Beyond the Tourists in Venice

They say the way to someone's heart is through their stomach - and in Venice's case, it is possibly the best way to get there! Beyond St Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge and other tourist hot spots, there are some amazing local bars and restaurants just waiting to be discovered along some unassuming alleyways. I enjoyed some amazing 'chichetti' (finger food) and delicious local wine - things I would never have found otherwise. My guide spoke excellent English and was engaging from start to finish!
