This tour made the visit possible

At first I had the simple idea that I could visit Cinque Terre on my own. However, after having actually gone, I think the transfers between bus, train and boat would have been difficult to do on my own. I was able to sight see with peace of mind thanks to this tour.

Superb Seaside Tour

The World Heritage view of grape fields that cling to the mountain sides on our way from Milano, the beautiful La Spezia port viewable from atop a plateau, the numerous multi-colored homes that you cannot stop looking at, I enjoyed all of the things on this tour. Of the 5 Cinque Terre cities, we went to Manarola by bus. It was fantastic to walk around in the town as well as see the homes built on the cliff edge from a higher elevation. From there we went to Monterosso by train. During lunch, I could see the parasols of the visitors sun bathing on the beach, reinforcing the sensation of a European vacation. If I had more time I would have liked to stay for several days in this beautiful town surrounded by ocean and mountain. After seeing the other towns from boat, we eventually arrived at Porto Venere. I had visited Cinque Terre before on my own, but seeing the villages from several perspectives on bus, train and boat made this trip especially enjoyable. It was a satisfying day at an iconic northern Italy seaside destination. <Translated by Veltra.com>

Fits in a lot in a day

Really well organised tour that balances long distance to and from Milan with seeing the major sites. The bus is modern and comfortable.

There's enough free time in each village to eat/get a drink/do some souvenir shopping.

One thing we didn't realise was that there is time to take a short swim; we wish we'd brought our bathers.

Tour guide should of been a little more active with explanations during the tour. I understand all the complexity, but more explanations and facts would of been very helpful and useful. At the same time I appreciate the ability to book this tour at the very last moment and fast telephone and internet response of the booking team.
