NS-Documentation Center & Eagle‘s Nest (approx. 1 hour)Visit the NS-Documentation Center (admission not included). A special bus and an elevator tunneled straight through rock then brings you up to the Eagle‘s Nest (open by the middle of May), which was built by the Nazi party for Hitler‘s 50th birthday.

- The Eagle's Nest won't be opened before mid-May. Also in the event of bad weather conditions such as snow, ice or fog the Eagle's Nest will be closed. In this cases you will visit the salt mines instead.
