Great time in DC

We used the City Sights card for the hop on hop off tour in DC. It was a great way to get around all the major monuments, museums, and memorials. The night tour is amazing but need to line up very early. The bus ran out of seats up top so had to ride inside. It was still a great trip at night and this tour even stops at the Lincoln Memorial for 30 minutes. We used our activity at National Geographic Museum. It was different than what we expected (lots of photos from the magazine) but was still interesting especially the Titanic exhibit! Definitely would suggest the 48 hour tour. Very hard to do DC in 1 day!

The Night Tour is a must, so interesting and Keary, our guide, was excellent. The Loops were good and very informative however we were given assurances a couple of times that a bus was coming in 10 minutes and had to wait over 30 minutes. Better info on when the next bus is would help, particularly when going to Arlington Cemetery as the last bus leaves at 4.15 and the cemetery and seeing the changing of the guard is so interesting.
We visited the International Spy Museum which was an eye opener - although we felt more on actual spies rather than Bond would have added to the experience, unless you are a Bond fan in which case this is an experience for you and also great for kids. We wish we had the time to go to Newseum.....other museums were good.
