The exhebition was superb. We took an audiogide to have al the explanation and historical facts. Just a problem of timing.!! We could only spend 2hours in the building which is 1 hour to less to sea and also listen to al the explanation. With the audioguide they schould give the users the time to listen fully during the whole gallery!!!

We went on 31st December

Reviewed by: Anonymous, 2015/04/16

It was a very, very cold day, unusual for December in Italy. We had a reservation for 3 pm, arrived at the Gallery before 2:30. The tickets were sold out until 6th of January. There was a lot of people who didn't know that you need a reservation and we saw them walking away disappointed. We were glad that we booked those tickets in advance. Btw, you have to print off the voucher you will get in an email from Borghese Gallery. We waited for a while in a cafe and entered at 3 pm. It wasn't that crowded, so we didn't really have to arrive that early. We loved Berninis sculptures, they looked so real!

You have to book in advance

Wonderful gallery. Very well maintained.
You won't get in unless you make a reservation in advance, so this ticket is a good option.
You can see the whole gallery in about 2 hours. 10 min walk from there is the National Gallery, also worth recommending.

A dream come true

Reviewed by: Anonymous, 2015/04/16

When I was in Italy for the first time, I didn't know that I will need a reservation to go in... But this time I bought this ticket in advance and I was able to visit Borghese Gallery, which was always my dream. We stayed in a hotel that was very close to the gallery, so we had a slow and relaxing walk there. Finally I could see the works of Bernini and Caravaggio! I especially enjoyed Bernini sculptures, that could be seen only there. If you are ever in Rome, you have to visit this gallery!

Borghese Gallery

We arrived at the gallery at 8:30, exchanged our vouchers for tickets, left our luggage in the cloak room and waited for our entry time admiring Roman sculptures. We entered at 9:00 and the gallery was quite crowded already. We really enjoyed Bernini's sculptures. Borghese Park nearby is also very nice.
