This was my second trip to Cancun, and since I had already visited the main tourist attractions on my first visit, I wanted to explore new places this time, which led me to Xplor.
The zip line experience was incredible, with a length of 3.8 km. It felt like there was no end to the rides, as after each zip line, you would climb a tower and zip down again. There were so many rides that I lost count of how many times I zipped down! There was even a course where you land in water, which was a lot of fun!
However, you have to grip the rope tightly, which can dig into your nails and become painful. Plus, since you're wearing a harness over your swimsuit, it can chafe a bit in the groin area (but it's manageable if you're prepared for it).
There are also other attractions like driving off-road vehicles through the jungle and navigating a boat through a cenote. I initially thought there were only about 8 to 9 activities, which seemed few, but it actually takes quite a bit of time, so I couldn't do everything in one day. Moreover, it requires a good amount of physical stamina, so it might be challenging for those who aren't in good shape.
The paths were well-maintained and easy to walk on, and the restrooms were clean. Overall, I appreciated that they preserved the natural environment.
Additionally, the buffet at the restaurant was very diverse and delicious, and the staff provided excellent service, which greatly increased my satisfaction. The showers were cold water showers.
Basically, you spend the whole day in your swimsuit, but wearing flip-flops can be dangerous, so it's essential to have shoes suitable for water activities. I was concerned about taking photos with my smartphone since it could get wet, so I opted for a photo package for around $100. They took pictures at various spots, and you receive the data later, but honestly, it was just okay. Considering the risk of my phone getting submerged or dropping it in the water, it was probably worth it. It's nice to have, but not absolutely necessary.
Even though the cost, including transportation, was quite high at just under 30,000 yen per person, I was very satisfied with the zip lines, other activities, and the delicious inclusive restaurants and cafes.
2回目のカンクンで、1回目に主要な観光地に行ってしまったので、今回は新しいところに行きたくて、エクスプロールにたどり着きました。
ジップラインは、3.8㎞？滑走しても滑走しても次があります。滑走したら塔を登ってまた滑走の繰り返し。あまりにずっと続いたので、何回滑走したのかわからなくなるほど。
途中で水に着地するコースもあり、楽しいです！
ただ、しっかりロープを握るので爪が手に食い込んで痛くなってくるし、水着にハーネスなので、股が擦れてヒリヒリします。（心づもりがあれば大丈夫なくらい）
他にもオフロードカーでジャングルを走るとか、セノーテの中をボートで進んだり、いろいろとアトラクションがあります。
8～9つくらいで、少ないと思ったのですが、結構時間がかかるので、1日で全部は回れませんでした。
というより、結構体力を使うので、元気な若者でないと体力的に難しいかも。
足元はしっかりと整備されていて歩きやすく、トイレもきれいですが、全体的には自然をしっかりと残している感じでよかったです。
また、レストランのブッフェがとてもバリエーションが豊富で美味しく、スタッフもしっかりとサービスしていて、満足度が高いです。
シャワーは水シャワーでした。
基本的には水着で1日過ごしますが、足元はビーチサンダルでは危ないので、水に入るようの靴は必須です。
水にぬれるので、スマホでの写真は危ないかな、と思い、100USドルくらいの社員を申し込みました。あちこちで写真が撮れて、あとでデータでもらえますが、、、これは、まぁイマイチ…でしたが、スマホの水没や水の底に落としてしまうリスクを考えると、仕方ないかな。あってもいいけど、なくてもいいかもくらいです。
送迎込みとは言え、一人3万円弱はかなり高いですが、ジップラインも、ほかのアクティビティも、インクルーシブのレストランやカフェも美味しくて大満足です。
バスタオルは必須です。ロッカーは1家族1つ？でめちゃくちゃ狭い。荷物はできるだけ少なめに。

It was a very large park where I could spend the whole day enjoying nature! There was an explanation about the park and meeting times on the bus, alternating between Spanish and English. I wasn't confident in either language, so I was a bit anxious, but once we arrived, I had no trouble and was able to enjoy myself.
The attractions have a wildness that you don't find in Japan. I especially want to ride the water slide again...! Also, lunch was a buffet with a wide variety of dishes, and it was very delicious.
By the time I experienced all the attractions, it was just the right time. I was completely satisfied after a full day of fun!

