Worth seeing

We went in winter during the low season, so including us 2 there were only 11 people on the tour. The bus was big and we could seat comfortably wherever we wanted. The journey to Delphi took about 3 hours (there was one toilet stop on the way), so it wasn't that bad. On the bus a female guide was telling us about Greek myths and Greek history.
When we reached Delphi we had to walk quite a lot as the ruins are on the top of the slope, so better wear comfortable shoes. The guide explained the story of the ruins very enthusiastically. The museum was full of interesting things, for eg. very well preserved bronze statue of a coachman, which is definitely worth seeing. After visiting the museum, we had a late lunch at around 3 pm. During lunch we had a nice chat with a family from Taiwan, people from San Francisco and Spain.
The tour takes you to the UNESCO heritage site of Delphi, which is not that easy to go on your own, and we were able to admire beautiful Greek countryside from our windows. Everybody who is interested in ancient ruins will enjoy this tour.

Satisfied!

The guide was very good and knowledgeable. we were driving through the mountains, so we could admire beautiful views through the window. Because of the landslide, part of the the area around the ruins was separated by a rope, so there were places we couldn't go close to, but most of the place was open to the public. We were satisfied.
It's a quite a troublesome place to go on your own, so a one day tour from Athens was very convenient. We were chatting with people on the same bus and it was fun.

It was fun!

Because the hotel we stayed in Athens was on a narrow back road, the bus couldn't drive there and we had to walk to a nearby hotel for the pick up. From there the micro bus went to pick up other guests and then we changed to a big bus. The guide's English was easy to understand and we were very satisfied with the tour. The ruins of Delphi and surrounding nature were great. The guide showed us around Delphi museum, which was a valuable experience as well.
