Wonderful introduction to the Vatican City

Reviewed by: Elizabeth, 2019/06/09

We booked this before leaving the UK and are really glad that we did. The guide, Antonio, was really knowledgeable and somehow managed to not loose any of us in the packed Vatican museums. It was a three hour tour and he managed to cram so much in despite the crowds. Alone we wouldn't have managed a half of what we saw with him and would probably have given up long before three hours. The title 'No - wait Skip the line', is a little misleading as we did queue for about 20 minutes but being part of a guided tour did seem to give us priority and he used the time that we were queueing to give us lots of information regarding history and context. Would probably go on an earlier tour next time - in the hope of missing some of the crowds.

The throngs of people enjoying these venues makes it a challenge to focus on what you are actually seeing. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and did his best to take opportunities where we had relative quiet and space to prepare us for what we were about to see.

The uses of microphone and earbuds were indispensable in keeping us informed and together as a group.

All the important and iconic points of interest were seen and appreciated, in spite of the crush of people. Be prepared for the crowds, and do your best to focus on what you are witnessing. It is a very beautiful and amazing place!

Excellent we were told in the beginning of the tour we may not get to see the Basilica because the Pope was giving a blessing but we got to go through and we even got to see the Pope 15 feet from us. The art was so beautiful. No words to describe the experience. Great guide

Highlight of my trip to Rome!

I recommend this tour to everyone visiting Rome. The booking process, the tour guide and the places to visit is worth every dollars spent!

The meeting point was easy to locate and someone will be there to assist you immediately.

The tour guide memorized all our names at the very start of the tour and made sure to talk to us to make sure we are having a great time. She was very knowledgeable, i have learned a lot from her and she made it very interesting that i decided to buy a book to learn some more. The activity was fun from start to finish. There was never a dull moment with her!

  • Me and the amazing tour guide!

  • They are ready to assist you at the meeting point!

Vatican museum skip the line tour.

Our guide was wonderful. She had great knowledge of the material. She was funny. We were unable to truly appreciate the venue as it was way too crowded. While visiting a Church you shoulb be able to take your time and appreciate the antiquities housed there. It was so crowded that you were continually being jostled by others. Unfortunately for a Church popee were not on best behaviour. The Sistene chapel was so crowded it was impossible to move and therefore difficult to appreciate. the best views of it are found outside in the courtyard with the hanging posters.

Had a great experience the lady that showed us around was very informative.
She was by aware of everyone in our group. Could not have asked for a better guide.

We were given a vast amount of information told in away that was easy to take in.

So glad we booked this tour.

This tour is worth the cost to avoid all the long lines and more importantly having an educated tour guide who was able to give us a great overview as we walked through the massive Vatican museums. The museums would be overwhelming on your own and the synopsis provided helped to connect the dots of the Catholic Churches art collection. The 25/30 minutes in the Sistine Chapel was a special moment of our three weeks in Italy

I forgot the name of our guide, but she was really good and took real good care of the entire group. Even though the Vatican is generally crowded, the tour itself was unhurried and as insightful as it could be.

I can really recommend this guided tour. Sylvia, our tour guide, was so kind and patient and kept us really informed about everything we were seeing. Our group was small enough to be able to move quickly through the Vatican and but with enough time to see whatever we wanted. We never felt rushed by Sylvia and at the end of the tour I really felt nothing had been left out and the information was great.