The attractions that make the most of nature are truly impressive! This is the only place where you can enjoy so many zip lines. The jeep ride is quite long! You can encounter iguanas and wildlife along the way. The swim walk was a bit cold, probably because it was February, haha. The meals were also very satisfying, making for a fun-filled day.

I had a really great time! The water slides were thrilling and the best! I recommend signing up for the photo plan! The food was also varied and really delicious! Every attraction was substantial, and the sense of satisfaction was amazing.

An adventure park in every sense of the word. My 8-year-old child was below the weight limit for the zip line, but they were allowed to ride without any issues. The other attractions were things that you wouldn't typically experience in Japan, and we had a great time from morning until evening.
I wore a swimsuit and a rash guard. Many people had water socks, but sandals that secure the ankles are perfectly fine. I was a bit worried that the plastic string on the locker key was too thin and might break. It felt like the same kind that comes with regular shopping tags...
The restaurant was delicious! I had high expectations based on other comments, and it did not disappoint; I was very satisfied. If the opening hours were a bit earlier, I think we could have taken our time to eat, but I guess the timing with the attractions is unavoidable.
What was disappointing was the wait time for the new attraction's slide. It seemed that the machine for transporting the four-person floats was broken, so they were transporting them by car, and we waited for an hour. Being in the sun drained our energy.
On the bus ride back, as we got closer to the hotel, there was loud music playing at a painful level. I thought it might be to wake up those who were sleeping so they wouldn't miss their stop, but it was quite noisy.
The price is high, but I think it's worth going at least once. Also, it seemed that for the tip, which is not a common practice for Japanese people, some people were putting it in the basket at the driver's seat.

値段は高いけど、一度は行く価値があると思います。
あと日本人にはなじみの薄い習慣のチップは、バスの運転席の籠に入れたい人は入れてるみたいな感じでした。

The multiple zip lines were fun, just as expected. However, it was tough to climb the stairs when going to the next zip line. It was nice that we could ride the jeep twice, and the courses were different. The meals were buffet-style, so I was able to eat what I liked. The juice seemed a bit watered down.

You can fully enjoy a day filled with long, exhilarating zip lines and exploring real caves while walking through water. Although it comes at a cost, I opted for the photo option that automatically captures images with a helmet chip, and I thoroughly enjoyed the attractions. To prevent losing your shoes and due to the rugged terrain of the caves, Crocs or water shoes are essential.
In Japan, many caves prohibit touching, and it's common for the pathways to be narrow, so I initially wondered if this large-scale cave was artificially created because touching is allowed here.
Meals and drinks are all-inclusive, and while it's certainly not a cheap tour, I believe it's a dynamic theme park experience that you can't find in Japan.

The main attraction is the zip line that connects various locations. There are shorter courses, but the longer ones have a bit of a wait. By the way, I got scared just before riding and ended up waiting for my friends at the bottom (it takes about an hour to go through everything, I think). However, many small children were riding, so I think it's fine. If you're scared, you can ride connected to another person.
As for the buggies, there wasn't anything like going into the water as mentioned in the introduction. Maybe it depends on the water level at the time? バギーと同じく鍾乳洞の中を進んで行くので素晴らしい体験ができました！
こちらは足の悪い人にはきつい体勢がずっと続くので気を付けてください。
飲み物と軽食がある場所はバナナやりんごがありました。飲み物はお国柄か基本的に全て甘めです。
お昼から夕方までのビュッフェレストランは
インターナショナルな料理でメキシコ料理、アメリカ、タイ何でもあって凄く良かったです！

I visited during the Day of the Dead season in November 2023. I highly recommend it!
▼ Transportation
- There was some confusion because another shuttle bus from a different group was parked in front of the hotel at the meeting time, but they came to pick us up in the lobby a little late (the lobby staff mentioned they often run late), so I should have just waited calmly!
- Depending on the crowd, the timing may vary, but since it wasn't crowded that day, we arrived at the park in just over an hour (after 8:30 AM).
- For the return trip, we met near the parking lot after the biggest show ended (the meeting time that day was 8:25 PM). There was a bit of congestion at night, but we were back in the hotel zone by around 10 PM.
- The guide provided information in both Spanish and English, but most of the guests seemed to be Spanish speakers, so the guidance was mostly in Spanish. However, as long as you confirm the return meeting details, it shouldn't be a problem.

