeres, but the only way there was by taxi, and golf carts were not available for rent at the park.

The tour guide announced that there would be pickups at 2 PM and 5 PM, so we decided to take the 2 PM boat to return to Cancun early. However, after stopping at the dolphin tour location, we were suddenly dropped off in downtown Isla Mujeres. Several passengers, including us, were surprised by the sudden disembarkation after the announcement and were left in downtown Isla Mujeres for about an hour.

Downtown Isla Mujeres is very interesting and suitable for strolling, but since it wasn't mentioned in the schedule, we had to limit our exploration and look for other tour guests at the dock to regroup. By the way, the shops around the dock are quite expensive.

After finally boarding the tour boat again, when we headed back to Garrafon National Park, it felt like we could do whatever we wanted.

In the end, we arrived at the marina in Cancun after stopping at Garrafon at 5 PM. There were events on the return boat for someone's birthday, but I was so exhausted that I didn't even give a tip, and the tour ended with us taking a bus back to the hotel from the marina.

Each place we visited on this tour was very attractive, but the order and method of visiting were quite disappointing. For those who want to go to Isla Mujeres and Garrafon, I recommend taking a boat to Isla Mujeres first and then renting a golf cart to go to Garrafon.

If you understand a bit more Spanish and English, this tour wouldn't be a problem, but honestly, I think it's too difficult for first-timers. When booking optional tours in Japan, be aware that the local tour company's schedule may differ, so it's better not to assume everything will go smoothly. However, I signed up for the tour in Japan because I lack confidence in the language. This isn't necessarily the fault of Veltra, and such unexpected events don't happen often in Japan, so it was interesting in its own way.

Isla Mujeres and Garrafon are very beautiful places, and I recommend visiting them at least once if you come to Cancun.

まず集合についてですが、ホテルピックアップではないので集合場所まで自力で行く必要があるので、これが一つ難所となります。バスの乗り方降り方がわかってからツアーに行きましょう。

次に言語についてですが、スペイン語と英語になりますが、難易度はかなり高かったように思います。ツアーも他のイルカツアーの方々と一緒の大所帯のため、アナウンスがある度にリスニング並みに集中して聞く必要があります。陽気に早口でしゃべりますので、注意が必要です。そして他の体験談ほどパーティー感はなく、地元の島の連絡船でラテンミュージックが流れてみんなソフトドリンクを飲んでる感じです。ファミリー層が多いです。

ガラフォン国立公園についてですが、ファミリー向けの施設だと思います。海上のジップラインは確かに面白かったです。しかし、他のシュノーケル、カヤックについては波が強かったせいか、監視員が見える狭い範囲での利用となります。カヤックについては一組くらいしか利用してませんでした。vipラウンジもvip待遇のツアー客が多いので、そこまでvip感はありません。ブッフェも期待通りに期待以下でした。
ガラフォン国立公園は午前中でお腹いっぱいだったので、イスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンに行こうとしましたが、そこまでの足がタクシーしかなく、ゴルフカートの貸し出しも公園では行ってないです。

ツアーガイドのアナウンスで14時と17時に迎えが来るとのことだったので、勿体ないけど14時の便で、早めにカンクンに帰ろうとしましたが、イルカツアーの場所に寄った後、突然イスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンで全員降ろされました。自分達を含め複数の乗客はアナウンスの有った後、突然の下船に驚きつつも船を降り、一時間ほどイスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンに放り出されました。

イスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンはとても面白く散策には向いてますが、タイムスケジュールにも記載が無かったので、散策もほどほどに船着き場で他のツアー客を探して合流することに。ちなみに船着き場周辺のお店はかなり物価が高いです。

そして下船場所と乗船場所が別なので、それもまた不安を煽る要素となりました。

やっとの思いでツアー船に乗船したものの、またガラフォン国立公園に向かった時はもう好きにしてくれって感じでした。笑

結局17時にガラフォンに寄ってからカンクンのマリーナに到着しました。帰りの船は誕生日の方のためにお祝いがあったりとイベントはありましたが、爆睡でチップも渡さずツアー終了、マリーナからバスでホテルに帰りました。

このツアーで寄った場所は１つ１つがとても魅力的な場所ではありましたが、回る順番や方法がとても残念なものです。
イスラ・ムヘーレス、ガラフォンに行きたい方はイスラ・ムヘーレスへ船で渡った後にゴルフカートを借りてガラフォンに行くのがオススメかと思います。

