Lots of people, but the tour was interesting and the guide very enjoyable...quite a must when visiting Rome.

Our guide was excellent. It was terrific to bypass the super long line on the day we went. Learned so much from this tour and the sound quality was great. Meeting point was easy to find.

It would be hard to go to Vatican City and not get a tour of the museums and see the Sistine Chapel. Sadly, our tour of St. Peter's was cancelled due to a local event, but the remaining portions of the tour did not disappoint. The guide (David) was friendly, knowledgeable and very charming and funny. Seeing the lines outside the museums gave total justification for a skip the line tour, and that's not factoring in how enjoyable and informative the tour was.

This tour is an absolute must do in this beautiful city! We had the pleasure of having Patricia (in an Italian accent) as our guide. She was very pleasant and very knowledgable of Rome's history. Loved it!

The guide was perfect

I cannot recommend this tour enough, no way we would have gleaned all the amazing information and wee witty details that Annalise gave us with such enthusiasm and wit. She answered questions that I am sure she will have heard time and time again as if it was the first time she had ever been asked them. We loved the fact that by wearing the headphones we were able to not worry about falling behind too much. St Peters Basilica was part of the tour but as the Pope was ordaining Cardinals we were unable to go in with Annalise, she did however give us lots of information and we waited on after the tour and went in ourselves..still great not it would have been even better as part of the tour. 10 out of 10 Annalise

Great tour, our guide, Marina made it fun and gave us so much background and information - things we never would have discovered or known on our own. The sites are amazing and we would highly recommend.

Our guide (Salvatore) has answers to all your question plus and anormus amount of knowledge, good sense of humor, move well around the crow, keeping and eye on everybody. My husbad and i abslutelly recommed this tour. Manys thanks to Salvatore.

The tour was extremely informative and helped us negotiate our way round the large area of the Vatican City and the even larger crowds! Our guide Anna was very knowledgable and ensured that we did not get lost. My family felt that we got much more out of our visit by going with the tour and Anne ensured that despite the crowds our group always had a place to see what she was showing us. Comfort stops and sit-downs were factored in which was appreciated on the hot three hour walk. When outside, Anna also talked to us in the shade wherever possible, at times showing us something then taking us to a cooler spot to talk about it -again something we really appreciated. Being a history buff I loved all the dense information Anna gave but it might be too much for younger people. The headsets were a great idea and ensured that we heard everything. A brilliant tour with a brilliant guide. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you.

Vatican tour with City Discovery is an absolute must we will definitely be recommending and using in our future trips .We are planing another trip to Rome with friends and will be using City Discovery .Didn't want the tour to end the Lady who took us on the tour she told us to call her MME for short due to her real name and she was superb in her knowledge and character i think we dropped lucky enough said !SUPERB!

Great to miss the very long line at the entrance. Our guide was well informed and covered everything as we walked thru.

Our guide, who was an art student, gave us information we never would have gotten on our own. She told us interesting stories about the artists which led to better understanding of the art works. She was careful to make sure everyone was engaged-especially the children in the group. This was time and money well spent.

The guide Adonai was kind and answered all of questions we have done. It is one of the most important excursions for people which are interested in art and history.

Wonderful and enchanting. Our guide Francesca was great and gave us a precious lecture of the whole history and the significance of the rooms, statues, paintings, etc.. It was a great tour through the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel and Raphael's Rooms; we were delighted and would like to thank all the staff of CityDiscovery and again a special thanks to our guide Francesca!

Our tour leader was very informative and made sure our group stayed together and we didn't miss any of the important places, pieces of art or sculptures. She weaved a wonderful story from beginning to end on all the moments of wonder the Vatican's treasures held.