・集合時間に別のシカレグループのバスがホテル前に停まっていたので混乱しましたが、少し遅れて（ロビーの方いわくよく遅れるそうです）ロビーに迎えにきてくださったので落ち着いて待っていればよかったです！
・混雑状況により前後するようですが、この日は混んでいなかったので1時間強でパークに到着できました（8時半過ぎ）
・帰りは最大のショーが終わったタイミングで駐車場付近で待ち合わせです（この日は20:25集合）。夜は少し混雑がありましたが22時くらいにはホテルゾーンに戻っていました。
・スペイン語と英語で案内をしてくれるガイドさんですが、お客さんの大部分がスペイン語圏のようでほぼスペイン語での案内です。が、最低限帰りの集合の案内だけ確認できれば問題ないと思います。
▼食事
・ビュッフェは1回分しかついていないので（パーク内では食べ物・スナックなどを買うことができますがやや高い）、朝ごはんは別途しっかり食べておいた方がいいです！
・バスガイドの方からも、15-16時頃にビュッフェランチを取ることを勧められますが、この時間はかなり混むので、もう少し早め（14時くらい）の方が良いと思います。
・入り口付近のレストランには人が集中しがちなので奥のエリア（シーフードビュッフェのペニンシュラなど）が美味しいしおすすめです。

・マナティー、ウミガメ、イルカなど、有料のアクティビティに参加しなくとも十分終日楽しめます！
・蝶々、鳥のゾーンが特におすすめです！あれだけの種類を間近で見ることができるのはほかではなかなかないと思います。
・このシーズンは死者の日の飾り付けがあり、たくさんのお墓にマリーゴールドの飾り付けがされるなど、カンクンでは唯一死者の日を体感できる場所だと思いました。
▼名物ショー「Xcaret Mexico Espectacular（Gran Tlachco）」
・夜18時〜19時半過ぎに、入口から左手奥へ進んだ大きなショー会場でメキシコの歴史・文化を味わえるショーがあります。メキシコ在住の方からも猛烈におすすめされる素晴らしいショーです！
・17時くらいから入場が始まっていたようで、15分前にきたときには上の方の席に通されました。自由席ではないので早めにいっても好きな席を取れるわけではありません。むしろ上の方が全体をよく見渡せたとも感じました！

We participated as a couple in our thirties and had a great time all day long.
Not only was there zip-lining, but the activities were packed with swimming in the river and riding buggies. For activities that don't get you wet (like zip-lining and buggies), wearing a swimsuit is perfectly fine. I wore a quick-dry T-shirt and shorts over my swimsuit, which was just right. Since you are constantly wet, I was wondering what to do with my phone, but you can buy photos for an additional fee, so I left my phone in a locker. It’s not cheap at 90 USD for the two of us, but you can take photos in various places, and the quality was quite high, so I recommend purchasing them. Some guests had their phones in waterproof pouches.
The restaurant for lunch was spacious, and everything was of high quality and delicious. There was a wide variety of options.
It's not too far from the Cancun Hotel Zone, so I highly recommend it for active travelers!

ジップラインだけでなく、川を泳いだりバギーに乗ったりとアクティビティ満載です。水に濡れないアクティビティ（ジップラインやバギー）も全て水着でOK。水着の上に速乾性のTシャツとショートパンツを履いていましたがちょうどよかったです。
常に濡れっぱなしなので携帯電話をどうしようかと思っていましたが、写真は追加料金で買えるのでロッカーに預けたままにしておきました。２人で９０USDと安くはありませんが、いろんなところで写真が撮れますし、かなり高画質だったので買うことをお勧めします。お客さんの中には携帯を防水パックに入れて持っている人もいました。
昼食はレストランも広く、どれもかなり高クオリティで美味しかったです。種類も豊富でした。
カンクンホテルゾーンからもそこまで遠くないので、アクティブな方にはとてもおすすめです！

I had high expectations for Chichen Itza, but since I had already visited Gran Cenote the day before, I found it a bit lacking. It might have been more enjoyable if I had added some paid attractions, but that would require waiting in a long line to buy tickets. There are several sections where you can experience the culture, so I recommend focusing on those areas.

