Nice Birthday Trip

The weather was too cold to enjoy this tour completely.

Outside of that it was a lovely experience

Times are not accurate

I chose this particular tour because it would give me time to listen to the boys choir as well as do shopping before we had to scout out at 1:45. Instead we were told to be back by 1:20. That’s a difference of 25 minutes. A big deal.

I pointed out the discrepancy to the tour guide and she didn’t budge.

Also, we left late because one tour guide didn’t show up. I own my own business so I get it. So we had one tour guide for a bus load.

One more thing... I ‘thought’ when they said tour it meant they gave us a tour of the basilica. Not true.

She tour guides on the bus and then points out what you can do during your free time.

Unless you’re a superhero, you’ll only be able to go and touch the black Madonna (which is what I did) while others took the tram up to the top and others drank liquor.

I wanted to go to the museum that there was no extra time.

So if you truly want to see everything, you need a longer tour.

Beautiful Excursion

Our guide was great and the head sets provided to the group made it really easy to hear her. We had ample time to tour and look around on our own to take in the views. The Monastery and the views are a "Must-See" when you go to Barcelona.

Need more time

I expected the tour to be more “guided”. Although our tour guide provided information about Barcelona, I feel like not enough information about Montserrat and the basilica were provided. The tour is also not long enough. Could’ve definitely used at least a couple of more hours there.

A wonderful place to be when you visit Barcelona city..

Our guide on Sunday, March 4th was very good. She explained the process to see the Virgin Mary very well and all of the other options during the 2 hour free time.

Very well worth the time and cost. The boys choir after Sunday Mass is worth the wait.

Enjoyed the trip thoroughly

We as family booked half day trip to Montserrat. It was wonderful experience. Trip was well planned and managed. Guide Anna was amazing. Highly recommended.

This was a perfectly awesome tour, capped by perfect weather. I've never seen anything like this place! And I've been in many countries around the world!!

Montserrat's tour

Great place to visit. Bus was very well kept and the tour guide was very informative. The only problem with bus tours, you are not given enough time to truly enjoy the sights.

We had a wonderful guide and wonderful driver. Beautiful day and the tour was great.

Comfortable coach brought us to Montserrat. The guide was very friendly, she gave us all necessary information. The monastery is beautiful, it is worth of visiting.

My daughter and I LOVED it. Beautiful. The whole experience was great . Our tour guide was very informative also. We just wish we had a little more free time to wander around. The place is beautiful but parts we didn't get to see because of time restraints. Very much recommended tho !

It was a nice scenic drive to Montserrat from Barcelona. The views going to the top of the mountain were spectacular and the visit to the Royal Basilica where we got to touch the Black Madonna was just amazing and such an experience which we won't forget easily.

The trip is well worth while and the views are great . Only thing is we though 1/2 day was way to short and was too rushed and we got to do very little while there .
Would recommend a day if you want to go down to the Grotto or up to the top as well as visit the Church.

Everyone who visits Barcelona should go to Monserrat. The mountains are fabulous. Not enough time though to visit everything.

It was wonderful!

A visit to Montserrat is a must! It takes time to get there, but it's really worth it. During the tour we were given drink exchange tickets, but we couldn't find the place and didn't use it.. But we didn't really care for it and enjoyed the tour.

Great if you want hear Boys Choir

We booked this tour because we wanted to see the view and listen to the choir, one of the oldest boys choirs in Europe. I was the only Asian in the group, but the guide was very easy to understand and I didn't have any problems. Japanese tour departed only in the afternoon when it's not possible to see the choir performing, so better be careful.

A spectacular Basilica in a spectacular setting. A very informative and knowledgeable guide as well. This was a true highlight of our trip to Europe. Not to be missed.

This was an awesome tour and we loved the drive and the informative tour guide along the way. We had plenty of time to slip in the chapel and listen to the choir, make it to the top of the funicular, take some pictures and get back down to eat a bite before we left. You could certainly spend several hours at the top hiking - it's breathtaking. But for a short tour, this is a must on a visit to Barcelona.
