Jungle Rafts

Lived up to expectations. Great experience, wonderful guides. And a rare insight into the indigenous peoples in theatre.
A cold reminder of the living hell of war.
Never Again.
So much to do and so much to see in too short a time.
Try it you won't regret.

Absolutely loved this tour and staying on the jungle rafts. We wished we had stayed longer. Visited Hell Fire Pass, waterfalls and caves by longtail boat. Local village was behind Jungle Rafts and villagers were employed as staff. The rafts were great, comfortable and clean. No power or hot water, but not a problem. The cold water shower was quite warm and the lamps added a quaint touch. Elephants bathed in the river every morning next to our room. We loved to get in the River Kwai with our lifejackets at the end of the rafts and float down the river about 600 metres to the end of the rafts and get out at the ladder. A bit tricky to get out as the river was fast flowing, but lots of fun. Food was very good, our only complaint was that they fed us too much.
Very highly recommended.

It was a wonderfull three days. We loved every minute we were there. We did not have rafting as per the itinerary. The tour company said it was not included. We were taken to the second hotel by boat and not by raft. We are not complaining as the rest of the tour was excellent. The Elephant ride was fun and staying in a room with no electricity and a net over our bed was exciting for us.
The service was great and the food terrific. Our tour guide stayed with us the whole three days and was excellent. She had a nice way of explaining everything to us.

Thanks for having this trip available for people to enjoy.
