Restrictions
- Note: This is a flexible-date ticket. Although you must select a calendar date during booking, your ticket is actually valid for ”90 days" from the date of purchase. Please ensure you can use it within this period. We also recommend checking the attraction's operating days and closing dates on its official website in advance.
- Once the date selected at the time of booking has passed, your voucher will no longer be available in My Page. If you plan to use the ticket after the selected date, please open the digital ticket from your voucher and save the URL of the page that opens (your digital ticket) before the selected date. On the day of use, please present your digital ticket using the saved URL.
- The one-way ticket is valid only for the direction selected at the time of purchase. It can be used from the time of activation until the end of operating hours on the same day. [A]
- The round-trip ticket includes one one-way ticket for the Sounzan direction and one for the Togendai direction. It can be used on the day of activation and the following day. However, each one-way ticket is valid only until the end of operating hours on the day it is activated. [B]

Other requirements
- If multiple tickets are purchased in a single transaction, they cannot be used separately and will all be activated at the same time. If you wish to use them individually on different occasions, please make separate purchases.
- Reservations can be made for up to 24 people, but they must be used by the same group and cannot be used individually. If you need to use the tickets separately, please purchase them individually.
- To use the voucher, open the link from your purchase email, click "Use," and show the screen to staff. A smartphone with internet access is required; printed copies or screenshots are invalid. If multiple tickets are bought together, they must be validated at the same time and cannot be used separately.
- For security, one-time password (OTP) authentication may be required. First, enter your email address and click send. Second, check your inbox for an OTP from the domain "@linktivity.co.jp", including the spam folder. Third, enter the code on the ticket screen and click confirm. This email address cannot be changed after registration.
- All ropeway tickets allow you to get off at any station along the route.
- Guests holding this ticket are requested to wait in line when boarding and present the ticket at the gate for inspection.
Additional notes
- Each gondola accommodates up to 18 passengers.
- The gondolas operate at approximately one-minute intervals.
- The travel time between each of the four Hakone Ropeway stations is approximately 10 minutes.
*Travel time may vary depending on congestion. - Operating Hours:
・February to November: 9:00 to 16:45 (Owakudani Station: 9:00 to 17:00)
・December to January: 9:00 to 16:15 (all stations)
*Service may be suspended due to bad weather or regular maintenance. - The Hakone Ropeway may be suspended without prior notice in the event of strong winds, lightning, approaching typhoons, or other adverse weather conditions.
- Bus operating hours:
Buses operate according to the operating hours of the Hakone Ropeway.
For details on operating hours, please check “Hakone Navi.” (https://www.hakonenavi.jp/hakone-ropeway/) - Substitute buses to and from Owakudani may be very crowded, so we recommend using other normally operating sections of the Hakone Ropeway when visiting Owakudani.
- Customers holding Hakone Freepass or other eligible transportation tickets may use the substitute bus.Customers without a valid ticket are requested to use the regular Izu Hakone Bus service.
