It was a tour full of highlights. Thanks to Mei, our tour guide from Hong Kong, who spoke Chinese, Japanese, and English, I made unforgettable memories. Her explanations were interesting and thorough, and her wonderful personality really shone through, making the tour very satisfying. I would love to participate in another tour in a different area.

This was a tour I participated in during my trip from Gunma to Kyushu. There were few Japanese participants, but our guide, Ryu, was very fluent in Japanese and a fun person, which made me feel comfortable joining the tour.
At the photo spots, he took pictures for us and recommended great places to eat. We were able to visit tourist attractions that are usually hard to get to in just one day, making it a fantastic tour. Ryu was an amazing guide!!!
I would love to join another tour with Ryu as my guide!
群馬から九州旅行中に参加したツアーでした。日本人参加者は少なかったですが、ガイドのリュウさんは日本語もとても流暢で、面白い方で安心してツアーに参加できました。

In the morning, it was easy to find the meeting place because the hotel was very close, and there was someone standing with a flag. Out of the seven people, only one was Japanese, while nearly thirty were of Chinese descent. However, the tour guide was very good at Japanese, kind, and made the tour a lot of fun. I highly recommend participating!
朝待ち合わせ場所のすぐ近くホテルに泊まって下に降りたら旗を持って立ってくれているのですぐわかります。７人だけ日本人で後の３０人近くは中国系の人でしたが添乗員さんはとても日本語が上手で親切でとても楽しいツアーになりました。
是非参加して下さい。

I visited Dazaifu, Yufuin, and Beppu. There were guests from China, Korea, and Japan, but the cheerful guide provided various explanations on the bus, which made everything clear. The guide was someone I would love to meet again. The driver was also a very nice person. The other tourists were well-mannered, making for a quiet bus journey. I had a great experience using Veltra in Korea, so I decided to try it in Japan this time. It was very good. I will use it again somewhere else.

I participated with my daughter. I applied without realizing it was a tour for foreigners, and I was worried until the day of the event. When we arrived at the meeting place, the first person who spoke to us happened to be the guide for the bus we were supposed to take. Since he wasn't Japanese, I was a bit concerned, but my worries quickly disappeared. We were the only Japanese people, but he sat right next to us on the bus and explained various things in Japanese. He was very cheerful, and the conversation was enjoyable. The driver was also friendly, so we had a great time during the bus ride. Before I knew it, I forgot that we were the only Japanese among the foreigners. The tour content was fulfilling, and we were able to have a very enjoyable day. Thank you very much.

I participated alone this time, and I was the only Japanese person; there was one group from an English-speaking country, and the rest were participants of Chinese descent. The guide was truly amazing, accommodating all languages and providing proper attention to me as well. Everyone in the tour gathered earlier than the meeting time, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. It was great to be able to go around efficiently.

It was a meaningful day on a tour that efficiently covered a tourist spot located in a rather challenging area to reach on your own. The guide kindly and thoroughly explained everything in both Japanese and Chinese.
I heard that a popular souvenir from Yufuin is "Mayu," and I initially thought it referred to a decoration made from the cocoons produced by silkworms. However, it turned out to be "horse oil," and we were taken to a shop selling horse oil located within "Mokuami no Mori."
However, we spent quite a bit of time there, and since we were informed of the regrouping time in advance, some Japanese participants left midway, and the rest of us wandered around on our own. Yufuin isn't very large, so I don't think you'll get lost.
Although it was a full-day itinerary, the distance from Fukuoka to Oita takes up most of the travel time. Thanks to the driver's smooth driving, I was able to get plenty of sleep on the bus.
Due to the phonetic structure of the language, when people from China (Taiwan? Hong Kong?) start speaking all at once, it can often sound noisy to Japanese people. However, everyone I was with this time spoke very little, and the bus was consistently quiet, so I felt no stress at all.
By the way, I was surprised to see that all the places we visited were filled with foreign tourists! I really felt the impact of inbound tourism.

湯布院の人気のお土産が｢マユ｣と聞き、蚕が作る繭(まゆ)の飾りか何か？と思ったら、正しくは馬油(マーユ)で、『もくあみの杜』の中にある馬油のお店に案内されました。
ただ、そこで結構な時間を費やし、再集合時刻を先に通知されていたこともあって、日本人の参加者は途中で離脱し、あとは各自で適当に散策…。
湯布院はさほど広くないので迷子になることはないと思います。
終日の行程ですが、福岡から大分まではかなり距離があって移動時間が大半を占め、運転手さんの揺れが少ない運転のおかげで、バス車内ではたっぷり睡眠をとることができます。
言語発音構造上、中国(台湾？香港？)の方々が一斉に話し出すと、日本人にとっては騒がしく聞こえるケースが少なくないのですが、今回ご一緒した皆さんは口数が少なく、バスの中は始終とても静かで、全くストレスを感じませんでした。
それにしても、立ち寄った場所は全て、外国からの観光客ばかりでビックリ！

We participated as a group of friends from a remote island in Okinawa. At first, I had some travel anxieties, but the explanations online were good, and we quickly found the meeting place. The orange vests were great!
The guide was friendly, and the atmosphere on the bus was nice, making it a fun bus tour. The course was just right, allowing us to enjoy shopping at souvenir shops and hot spring eggs while exploring Dazaifu Tenmangu and Yufuin. I want to go again!

