Fun Tour

The tour was a good way to get an idea of where places were to revisit during our stay without having to search too much on our own. The tour guide and bus driver were fun and friendly.

Efficient tour

I recommend this tour to everybody who would like to see the Dutch countryside. With this combo trip you can save money, there was also a lot of free time to do sightseeing on your own. Wooden clogs workshop and windmill village visit became a great memory. The view of windmills standing next to each other was beautiful. The guide was also very nice and cheerful. The inly thing I would recommend is to reconfirm group meeting time and point. On the day we went, one Japanese couple was left behind in Zaanse Schans, because they were late. It's a group tour, so there was no other way, but you must be careful, as they are very strict with the timing.

Windmills, fishermen village and wooden clogs..

Reviewed by: riritan, 2015/10/23

We went on this tour in November.
Meeting point was easy to find, a member of stuff was already waiting there with a board with the name of the tour.

Morning part of the tour, Amsterdam sightseeing, was a bus tour, but we stopped in front of the windmills for about 10 min to take some pictures. At the end we visited a diamond factory. Of course everything was to expensive to buy, but it was good to see some high quality diamonds.

In the afternoon, after about 1 hour bus drive, we reached windmill village and we were able to visit inside of a windmill too. At Volendam we tasted some cheese and took a boat to the clog workshop.

We were not sure about joining a tour in English, but the guide was very nice and politely explained meeting point and time many times.
