I had a great time. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but I had a great time.
This time, I traveled to Hokkaido with my sister. I really wanted to go to the Blue Pond, but there were only tours that included the zoo, so we participated in this one instead. The time spent at each stop was okay, but I was disappointed that we didn't have time to eat ice cream at Lake Shikotsu.

I participated in April.
We traveled from Noboribetsu to Muroran, then to Lake Toya and Lake Shikotsu before returning to Sapporo.
Later, I found out that it was about 380 kilometers. I don't think I could have managed it on my own with a rental car.

The guide was very pleasant and made eye contact with each of us while guiding, which gave me a sense of reassurance.

I hope the following information will be helpful for those who will participate in the future.

- There is no restroom on the bus.
All the stops have restrooms, but there can be long intervals of about an hour and a half, so if you need to use the restroom frequently, I recommend managing your fluid intake.

- There are no power outlets or USB ports.
We left at 8 AM and didn't return until 6 PM, so a mobile battery is essential.

- Paid option for the bear ranch.
The bear ranch is combined with Showa Shinzan, but it lasts less than 40 minutes, so personally, I think it wasn't necessary. However, it's recommended for those who want to see Hokkaido's brown bears up close.

Also, the space between the seats was narrower than I expected, and the person in front of me immediately reclined their seat fully, so my knees were constantly hitting the seat in front. I think this is partly a matter of luck, but the cramped seating was tough during the long journey.

However, considering the price, I was able to visit so many tourist spots, so in the end, I was very satisfied! When I come back to Hokkaido, I plan to request another course from this company.

後で調べたら約380キロほどありました。レンタカーではとても自力では回れなかったと思います。

ガイドさんもたいへん感じがよく、ひとりひとりアイコンタクトを取りながらご案内してくださったので安心感がありました。

以下の情報はこれから参加される方に幾らか参考になればと思います。

・車内にトイレがありません。
各下車スポットには全てトイレがあるのですが、間隔が長いところで1時間半ほどありますので、トイレが近い方は水分調整をおすすめします。

・コンセントやUSBポートはありません
朝8時に出て夕方6時まで帰ってきませんので、モバイルバッテリーは必須です。

・熊牧場の有料オプション
昭和新山とセットになっている熊牧場ですが、合わせて40分もありませんので個人的にはなくても良かったかなと思います。北海道のヒグマを間近でみたい方にはおすすめです。

あとはシートの間隔が思ったよりも狭く、しかも前の座席の人がすぐにフルで倒してきたためヒザが常に前席に当たっている状態でした。こればかりは運もあるかと思いますが、移動が長いため座席の狭さは身体に応えました。


ですがこのお値段でこれだけの観光地を回れましたから、最終的には大満足です！また北海道に来た際はこちらの会社の別コースもお願いしようと思います。

I had a day off during my business trip to Sapporo, and since I was in Hokkaido, I wanted to fully enjoy the great outdoors, so I found and joined this tour. I absolutely do not recommend using this tour company.

I have used various travel companies and sites before, but this was the worst experience.

Despite making a reservation for a single passenger one month before the departure date, I was assigned a seat on the day of the tour that was an unfavorable aisle seat where I couldn't see the scenery out of the window.

Other seats on the bus were available for single passengers without anyone sitting next to them, so I was really frustrated and upset.

As a result, I could hardly see the scenery that the guide was explaining, ruining the value of the trip.

A well-organized travel tour would consider changing seats during the itinerary to avoid any advantages or disadvantages, but there was none of that here.

If I had known I would get such a seat from the seating chart at the time of booking, I wouldn't have made the reservation. Moreover, this tour was already overpriced, lacking meals, activities, or souvenirs, and I was completely dissatisfied to be charged the same price as everyone else for such a seat.

To make matters worse, I had to sit next to an unfamiliar elderly woman of the opposite sex in a cramped seat, who repeatedly dozed off and leaned on me during the journey, which was infuriating.

The final straw was the female guide.

She talked incessantly, and it seemed like she wanted to show off her proficiency in Chinese. She would take about two minutes to explain something in Japanese, then spend three times as long repeating it in a high-pitched voice in Chinese, which was utterly exhausting.

Even during the time outside of guiding, she chatted in Chinese with inbound Chinese tourists on the bus, making me want to tell her to be quiet!

In addition to Chinese, she also repeated similar guidance in broken English for inbound guests, making me wonder if this was even a domestic tour in Japan.

