Traveling from Kanto to Fukuoka.
To enjoy Kyushu, I participated in this tour.
It was a small group tour with a few groups from Taiwan and just us, a single Japanese group, traveling in a minibus.
Our guide, Mr. Zhang, provided us with a thorough and fluent explanation in Japanese for our small group.
We were able to leisurely explore Kumamoto Castle.
Although we couldn't visit the crater of Mount Aso due to restrictions, he did his best and never gave up until the end.
He also shared many recommendations for shops and souvenirs in Fukuoka, making for a very enjoyable trip.
I would love to request him as a guide for other tours as well.

台湾の方数組と日本人は私達一組の少人数のツアーで小型バスでの旅でした。
ガイドして頂いた張さんは少数の私達の為に、流暢な日本語で丁寧に案内下さいました。
熊本城もゆっくり観光出来ました。
阿蘇山の火口は規制が解けず観光出来ませんでしたが、最後まで諦めず最善を尽くして下さいました。

The Kumamoto B one-day course has been changed, but the guidance from our tour conductor, Ms. Chen, was excellent in fluent Japanese 😊. During the Aso sightseeing, we were lucky to be able to visit the crater at the top! Ms. Chen's guidance was so good that all participants were able to keep to the meeting time! During a 10-day trip to Kyushu from Gunma, we participated in a tour where we had the pleasure of meeting our guide, Mr. Zhang, for the second time, as we had previously been on another tour with him! Mr. Zhang is very friendly, and my husband and I grew to love him so much that we hope to see him again on our next trip to Kyushu.
The tour took us to sightseeing spots in Kumamoto and Miyazaki, and although we walked a lot, the amazing views at the end of our efforts were worth it. Mr. Zhang was very kind, taking photos for us at scenic spots and recommending delicious meals.
I definitely want to join another tour guided by Mr. Zhang!

There were only the two of us who were Japanese, but our guide, Mr. Zhang, was very considerate, allowing us to participate in the tour with peace of mind. The weather that day was rainy, and we couldn't see Kusasenri due to the fog, and we also couldn't go to Nakadake, which was very disappointing. This was a tour I participated in during my trip from Gunma to Kyushu. There were few Japanese participants, but our guide, Ryu, was very fluent in Japanese and a fun person, which made me feel comfortable joining the tour.
At the photo spots, he took pictures for us and recommended great places to eat. We were able to visit tourist attractions that are usually hard to get to in just one day, making it a fantastic tour. Ryu was an amazing guide!!!
I would love to join another tour with Ryu as my guide!

It was an interesting guide (Taku) who could fluently switch between three languages and provided efficient advice. ☺️ Since the itinerary requires a quick pace, I recommend it for those who want a digest version. It might not be suitable for those who prefer a more in-depth experience. Also, the tour may be affected by the weather.

In the morning, it was easy to find the meeting place because the hotel was very close, and there was someone standing with a flag. Out of the seven people, only one was Japanese, while nearly thirty were of Chinese descent. However, the tour guide was very good at Japanese, kind, and made the tour a lot of fun. I highly recommend participating!
朝待ち合わせ場所のすぐ近くホテルに泊まって下に降りたら旗を持って立ってくれているのですぐわかります。７人だけ日本人で後の３０人近くは中国系の人でしたが添乗員さんはとても日本語が上手で親切でとても楽しいツアーになりました。

This was my first time participating in a bus tour alone. I knew that there would be many Chinese participants on this overseas tour, but there were delays due to some people arriving late or not showing up at all, which caused our departure to be quite late. However, since there were few Japanese participants (only two of us that day), the guide was attentive and kindly took photos at sightseeing spots and made sure to consider our seating arrangements.
I don't mind traveling alone, so I enjoyed the free time, and I am grateful to the driver for taking us to some truly wonderful tourist attractions despite the long drive. While announcements were primarily in Chinese and Korean, the guide also provided explanations in Japanese, so there were no inconveniences.
I brought my own lunch, but if I hadn't, the guide offered advice on where to buy food along the way, and we could also purchase items at cafes at the sightseeing spots within the time limit (eating was mostly done on the bus or while walking). The tourist sites were grand and rich in nature, but there were many stairs and slopes, and even though we traveled by bus, I ended up walking about 15,000 steps! It might require some stamina!
1人でのバスツアー参加自体初めてでした。
海外の方向けのツアーで、中国人が多いのは承知で行きましたがやはり遅刻されてきたり来なかったりでかなり出発は遅れました。
ただ日本人が少なかった(当日は2人でした)分、ガイドの方も気にかけてくださり観光名所でも写真を撮ってくださったり、席の配慮など、優しく声をかけてくださいました。
1人行動は嫌いじゃないので自由時間は楽しめましたし、とても素敵な観光名所に連れてってくださったのでロングドライブを頑張ってくださった運転手の方にも感謝しています。
中国語、韓国語のアナウンスが優先になりますが、ちゃんと日本語でも観光地の説明をしてくださったので不便なかったです。
昼食は持参しましたが、なければ道中のどこで買えばいいなどアドバイスもしてくださいますし、観光地のカフェも時間内なら購入できました。(食べるのはバスの中か歩きながらという感じでした)
観光地は壮大で自然豊かな場所ばかりなのでやはり階段、坂が多くバス移動なのに15000歩くらいは歩いてました。笑 体力は必要かもしれません！