The pickup was about 5 minutes late. On the way there, the guide talked non-stop like a machine gun. I was surprised by how they switched seamlessly between Spanish and English. I wished that important information for the return gathering was either included in the voucher in advance or spoken slowly.
For the return bus, we could choose to leave at 16:00 or after the night show at 21:40. Since we could decide freely, I was worried that if we stayed until the end, we might be left behind, but that was not the case, and we were able to board the bus safely. The night show is quite lively. However, if you're not familiar with Mexico's geography and culture, you might not understand why it's so exciting. But it’s still a lot of fun.
At the entrance, the guide leads you to the line for paid attractions, and that's it, so if you don't need the paid attractions, I think you can skip the line and move ahead. You can make reservations not only at the entrance but also at the attraction location if there are openings, allowing you to reserve, pay, and participate.
For the river float, I personally recommend the two Maya courses on the right, as the left course is mostly caves.
I might have gotten an upset stomach from the free water at Xcaret. My companion is fine, so it might just be that my stomach got cold.

入場場所でしか予約出来ない訳ではないので、アトラクション開催場所に行って空きがあれば予約、支払い、参加をすることも出来ます。
川流れは、左のコースだと洞窟ばかりのため、右側2本のマヤコースが個人的にはおすすめです。
私はもしかしたらシカレの無料水でお腹を壊したかもしれません。同伴者は無事なので、単純にお腹が冷えただけかもしれません。

We visited for our honeymoon. Even as a couple in our thirties, we had a great time.
You can request photos for a fee, and I wish I had done that. Other than photos and souvenirs, there are no additional costs.
We did zip-lining and rode buggies, which can be quite tiring, so there’s a café you can use multiple times besides lunch. You can enjoy self-serve coffee and cookies there. Since we tire easily, we used this café several times. We spent most of our time in swimsuits, so it was nice to warm up there. They had La France pears at the café, and I thought it felt very international to bite into one.
The scale of the rides and experiences is something you can't imagine in Japan, and you can have a full day of fun. The tour was explained only in English, which made me a bit anxious, but I thought as long as I listened carefully to the bus pickup time, I would be fine.
The tour bus only had English speakers. We were the only Asian-looking ones, so the tour guide was very thorough and polite in explaining things until we understood.

写真とお土産以外はお金はかかりません。
ジップラインをしてバギーに乗って…としているとかなり疲れるので昼食以外に何回でも使えるカフェがあって、セルフでコーヒーを飲んだりクッキーを食べたりできます。疲れやすいのでこのカフェは何回を使わせてもらいました。基本ずっと水着で過ごすので暖を取るのもいいと思います。カフェにラ・フランスが置いてあるので丸かじりをしました、海外っぽいなーと思いました。
乗り物や体験すべて日本では考えられないくらいの規模で丸一日遊べます。
ツアーは英語のみの説明でしたので不安でしたが、帰りの迎えのバスの時間をちゃんと聞いていたら最悪大丈夫かな、と個人的に思いました。
ツアーバスには英語圏の方たちのみ乗っていました。アジアっぽいのは私たちだけだったのでツアコンさんは私たちがわかるまでちゃんと説明してくれる方で丁寧でした。

Traveling to Cancun with a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old was a fantastic experience. Xcaret Park is a theme park packed with Mexico's nature and culture, and it exceeded our expectations in both scale and content.
**Tour Bus**
We departed the hotel at 7 AM on a shared bus and arrived at 9 AM. The guide provided explanations in English and Spanish about the highlights and important points. Since the explanations correspond to numbers on the map, having a map in advance makes it easier to follow along. To save your smartphone battery, it's best to grab a paper map from the hotel. The return buses leave at 4 PM and 9:40 PM, so we had free time until then, deciding our activities based on the kids' moods.

