Our entire family from 11 yrs old to adults really enjoyed this trip. The pilot was knowledgeable and shared lots of history and fun facts about the island. It was defiantly a trip we were all happy we took.

Highlight of the whole vacation!

Kaua'i was our first Hawaiian visit and the views on the helicopter tour show what allows you to see this incredible island in the best possible way.

投稿者: ユウヤケパットマン, 2018/06/10テレビで見聞きしていましたが、この素晴らしい景観をこの目で見ることができて感動の時間を過ごせました。Pilot（Mr.ダレン）さんの英語と軽妙な日本語での説明で、飛行前の不安を忘れ、リラックスでき、あっという間の時間でした。このツアーに参加するにあたって経験したことを少し、記載しますので参考にしてください。
１. リフエ空港からBlue Hawaiiann事務所まで徒歩で約10分（1㎞）くらい。
（ホテルからカウアイバスを利用したので参考まで）
２．入口ドアを開けると、正面に受付。受付カウンターで名前を告げます。次に、当日の体重を測ることになるのですが、ちょうど自分が立っている足マットの下が、体重計になっています。（何やら説明されていたようですが、よく聞き取れませんでした。）
3. ツアーについての説明開始時間を教えてくれます。
4. ツアーについての説明（安全）は、プロジェクターで行われますが、外国人向けに字幕を付けてくれます。最初のオリエンテーションの最後に必要な人は、と問われるので、”Japanese”。（私は、聞き逃しました。）
5.プロジェクターでの説明後に、自分の乗るヘリコプターの座席位置が知らされます。
6.ツアー終了後、受付カウンターで当日のフライト画像（音声付き）のUSBメモリーを購入できます。40でした。

Kauai Heli Tour
投稿者: Alice, 2018/05/31I really enjoyed the aerial view of the island and Wayne was a superb pilot, very smooth and we didn’t feel the bumps at all. It’s a great way to see the island from up top including the crater, Napali coast, the valleys, mountains, and waterfalls. We even saw where the Rock is filming. I would certainly recommend!

Ok, but could have been better
投稿者: Cindy, 2018/05/26This was our second helicopter experience and a bit disappointing because our view from the back seat was limited and it was difficult to take pictures without obstructions in the way. Also, although the pilot was knowledgeable, he seemed to be terribly lacking in enthusiasm, making the presentation somewhat boring. To be fair, our first experience was in a “no doors” helicopter so we were able to enjoy a much better view. In addition, the pilot on our first trip took more time to show the attractions from both sides of the helicopter to ensure that everyone on the helicopter had the opportunity to get a good view of the main attractions. This was not the case with the 2nd trip (taken last week).

乗り物酔いには注意
投稿者: @@@, 2018/05/25カウアイ島は基本的に日本語が通用しません。こちらのツアーも同じで、ほとんど全てが英語で進みます。ただ、中学英語レベルができればある程度の説明はわかるし、単語もなんとなくわかるキーワードを拾って楽しむことができます。
送迎なしで自力で朝1番のフライトに行きましたが、遅れないように早めに着いたら営業自体が始まっていないから待てとちょっと怒られてしまいました。その後はどのスタッフもとても気さくで、日本人とわかるとゆっくり会話してくれました。
初めてのヘリコプター搭乗でしたが、離着陸はカウアイ島へ渡るハワイアン航空の方が揺れます（笑）。ただ、山肌沿いを進むためか上下する事もあって、乗り物酔いする人はあっという間にノックアウトです。酔い止めは必須です。
島をほとんど1周してくれて、普段見る事のできない景色を堪能できてとても有意義な1時間を過ごせました。

We were lucky enough to catch a break in the weather and see some sights which had no been accessible for 48hrs. I felt so lucky! A great flight is always subject to the weather. Worth every penny!
投稿者: Mike and Melinda, 2018/04/07The entire experience was awesome. Nice building at the helipad with merchandise and restrooms if you need them. The pre-flight instructions and guidance upon loading/unloading was great with a photo op post-flight in front of the helicopter. The pilot made us feel safe the entire time. I get motion sickness on boats and was a little worried but no issues at all (I took a ginger pill but not sure it was needed as it felt very steady). Take photos/videos on the ride but be sure to just appreciate it with your own eyes too because it’s really amazing! Don’t hesitate to go, it’s worth the extra money vs. other excursions. FYI - this was a review from a rainy/cloudy day...I can’t imagine what it must look like with a nice sunny/clear sky!

