Unfortunately stop time at Shirakawa-go is not long enough for both observatory n walking around the village. Better go on public transport if you need more time there.

Time at Shirakawa-go is too short. Need at least 3 hours to walk around and wait for long line of bus to go to observatory area. Otherwise it is very rushy to do both observatory are and to walk around village. The rice making is unnecessary and the time could be used for Shirakawa-go.

Thank you on board our tour. we are very sorry that you felt time was too short because this tour has to visit Shirakawa-go and Takayama.
and there are too many tourists in Shirakawa-go, bucause new years holiday.
We hope you’ll have a good trip there, next time.