Explore was a lot of fun, but considering there are only five attractions, I think the price is a bit high. They take photos everywhere with a camera attached to your helmet, but I feel the cost is steep. Right at the entrance, there is a sales pitch right after you enter, and everyone seems to buy there, but there were several places inside where you could sign up, and it seems you can also do it on your way out. I recommend checking before you purchase. (I believe it was around $99 for two people.)
Lunch had a wide variety and the buffet was good, but the taste was quite average. The highlight was the juice stand. I think there were about two of them, and I mistakenly thought there would be unlimited soda like cola, but instead, they offered fresh juice made from a lot of blended fruits, which was very delicious. By the way, the only snack available was cookies. I felt it would have been great to have this juice available during lunch as well, but unfortunately, during lunch, they only had soda like cola, fruit water, and sweet cappuccinos from the start.

ちなみに、スナックはクッキーのみでした。
こちらのジュースがとてもおいしかったのでランチ時にもあると良かったと感じましたが、残念ながらランチ時はコーラなどの炭酸飲料と、フルーツウォーター、はじめから甘いカプチーノ等でした。

■Activities
The zip line was incredibly fun and exhilarating! It's an experience you can't have anywhere else, so it's worth going just for that.
The other three activities were honestly a bit underwhelming. The two cave exploration activities and the car activity got boring midway through the course.
I went during Golden Week, and the temperature was just below 30°C, so after getting soaked in the cold water, it was too chilly to stay like that. I changed out of my swimsuit around 2:30 and waited in the buffet area with a drink until the meeting time.
It seemed a bit challenging for a couple in their 30s to enjoy. On the other hand, I think families with children would have a great time!
■Food
It was very delicious! I had the impression that theme park food isn't good, so I wasn't expecting much, but there was a wide variety, and I enjoyed it. You can go in as many times as you want, so you can have lunch and also pop in for some sweets during break time.
The drink corner had smoothies, and they were all tasty! There were snacks like cookies and fruits. Since the meeting time was early, it seemed like everyone was waiting here, trying to stave off hunger until lunch opened, haha.

30代夫婦二人がはしゃぐには難しかったようです。逆にお子様連れの方は楽しいと思います！

とてもおいしかったです！テーマパークの食事はおいしくないイメージがあり期待してなかったですが
種類も豊富で楽しめました。何度でも入れるので、ランチと、休憩時間にスイーツだけつまみに入ることもできます。
またドリンクコーナーではスムージーがありどれもおいしい！軽食はクッキーとフルーツがありました。集合時間が早いので、みんなここで空腹をごまかしながらランチが開くのを待ってた様子です笑

全体的に綺麗でトイレ等も安心して使えました。
ロッカーは広くないので荷物は最小限にすることをおすすめします

The guide provided a simple explanation in English and led us to just past the entrance before we were free to explore on our own. It was so much fun that the time flew by from our arrival at 9:30 AM until the meeting time at 9:30 PM!
With lockers and lunch included, I was able to hang my phone around my neck and enjoy the day hands-free in my swimsuit.
Drinks inside the park are expensive, but I bought a bottle of water from the shop's refrigerator (it has a strap, so it's easy to carry) at the beginning, which allowed me to refill it with cold water from the servers located throughout the park. It was great to stay hydrated as much as I wanted! (I also saw some people filling their own bottles.)
During snorkeling, you can use the lockers available at the site. A deposit of 200 pesos is required, so it's a good idea to carry some small change.

