Reykjavik City Sightseeing Full Day Tour with Golden Circle of Iceland Visit
Overall Rating
4.50A recommended combination
Reviewed by: Nicole, 2015/10/07I did this combined excursion on one of my last days of my holiday in Iceland. One again, I was surprised by the efficiency of the pick up and drop off at my hotel! The highlight for me was seeing the geysers, especially the erupting Strokkur geyser. Yes, I saw them at Disney parks around the world, but seeing real ones is a different story all together! Between the tour of Reykjavik and the Golden Circle tour we had time at the bus terminal to enjoy lunch. There's a deli located right next to the terminal which has excellent sandwhiches and pastries. Please take note! ;) Combining these two tours in one excursion was a good idea and gives you a good sample of Iceland. Recommended! The advertised free wi-fi on the bus doesn't work sometimes but who needs wi-fi while visiting Iceland?

A day well spent!
Reviewed by: Mark, 2015/10/07Combining two tours in one seemed like a good idea and also gives you a small discount. I did this tour on my last full day in Iceland. Having already ventured into Reykjavik a couple of times on my own I wasn’t too sure if the first part of the tour would be very interesting. This was not the case however as you also hit many spots outside the very city center. The guide also provided interesting information. The second part of the excursion is all about the great golden circle. The Gulfoss waterfalls were breathtaking and the ‘erupting’ Strokkur at Geysir very beautiful. A last day in Iceland very well spent! Maybe I'd put this tour earlier on my itinerary next time... Pick up and drop off at the hotel were excellent and on time, just like at the other excursions.