The day before, I came to Hakata from the Kanto region for a concert. Since I was there, I wanted to do some sightseeing! I considered taking the train to Yufuin and Beppu Onsen, but it would take a long time and the transfers were complicated. I found this tour and decided right away. I was also able to visit Dazaifu Tenmangu, which I hadn't planned on. Once I arrived at the location, I had almost complete freedom until the meeting time, so it was relaxing.

This time, I participated in a bus tour at my grandmother's request. It was rainy in the morning, but we thoroughly enjoyed Dazaifu Tenmangu, Yufuin, and Kamado Jigoku! The weather was great, and the course was good. Especially, our guide, Ryu, was wonderful; he was fluent and knowledgeable in Chinese, English, and Japanese. I was the only Japanese participant, but he explained everything diligently in all three languages at the same ratio. I think he might be a graduate student studying abroad, but he was very considerate towards me, the oldest participant, and I am grateful for that.

The weather was great on the day of our visit, and it was perfect for sightseeing without any troubles. In particular, the view from the mountaintop of the ropeway, overlooking Oita city and Beppu Bay, with the mountains of Oita visible in a 360-degree panorama, was breathtaking. I was able to visit the places I wanted to in a very efficient manner. In Yufuin, there was over two hours of free time, and although it was at my own expense, I enjoyed visiting hot springs and tasting local sake. I was the only Japanese person in the group, with about 80% being from China, but the guide was wonderful, providing guidance in Japanese, Chinese, and English. The driver was also very kind, helping with my luggage. I really appreciated all the help!

Lunch was scheduled in Yufuin, but most of the restaurants were closed. I wonder if it wasn't possible to check in advance that some places are closed on Wednesdays depending on the region? I had a hard time finding an open restaurant. Also, while the tour guide did communicate the meeting time, it was a bit difficult to understand, so I thought it would have been helpful if they could have displayed it on a placard inside the bus.

I participated in the tour from Mojiko Retro to Yamaguchi for two consecutive days. Both days, we had a wonderful female guide named Chou, who was very attentive and considerate. The driver was also kind and skilled, making me feel safe during the ride. I thought the tour content and time management were great. I was attracted to a day trip tour to Yufuin and Beppu within my limited travel schedule, so I decided to participate. I saw on the web and in reviews that it was a tour aimed at overseas visitors, which made me a bit anxious, but as many others mentioned, the guide was truly wonderful, and I was able to enjoy myself and feel at ease. When I participated, there were four people in our group, plus two Japanese participants, and the rest were mostly from China and Taiwan. Even though it was a weekday, it was a popular tour with nearly all the seats on the large bus filled.
The guidance was provided in Japanese, Chinese, and English, and since our seats were close to the guide, they engaged with us and were very attentive and cheerful. Unfortunately, the day we participated was rainy, so the view from the ropeway was almost nonexistent, but it was a well-packed tour that I enjoyed.
限られた旅行日程のなか、日帰りで湯布院・別府に行けるツアーに魅力を感じ、参加しました。Webや口コミをみて、海外の方向けのツアーと書いてあったので、少し不安もありましたが、皆さんも書いていたように、本当にガイドさんがすばらしく、とても楽しく、安心して過ごすことができました。参加した時は、私たちグループ4人と、+2名の日本人、あとはほぼ中国・台湾の方々で、平日でしたが大型バスの席が埋まるほどの人気ツアーでした。

参加した日は、あいにくの雨でロープウェイからの景色はほぼ皆無でしたが、色々凝縮されたツアーで楽しめました。

I think it would have been a waste of time for individuals to try to see everything on their own. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to tour efficiently. I expected it, but Saturday was very crowded. About 70% of the tour guests were from China, and the places we visited felt similar. It felt almost like traveling in China. The guide explained in Chinese, Japanese, and English. I couldn't understand the Chinese, but I consider that part of the fun of the tour.
When we took the Beppu Ropeway to the summit, there was still a lot of snow remaining. I might not have been able to go there on my own. The two guides were cheerful, and we had a very enjoyable time. I hope to meet them again somewhere next time, and I would love to participate again. Thank you very much.

Overall, the time spent at each sightseeing spot was often too long. The winter tour truly felt like a "cold endurance tour," and I was the first to return to the bus.
At Dazaifu Tenmangu, I entered the museum to escape the cold. Despite being famous, Yufuin had few things to see, so I took my time enjoying a meal to pass the time. It was snowing at the top of the ropeway, so I wished I had worn winter boots. Finally, I was able to warm up by soaking my feet in the foot bath at Kamado Jigoku.
I was disillusioned by the warm image of Kyushu, and strengthening my cold weather preparations was a point of reflection.
全体的に各観光地での見学時間が長すぎる事が多かったです。真冬の観光で本当に「寒さに耐えるツアー」となり、真っ先にバスに戻ってしまいました。

I chose this tour for my solo trip to Hakata. I was a bit anxious when I later found out that this tour was aimed at foreigners. However, when I mentioned at the meeting point that I only understood Japanese, they assured me it would be fine. The female guide, Lee, was very kind and attentive to me, the only Japanese participant, while explaining in Korean and Chinese.
