Required items to bring & attire
- A valid Japanese or International Driver's License is needed to participate in this activity.
- Visitors to Japan must bring their International Driver's License and Passport. International Driver's Licenses must be from countries signatory to the Geneva Conventions on Driving or a SOFA License issued by the United States Armed Forces.
- Visitors with a Swiss, German, French, Belgian, Slovenian, Monaco, or Taiwanese license must also provide an official translation of their license issued by their Embassy, Consulate, or the JAF.
Additional notes
- Liability insurance of JPY 2,000 is not included and will be needed on site.
- Business hours are from 9:00-18:00 between January-February and 8:00-19:00 from March-December.
- All cars are open-top and automatic (no stick shifts/manual cars available) with car navigators.
- 1 child seat can be added per car. Please note that an additional rental fee will be needed on site.
Under the laws of Japan, a child seat is needed for children under 6 years of age.
Infant seats: children that weigh under 10 kg.
Junior seats: children that weigh between 9 to 18kg.
Child seats: children that weigh between 15 to 36 kg. - Pick-ups and drop-offs from Kawaguchiko area is available. If you require transfer services, please request upon booking.
Please understand that during peak season, this service may be unavailable.