高い料金にみあう価値あり
投稿者: 熟年夫婦, 2018/03/05 料金は高いですが、それだけの価値がありました。パイロットが英語で行う解説は残念ながら日本人にはほとんど聞き取れません。しかし見える絶景には十分な価値がありました。眺望のすばらしさは他の人が書かれているので、私は他の人があまり書かれていないことをお知らせします。
参加当日は黒っぽい服がオススメです。白や黄色はヘリのガラスに反射して、カメラで撮った風景写真に自分の姿が写り込んでしまいます。黒っぽい服は反射が少ないので、写真が比較的にきれいに撮れます。
ヘリの座席は、前列のパイロットの左に２席と、後列が４席です。後列のうち窓側でなければ、眺望もあまりよくなく、良い写真も撮りにくいと思います。搭乗前の事務所で体重計測があり、ヘリの左右バランス重視で自分の座席が指定されますので、眺望や撮影重視の人は追加料金を払ってでも、前列のファーストクラスがオススメです。
当たり前のことですが、予約したからといって、遊覧飛行が保証されているわけでなく、天候が悪ければ飛行自体が中止されます。私たちも当初予約日に、ヘリ遊覧会社の事務所まで行きましたが、そこで悪天候によるキャンセルを告げられ、たまたま次の日に予定を入れていなかったので、翌日に予約変更することができました。もしかしたら他にも飛行キャンセルに遭遇して、予約変更できなかった人がいて、結果的にその人は体験しなかったがゆえに、体験談にそのような記述がされていないケースが少なからずあるのかもしれません。
このツアーには良いおみやげが準備されています。追加有料ですが、搭乗前にヘリの前で行う記念撮影写真と、パイロット席から撮影した当日の飛行の絶景を収録したＵＳＢを、飛行後に戻る事務所で買うことができます。記念写真と当日飛行絶景に、同社がハワイ各島で行うヘリ飛行観光のプロモーション風景動画がついて、７０ドルでした。

ホテルピックアップ〜チェックイン〜乗機前の説明〜搭乗〜ホテル送り、全てスムーズに過ぎました。
事前案内に無かったですが、記念写真、搭載カメラでの景色、我々の様子の動画のサービス(有料)もあり迷わず購入。
少し高いですが、ファーストクラス(前席独占)が絶対お勧め。

絶景でした
投稿者: 初めてのカウアイ島, 2018/02/11オフィスに集合し安全トレーニングを受講してから、ヘリポートに向かいます。カメラ等の小物以外は、荷物は小さなバッグなども含め全てロッカーに残しておく必要がありますので、大きな荷物は持ってこないほうがよいでしょう。参加当日は時折雨が降る生憎の天気でしたので心配しましたが、さほど揺れることもなく快適なフライトでした。もちろん個人差もあり妻は若干気持ち悪くなったと言っていましたので、心配であれば酔い止めの薬を用意することをお勧めします。ヘリコプターでしか近づくことのできない、険しい山肌を流れ落ちる滝や海岸線の切り立った崖など、大迫力の風景を間近で楽しむことができました。カウアイ島の大自然を短時間で堪能することができ大満足のアクティビティでした。ガイドは英語ですがゆっくりしゃべってくれます。

Good but...
投稿者: Jem, 2017/12/03Our helicopter adventure was good. A few things that could’ve been better was our pilot’s voice could be louder. It was hard to hear him at times. Also, at the end of our helicopter flight, we wanted to buy the USB video of our actual flight and photo but the person responsible for the USB forgot our video in the helicopter. My boyfriend and I wanted to buy both but we couldn’t. We were asked if we could return to the Sunshine Helicopters office in an hour but we couldn’t as we were flying out that day and our schedule was already tight. No other options were able to give us the USB video unless we were to pay shipping to Canada. That option didn’t even guarantee the USB getting delivered to us as it wouldn’t have a tracking number. It just sucked that we didn’t have the chance to get the USB video even when we really wanted to buy it.

間近に感じる「大自然」の荘厳さ

キングコング（リメイク）の美しいビーチなど、
パイロットさんが丁寧に説明＆旋回・接近してくださいました。
英語の説明も聞きやすく、フレンドリーな雰囲気。
1990年代にカウアイ島を襲ったハリケーンの傷跡は、まだあちこちに見られました。
スケールの大きさに圧倒される、大自然の偉大さに触れられる、
貴重な体験でした。
※手荷物をもって搭乗することはできません。
日本人には馴染めなくて、つい忘れがちなパイロットさんへのチップ。
チップ用の紙幣は、必ずご持参ください！！

カウアイ島ヘリで一周
投稿者: MR、M5, 2017/11/06リフエ空港へのピックアップが、30分も待たされて、ガッカリでしたが、空港に居たのに唯一の日本語が出来る、インフォメーションの方に大変お世話になりまして、ロコタイムもなんとか、我慢出来ましたが、そ後のヘリのフライトは、キャプテンの操縦も上手で、酔うどころか、ヘリでしか見えない古き大自然のハワイの原点が見れてとても満足でした。できれば、もう一周して欲しかったです。是非、英語解らなくても、ファーストクラスはおススメです。

投稿者: Chopper Steve, 2017/08/05Incredible. I've been to 40 countries and 6 continents and had countless adventure - I think this may be the most amazing thing I've ever done. If you're on the fence, go for it! Sell blood if you have to, you will not be sorry. Unless you don't do it, then you will realize in the twilight of your years something is missing from your life. Something you can't quite put your finger on - but I'm warning you now - it would be this trip. Give yourself a hand and go. Spectacular views - and I was in the middle seat. Window would have been nice, but it's great from the middle too.