If this is the kind of tour guide they have, I would prefer to have her assigned to a bus exclusively for inbound passengers.

It was so noisy that it doubled my fatigue.

I will never use a tour company that lacks such consideration again!

今までいろんな旅行会社、サイトのツアーを利用しましたが最低でした。

一名利用の予約を出発日の１ヶ月前にしたにも関わらず、当日のガイドから割り振られた座席が、車窓の景色が見えない不利な通路側。

バス内他の座席では隣席に人のない一名利用をさせていたので納得いかず本当に頭にきました。

おかげでガイドの案内する車窓の景色は殆ど見えず、旅の値打ちは台無し。

気の利いた旅行ツアーなら席を旅程中に入替え、有利不利などないように配慮しますがここはまるで無し。

こんな席だと予約時の座席表で分かれば予約などしませんでしたし、只でさえ食事もアクティビティも土産も何もつかない割高のツアーなのに、こんな席で全員同一の料金をとられたことに全く納得がいきません。

挙げ句に、狭い座席なのに隣席が見知らぬ年配女性と異性で、道中、居眠りを繰り返し何度も当方にもたれかかってくる始末で、怒鳴りたくなるほどでした。

極めつけは、添乗員の女性ガイドです。

とにかくよく喋ることこの上なく、しかも自らが中国語を堪能なことひけらかしたいのか、日本語で2分ほど話した内容を中国語でその3倍ほども時間をかけて延々と中国後で甲高くまくし立てて話すのにはほとほとうんざり。

ガイド案内以外の時間も、バス内のインバウンド中国人と中国語でお喋りする始末で、少しは黙ってろよ！と言いたくなりました。

中国語以外にも、カタコトの拙い英語でインバウンド客に同様のガイドを繰返すため、ここは日本の国内ツアーではないのか？と首をかしげたくなりました。

こういう添乗員ならば、いっそ、インバウンド乗客だけを乗せたバスに配置してもらいたい。

うるさすぎて疲れも倍加しました。

こんな配慮のかけらもないツアー会社は二度と利用などしません！

I participated alone, but I had a great time even as a solo traveler! It was really enjoyable not having to deal with the hassle of arranging trains and buses; I could just ride the bus and visit various places. There were many inbound customers, and indeed, there were few Japanese participants, but they provided guidance in Japanese, so I didn't encounter any issues, and I'm glad I signed up. I was scared to drive on the snowy roads in Hokkaido during winter, so I signed up for a tour. It was great not having to drive, and I could enjoy some drinks during breaks! The guide was from China and mentioned that he would mainly speak Chinese when excited, but he could also speak Japanese and English, so I learned a lot and had a fun trip. On the day I went, about half of the participants were Japanese, and the rest were from China and the Philippines. The weather was nice, and the scenery was beautiful, making it a wonderful memory.

冬の北海道で雪道の運転が怖かったので、ツアーを申し込みました。

I think it's best to be well-prepared for the cold.

It was a hectic 2-night, 3-day trip to Otaru and Sapporo, so I was looking for a simple tour that would allow us to get around efficiently. Unfortunately, on the 27th, there was terrible wind at Haneda, and one runway was unusable, causing our arrival in Sapporo to be delayed by about an hour and a half. We rushed in without even having lunch, keeping in touch by phone along the way. Given the rough start, I wasn't feeling very enthusiastic, but I was overwhelmed by the power of the Okurayama Jump Stadium. My perspective on ski jumping competitions on TV will definitely change from now on.

There was still snow, and since the dinner restaurant was far, I thought about skipping Mt. Moiwa, but I was captivated by the wonderful view from Sapporo Dome, which offers a panoramic view of the city. In just a short time, I was able to see an impressive view that I couldn't have accessed alone, and I was very satisfied.

On the way back, I was dropped off near the dinner location, for which I was grateful.

