- Any cancellations made between the booking confirmation date to 09:00 local time, 1 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of NZD 20.00.
- Any cancellations made after 09:00 local time, 1 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

Restrictions
- Photography and video recording is prohibited inside the Waitomo Glowworm Caves but it is allowed in Aranui Cave.
- Smoking, bringing of food, drinks or pets are not permitted inside the caves.
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
Required items to bring & attire
- Proof of age for children between ages 4 and 14 years old.
- Walking shoes
- Sweatshirt / light jacket
Other requirements
- Please check in 30 minutes before the scheduled tour time of each tour.
Additional notes
- Preferred time for each cave tour must be booked and scheduled at least 30 minutes apart from each other.
- A complimentary shuttle bus runs, however due to limited capacity during peak season may require some customers to self-drive to the cave entrance, 5 kilometers from the visitor center.
- The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
