Busselton Jetty in Busselton, Western Australia is the longest wooden pier (over a mile long!) in the world. This heritage landmark was started in the 19th century and has become longer over the decades until its closure in the 1970s. Today, the pier takes tourists to an underwater observatory by way of a built-in train line along the jetty. It can be said that Busselton Jetty is one of Western Australia's iconic attractions with its picture-perfect view.