スペイン語、英語がもう少しわかるならなんてことないツアーですが、初見の方には難易度が高過ぎなのが正直な感想です。日本でオプションツアーを申し込む際は、現地のツアー会社とタイムスケジュールが違う可能性があるので、安心しない方が良いです。もっとも、言語に自信がないから日本でツアーに申し込みをするのですが笑。こればっかりはベルトラさんが悪い訳でもないですし、このようなハプニングも日本ではなかなかないので、これはこれで面白かったです笑。

イスラ・ムヘーレス、ガラフォンはとてもキレイな場所で、カンクンに来たら一度は行った方がオススメです。

The speed of the boat is exhilarating. After setting the throttle of the boat I was driving to maximum speed and enjoying about 20 minutes of gliding on the water, I entered a winding river. As I maneuvered the steering wheel through the meandering river, I made my way out to the open sea. After progressing for about 5 minutes in the slightly choppy waters of the open sea, I finally reached the long-awaited diving point. Based on my experience diving in various seas, I would say there were quite a few fish, but the variety didn’t seem very rich. I did see a few squid swimming, which were quite unusual. There were some coral reefs, but compared to the Great Barrier Reef, I think they weren't that impressive. Overall, I believe it was a thoroughly enjoyable tour. I definitely encourage everyone to give it a try!

。ハンドルをさばきながら蛇行する川を進むと外海に出ます。その後少し波の高い外海を5分ぐらい進むといよいよ待ちに待ったダイビングポイントです。いろいろな海を潜った経験から言うと、魚の数は結構いますがあまり種類が豊富とは言えなかった気がします。珍しい魚としてはイカが何匹か泳いでいました。サンゴ礁はそこそこありますがグレートバリアリーフに比べるとそんなに素晴らしいサンゴ礁ではなかったと思います。でも全体を通して、充分楽しいツアーだったと思います。ぜひ皆さんもトライしてみてください。

First of all, it cost about 1,200 yen by taxi since it's on the inland side of the hotel area. Clearly expensive.

This tour is highly recommended.
First, there is a brief boat driving lesson.
The guide only speaks English and Spanish, but you can generally understand the atmosphere, so it's not a problem if you're not good at English.

I participated in this tour based on a recommendation from a friend who has been to Cancun. We are a couple who loves activities.

In the morning, a bus arrived in front of the hotel, and then we had to transfer to the tour bus at a stop where many buses were parked. There are various buses going to different destinations at that stop, so make sure not to confuse the bus number explained by the guide.

At the Tulum ruins, even though we were on the same bus, the guide separated us into Spanish and English groups. The English was easy to understand, but if you go without any prior knowledge of the civilization, you might find it hard to grasp. After touring around, we had some free time. It was about an hour, which was sufficient. If you want to check out souvenir shops, it might be good to act quickly.

After that, we headed to Xel-Há Park. In the morning, the guide told us that "for some reason, only our couple didn't have a reservation," and he gave us a handwritten reservation form. We took that form to the counter next to the bus stop and got a wristband with a barcode. We fell behind other participants because of this.

At the marine park, there were no Japanese or Asian people at all. Lockers are limited, so you should secure one early. Time flies when you're eating, drinking, and doing activities, so it's important to decide in advance what you want to do at the marine park. I definitely wanted to experience the zip line, so I was able to enjoy it during a less busy time while eating. I went snorkeling, but honestly, it was a bit disappointing as it wasn't very clear. However, all rental items were well-maintained and individually packaged. For those who love activities, the water slide is a must-try here. It was very thrilling, and I wanted to experience it multiple times.

カンクンに行ったことがある友人からの薦めで、このツアーに参加しました。
私達はアクティビティが大好きな夫婦です。

朝にホテル前にバスが到着、その後、バスが沢山停まっている停留所にて、このツアー行きのバスに乗り換えがあります。その停留所には、様々な方面行きのバスが沢山あるので、ガイドさんに説明されたバスNo.を間違わないように。

トゥルム遺跡では同じバスのメンバーでも、スペイン語組と英語組に別れてガイドさんが説明してくれました。英語も聞き取りやすい英語でしたが、そもそも文明のことを何も知らずに行くとサッパリ分からないかもしれません。一通り回ってすぐに自由時間に。だいたい１時間弱の自由時間でしたが、充分でした。お土産店を見たい方は早め行動が良いかもしれません。

