Dressing Up
After check-in, your dressing will promptly begin in the dedicated dressing area. Our staff will efficiently assist you with putting on the juban (kimono undergarment) and tying the obi (kimono sash).
Hair Set *Optional
We will arrange a hairstyle that complements the yukata, such as braids or updos. We recommend getting your hair set to complete your yukata look.
*If you wish to have this service, please make a payment of 1,650 yen at the store on the day of your visit.
Choosing Accessories
Select the necessary accessories to match your yukata and place them in a matching drawstring bag. Your dressing is now complete.

Please return by 16:30. *If not returned by 16:45, a late fee of 1,100 yen per 30 minutes will be charged. *If returned after 17:00, the next day return fee will be 3,300 yen.

As soon as you exit the south exit (east side) of JR Uji Station, you will find "Rental Kimono Mai" on the 3rd floor of the FamilyMart building.

Children 12 years old and above can participate in this activity.

It's just a one-minute walk from JR Uji Station, making it easy to stop by before or after sightseeing. It's also conveniently within walking distance from Byodoin Temple's Phoenix Hall. You can rent bags for kimono, undergarments, and geta, so I didn't have to prepare anything myself.JR宇治駅を出て徒歩1分のところにあるので観光前や帰りに立ち寄りやすいです。平等院鳳凰堂からも徒歩圏内で便利です。 着物用の手提げ鞄、肌着、下駄も借りられるので何も自分で準備しなくてよかったです。