シュノーケリングの時に、その場にあるロッカーを使います。200ペソのデポジットが必要だったので少額のお金を持ち歩くと良いと思います。
所々で行われるショーは必見なので、ショーのスケジュールが貼ってあるボードを写真に撮っておくと良いと思います。
ナイトショーはスケールが凄くて感動しましたっ！！
帰りの集合時間は始めにガイドさんにしっかり確認しておきました！
帰りのバス乗場にはたくさんのバスが並んでいますが、Xcaretツアーの赤いポロシャツを着たガイドさん(数人みかけました)にホテルの名前を告げると、どのバスに乗ればいいのか教えてくれたので迷いませんでした。

When I arrived at the meeting place on the day, I was informed that my reservation was at a different Xcaret facility. Since it was nighttime and a holiday in Japan, I couldn't confirm with the contact point, which was frustrating. I understand that inquiries can't be made at night or on holidays, so I think it would be reassuring if you could confirm the reservation in advance at the location. The facility was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed it all day long. I recommend bringing marine shoes from Japan. There are about five activities in the vast nature. They are all activities that you can't experience in Japan, and I highly recommend them. I especially loved the zip line and the jeep! If I go to Cancun again, I will definitely want to go back. The facility itself deserves five stars.

It was incredibly fun, and I want to go again! Surprisingly, the tour guide spoke English quite well. The night show is truly a must-see! I sat in the front row, but maybe the middle section would have been easier to see? I was a bit disappointed with the snorkeling as there weren't many fish.

The bus visited three hotels and was fully booked. Bringing drinks on the bus is not allowed. The guide mentioned that all the other passengers spoke Spanish and that they would come to explain in English later. The explanation was short, about 10 minutes, but I think it's good to remember that the pickup will be at the drop-off point at either 4:30 PM or 9:30 PM. The voucher mentioned a locker deposit, but there is no deposit required. At locker entrance number 7, you just need to tell them your name to get the key and use the locker. The staff at the location only spoke Spanish, so I couldn't understand what they were asking. When I looked confused, they checked the name on my wristband and gave me two keys. Many areas near the locker entrance had poor Wi-Fi connectivity, and without a paper map, I was initially confused about what to do if I couldn't load the theme park app. When I asked where the lockers were, I was told number 7, but I was unsure what that meant. I highly recommend it! Even if you miss the bus number on your way back, just saying the hotel name will have the staff properly guide you. Also, the park itself is so large that you can't see everything in one day, so I recommend prioritizing where you want to go.

During the hotel pickup, your name will be called, and you'll receive a wristband with your destination and name on it. You'll take a bus to a location similar to a bus terminal where you'll transfer buses. There are restrooms and a small souvenir shop at the transfer point.
There are colored lines on the ground that match the color of your wristband, which can help you find your way to the next bus. However, since there are many buses, it's a good idea to ask the staff for assistance and show them your wristband; they will guide you to the correct bus.

手で漕ぐ筏下りは下手な人が乗ると後ろが大渋滞してました。
短いコースにしてよかったと思いました。
ハンモックのジップラインは自分で好きなハンモックの色を選んで持っていって乗れました。
スタッフさんも優しくて凄く楽しい1日になりました。

We used a tour for our honeymoon this time. As others have mentioned, aqua shoes are essential. They are very expensive if you buy them inside the Explore park.
We visited in mid-February, and if it’s sunny, a swimsuit and quick-dry t-shirt are fine. I brought a rash guard for warmth, but I didn't use it. Also, since we went on a weekday, there were no wait times for any attractions, and even when choosing longer courses for the boat and river swim, we had plenty of time.
Regarding language, the tour explanations are primarily in Spanish, with some English explanations, but I could hardly understand them, haha. The staff in the park also spoke Spanish, but since there were many international visitors, everyone explained things in simple English and gestures, so it was manageable.
If you pay attention to the atmosphere and the movements of other tour guests, you’ll be fine. Just make sure to do some research on reviews and online beforehand.

写真についてですが、至るところでボタン式の自動撮影があります。高いし、説明わからないから買わなくていいや、と適当に撮影スポットを流してしまいましたが、終わった後に見たら、ちゃんと撮っておくべきでした。結局写真は買いました。またGoProを持ち込みましたが、手持ちでの撮影はNGで、クリップ式で留める、リスト、チェストストラップを使う等の対策が必要です。ヘルメットにマウントをつける場合は係員に申し出るようアナウンスがあります。その場合のマウントも自分たちで用意する必要があります。
全部で４つしかアトラクションはありませんが、日本では決して体験できないものばかりで、その一つ一つが30分以上時間のかかる内容ばかりでとても楽しかったです。