その後、シェルハ海洋公園へ。朝にガイドさんに「私達夫婦のみ何故か予約が取れてない」と言われ、ガイドさんが手書きで予約用紙をくれてました。その予約用紙をバス停留所の横にあるカウンターへ持参して、手首に巻くバーコード付きのブレスレットをGET。他の参加者より出遅れてしまいました。
海洋公園では、日本人含めアジア人が全く居ませんでした。ロッカーは数が限られてるので、早めに確保すべきです。ご飯食べたりお酒飲んだりアクティビティをしているとあっという間なので、この海洋公園で何をしたいか目的をしっかり事前に決めておくこと。私はジップラインは絶対体験したかったので、ご飯時の空いてる時間に楽しむことができました。シュノーケルしましたが正直あまり綺麗ではなかったのが残念。でもレンタル品は全て綺麗に管理されて居て、個包装になっていました。アクティビティ好きな方、ここで体験してほしいは間違いなくウォータースライダー。とても迫力があり、何度も体験したいものでした。
1日で周りきれない大きく、そして綺麗な公園でした。

一つ用意した方が良いもの。ビーチサンダルよりも、マリンシューズがあればとても過ごしやすいです。

The meals were very delicious, and the staff was friendly, making it a fun experience. The zip line activity was especially amazing. However, it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't dive or swim freely in the ocean; we only swam in a small area while snorkeling. But the sea was very beautiful, and it was a satisfying trip overall.

If I had to mention a downside, the loud, long explanations on the boat and the loud Latin music afterward were quite bothersome. The boat was old, and the vibrations were intense, so it's definitely a recipe for seasickness. I recommend bringing motion sickness medication with you.

We booked a tour for our honeymoon in Cancun. I wasn't very confident in my English, so I was a bit anxious, but there were no particular problems. I was satisfied with the tour as we could efficiently enjoy two places: the ruins and the marine park.

At 7:35, I got a bit anxious because the bus didn't arrive at our hotel for a while, but it came 20 minutes late.
At 9:00, we arrived at a terminal-like place for the tour company, Experiencias Xcaret, and transferred to the bus for Tulum Ruins and Xel-Há Marine Park.

For our honeymoon, we entered as a party of two.

① Tulum Ruins
First, we received a 600ml bottle of water, which was very helpful later on. It was extremely hot. Without water, it could have been quite dangerous. The ruins were relatively large in scale, and the nature around was lush. Iguanas and turtles were casually seen by the roadside, which felt extraordinary.

② Xel-Há Park
The marine park is mostly all-inclusive, except for some parts. Swimming with dolphins, the aerial bike, and jet boats are paid activities, but there’s plenty to enjoy for free. We started with snorkeling. I borrowed fins, goggles, and a snorkel, and the snorkel was hygienic as it was packaged and sterilized for each use. I was amazed by the many fish while snorkeling, but I had to stop quickly due to my stamina issues.
Next, we had lunch. We entered a buffet where Corona beer was prominently advertised. It was a bit unsanitary with flies around, but the ribeye steak was tender and incredibly delicious. I ordered a Corona beer, but the glass was a foreign size.
After that, we tried the giant slide. We waited about 15 minutes, but it was worth it and very thrilling. The water flowing down the slide was seawater, and a lot of it went up my nose. After that, we enjoyed river tubing and zip-lining, but the river had almost no current, and the sunlight was harsh, so I found that a bit lacking. The zip-lining was fun, and I enjoyed it multiple times until the end.
Overall, even though we visited on a Saturday, it wasn't crowded, and we were able to enjoy ourselves without much waiting. We also went to Explore, which is managed by the same company, but while Xel-Há doesn’t have as many attractions compared to Explore, it was not crowded, and we could fully enjoy the great outdoors.

②シェル・ハ海洋公園
海洋公園は一部を除くオールインクルーシブです。イルカと泳ぐ、空中バイク、ジェット船は有料ですが、無料の範囲内で十分に楽しめます。まずはシュノーケリングをしました。フィンとゴーグルとシュノーケルを借りましたが、シュノーケルは使用の度に殺菌をしているのか、梱包されていたため、衛生的でした。シュノーケリングでは沢山の魚がいて感動しましたが、私の体力の問題ですぐに終了しました。
次に昼食をいただきました。コロナビールが看板で売り出されたバイキングに入りました。不衛生でハエがいましたが、リブアイステーキが柔らかくて凄く美味しかったです。コロナビールを頼みましたが、グラスが外国サイズでした。
次に巨大滑り台をしました。15分程並びましたが、並ぶ価値ありで、非常にスリリングでした。滑り台に流された水は海水で、鼻に海水が大量に入りました。その後、川下り、ジップラインを楽しみましたが、川下りはほぼ流れがなく、日射しが痛かったので私としてはイマイチです。ジップラインは楽しく、その後終了まで何度も楽しみました。
全体を通して、土曜日の利用でしたが混んでおらず、あまり並ばずに楽しめました。経営を同じくするエクスプロールにも行きましたが、シェルハはエクスプロールに比べてアトラクションは及びませんが、混んでおらず、大自然を堪能できました。

