Perfect introduction to Granada and the Albaicin

Reviewed by: Caroline, 2018/03/29

The perfect introductory tour to Granada!
The meeting point is at the local tour operator office located in downtown granada, very easy to find. Our tour guide Violeta was excellent.
First, she took us around the historic center of Granada and shared lots of interesting historic facts about the city.
We visited the Sagrario Church, the stunning oratory of the Madraza, Casa de Zafra moorish house and Casa Porras house, places that we would have missed without this tour. The Madraza is just incredible.
We also explored the narrow streets of the Albaicin and viewpoints and ended with the Moorish craft shops, stalls and tea house streets of the lower part of the Albaicin before going back to the historic center of Granada.
Definitely a must-do tour on your first day in Granada.

2 hour walking tour in a maze

At the beginning when we saw the guide at the meeting point, we were not sure if he was one of the tourist or a guide as he was wearing casual cloths, but he was very nice and easy to understand. We were walking around the narrow streets of Albazin, where even a car can't get in - I think it was a difficult route to do without a guide. We took many great pictures and we are very satisfied with the tour!