It was a culturally rich bus tour, and it was reassuring that each individual was guided in their own language. The response from our guide, Lee, who was experienced in providing tours, was wonderful as he ensured we could efficiently sightsee and have lunch. Thanks to him changing the order of the sightseeing spots and running to secure our place, we were able to enter the restaurant for lunch with zero wait time (by the time we finished eating, the wait time was 60 minutes). At Shiraito Falls, we were the first to arrive right when it opened, allowing us to take videos and photos without any people around. Unlike tours in Japan, this one had a smaller group, making it easy to chat with our guide, Lee, and receive little tips, such as how to choose a good Hakata ramen restaurant. The tour ended around 4 to 5 PM, so I participated on the day I was heading back by Shinkansen. I had enough time to return to the hotel to pick up my luggage, eat some mizutaki in the station, and catch the Shinkansen.
国際色豊かなバスツアーでしたが、その国の言語で個々に案内してくれるので安心です。
効率よく観光したりランチがとれるようにと、案内に慣れているガイドのリーさんの対応が素敵です。
観光の順番を変えたり、場所取りに走ってくれたおかげでランチでは待ち時間０分で入店(食べ終わった頃には待ち時間6０分となっていました)
白糸の滝も開園すぐの一番乗りで人がいない状況で動画や写真が撮れました♪
日本のツアーと違い少人数なので、ガイドのリーさんと雑談もしやすく、美味しい博多ラーメンのお店選びのコツなど、プチ情報も貰えます。
ツアーの解散時間が16時～17時くらいと早いので、新幹線で帰路に着く日に参加しました。
ホテルに荷物を取りに戻り、駅中で水炊きも食べて新幹線に乗れるくらい時間に余裕ありました。

I had expected to walk quite a bit based on other people's experiences, but I was relieved to find that it wasn't as much as I imagined. However, there are definitely many stairs, which might be tough for older participants.
Since this is a tour aimed at international travelers, there were almost no Japanese people, but the content was still enjoyable. They made a lot of efforts to ensure no one was left behind. Thank you very much.
I was very satisfied with the pace of visiting the main tourist spots in Kumamoto and Miyazaki in a day! It would be quite challenging to do it on your own. I'm really glad I participated in this tour!

I visited Dazaifu, Yufuin, and Beppu. There were guests from China, Korea, and Japan, but the cheerful guide provided various explanations on the bus, which made everything clear. There were two tours available for Takachiho Gorge, one of which included a meal, but I chose the other tour that also visits a shrine.
Honestly, I didn't expect to walk so much at Takachiho Gorge, but I enjoyed the various scenery, and it was fantastic.
Since I am elderly, I appreciated the guide's thoughtful considerations.
I was able to complete the walk without any issues.
The next day and the day after, I experienced some muscle soreness, but I was able to enjoy a bus trip that I can only do now.

We departed from Hakata Station early in the morning, toured Kumamoto and Miyazaki, and returned to Hakata Station by 6 PM. Due to the schedule, we had to catch a flight at 7 PM, and when I informed the guide about this, they reacted with a bit of concern. However, they prepared recovery plans just in case, and the driver also worked hard to save time. Miraculously, we completed everything on time without any traffic jams.
While the sightseeing spots were great, I believe it was a good value for the cost. However, I recommend not cramming too much into the itinerary for the later part of the day! (laughs)

I was moved by the scenery of Takachiho on this tour, but what left the biggest impression on me was our female guide, Chen. She was bright, considerate towards everyone, and truly a wonderful guide.
I was the only Japanese participant. At the beginning, Chen approached me with a smile, saying, "Please feel free to ask anything," which made me feel at ease.