We gathered at the departure point for Aqua Tours at 8:30, and I was a bit surprised that there were no other Japanese people among the more than 100 passengers besides us.

After nearly an hour, we arrived at Isla Mujeres' Garrafon National Park, and I was amazed by the beautiful sea, which was as stunning as or even better than Cancun! After storing our belongings in a VIP locker, we had a blast with activities like snorkeling, swimming in the pool, and zip-lining over the sea. The zip-line, in particular, is something you can't experience in Japan, so I highly recommend it.

While relaxing in the VIP lounge area, we encountered five iguanas. It was my first time seeing wild iguanas up close, and while we were busy taking photos, tourists from the U.S. and Brazil didn't seem particularly interested, which made me feel the cultural differences.

I had heard that we could rent a golf cart to explore the entire island outside the park, but it seems we would have to take a taxi from the park entrance to the golf cart station, so we decided against it.

The buffet lunch in the VIP lounge was delicious, and we were able to enjoy an extraordinary and luxurious time. However, there was one issue: we participated as two people with one free spot in the VIP monitor, but one of us was told they would receive regular treatment instead of VIP, and we had to pay an additional $20 to upgrade to VIP. 公園外ではゴルフカートを借りて島全体を巡ることができると聞いていましたが、公園出入口からゴルフカート乗り場まではタクシーで移動しなければならないらしく、私たちは断念しました。
VIPラウンジでのビュッフェ昼食も美味しく、非日常的な贅沢な時間を過ごすことができました。

The sea at Garafon National Park is the most beautiful among the Isla Mujeres. This tour is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing day or for families. Unfortunately, there weren't many fish at the snorkeling spots since they are limited. Also, the return boat gets very crowded, so if you line up on time, you can definitely get a seat. On the way back, even though you're tired on the boat, there are guides who force alcohol on you along with loud drinking calls and music, so if you want to avoid that, I recommend sitting as far back as possible.

イスラムヘーレスの中でもガラフォン国立公園の海が1番綺麗です。1日のんびりと過ごしたい方や家族連れの方にお勧めのツアーです。スノーケルのポイントは限られているのであまり魚がいなかった事が残念でした。また帰りの船は大変混雑するので時間には並ぶ様にすれば確実に座れます。帰り、疲れて船に乗っているのに爆音の飲みコールらしき音楽と共に酒を強要してくるガイドがいるので、関わりたくない方はなるべく後方の席に座る事をお勧めします。

I participated in early July. After about an hour on a boat from Cancun, we arrived at Isla Mujeres. Perhaps because it was early in the morning, light snacks and drinks were served on the boat.

The park is all-inclusive, and as soon as we arrived, I enjoyed some drinks. We were able to use the VIP lounge for lunch, where we had delicious food and drinks. I enjoyed snorkeling as an activity, and then just relaxed while looking at the sea. Since we left after 5 PM, we could take our time.

One thing to note is that since the boat goes directly to Garrafon Park, if you want to visit other spots in Isla Mujeres, you'll need to arrange your own transportation. I actually wanted to move around in a golf cart, but I couldn't rent one in the park, so I gave up on that.

I recommend just relaxing and enjoying the park!

注意点としては、ガラフォン公園に直接つくのでイスラムヘーレスのガラフォン公園以外のスポットに行きたい場合は、
自分で移動手段を確保する必要があることです。
本当はゴルフカートで色々移動したいな～と思っていたのですが、公園では借りることができなかったため断念しました。

I followed the boat that was leading us. We were able to enjoy it while taking videos. However, calling it a jungle is quite an exaggeration. But it was a valuable experience that you don't get to have often, and I had a great time.

Marina was just a short bus ride from Hyatt Ziva! It's in an easy-to-find location along the road! While I was waiting, people started gathering, so I followed them! I had a great time! Driving the jet ski was thrilling. It was an experience that you can't have in Japan, and I really enjoyed it!