2泊3日の小樽、札幌あわただしい旅行でしたので、効率よく回れる簡単なツアーを探しておりました。あいにく２７日は羽田のものすごい風で滑走路が１本使えず、札幌到着が１時間半ほど遅れてしまいました。途中から電話で連絡を取りながら、昼も取らずに駆け込みました。出足からこんな具合でしたので、あまり気が乗りませんでしたが、大倉山ジャンプ場についてその迫力に圧倒されました。今後TVのジャンプ競技を見る目が違います。
雪も残っており、ディナーのお店が遠いので、羊山はいいかなと思っておりましたら、札幌ドーム、市内一望の素晴らしい景色に見とれました。わずかの時間でひとりでは行けない圧巻の景色を見ることができ、大満足でした。
帰りはディナーに近い場所に降ろしていただき、感謝でした。

While traveling, I enjoyed listening to the guide's stories about the local specialties and history... I was able to have a great time during the travel period. I went on March 18, but unfortunately, the penguin walk was over in the afternoon, so I couldn't see it, but I thoroughly enjoyed the zoo. Next time, I definitely want to visit in mid-winter when I can see the penguin walk for sure, and I would also like to go in different seasons! I would like to participate in this tour again at that time.

移動中もガイドさんのその土地の名産や歴史などの話を聞きながら…移動時間も楽しく過ごせました。
3月18日に行きましたが、残念ながら午後からのペンギンのお散歩は終了していて見る事は出来ませんでしたが動物園満喫出来ました。
次はペンギン散歩が確実に見れる真冬、そして違う季節にも行ってみたいです！
その時はまたこちらのツアーに参加したいと思います。

The guide was simply wonderful. I was impressed by how skillfully they switched between Japanese and Chinese, keeping both Japanese and inbound tourists engaged. They had a wealth of information, and although it wasn't my first time in Hokkaido, I learned many things I didn't know, making it a meaningful day. Unfortunately, at the end at Lake Shikotsu, two inbound guests did not return to the bus by the departure time. The guide made several trips back and forth between Lake Shikotsu and the bus, desperately searching for them, but ultimately, we couldn't make contact until the tour ended, leaving a somewhat unsatisfactory feeling about the tour. I hope the two of them are safe. Thank you to our guide, Onodera, and our driver, Hinata, for a fun tour.

First of all, even at the meeting time, neither the bus nor the tour guide arrived. I was worried along with a Japanese man who happened to be waiting with me, and when we contacted the company, there was no response. After waiting for a while, a Chinese man approached us, confirmed our names, and without any explanation, guided us to get on the Hiace. In silence, we picked up four more people at another meeting point and departed. The atmosphere inside the vehicle was heavy and silent. Unable to hold back, I asked the driver, who said he didn't understand Japanese well. At Jozankei Onsen, we were dropped off without any proper explanation, and I had no choice but to go to a nearby hotel to get a map. I at least wanted to know the location of the tourist information center. Overall, this cannot be called a day trip bus tour. While it was understandable that we ended up in a Hiace due to the small number of participants, I thought they should at least provide a guide who understands Japanese. In Otaru, there was no recommendation for shops or any guidance at all; we were just told where to meet and got off at a different location. The good thing about bus tours is that the guides show you famous places and introduce places to eat, allowing you to enjoy sightseeing even in unfamiliar areas. I regret participating in this tour, which is hard to call a bus tour. I believe it is standard to arrive before the meeting time and provide proper explanations, but opinions may vary, so this is just my personal impression.

I participated with my girlfriend. I was wondering whether to take the train from Sapporo, but the transfers were inconvenient and it would take quite a bit of time and money, so I chose the bus. This was the right choice. You might think it takes a long time, but it actually takes the same amount of time by train. It was inexpensive, and we could get off in the downtown area on the way back, making dinner reservations easy. We also got to see the much-anticipated penguin parade up close, which was really great.

This time, we were the only Japanese among all the participants, who were mostly from overseas. However, the tour guide was very considerate and kept us entertained throughout. The sightseeing content was great, and although it was very cold that day, we were fortunate with the weather, which was really nice. It's rare!

At the zoo, I was really moved to see the wolves, which I had wanted to see. The big cats were also very entertaining and engaging. The Shirahige Falls was a breathtaking sight that can only be seen in winter, and I think anyone going to Hokkaido should definitely see it. Lastly, the tour guide loved food and recommended some delicious restaurants, so we were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner. I plan to go a few more times this year, and I would love to go again then.

今回のアクティビティは海外の方ばかりで、日本人は私たちだけでした。しかし、添乗員の方が気を遣ってくれ、終始楽しませてくれました。観光内容はこの日はとても寒かったのですが、天候には恵まれ、とても良い天気でした。珍しいそうです！

I have been to Hokkaido more than ten times, but this was my first time participating in a day trip bus tour. I have been to Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya in the summer, but the winter scenery was breathtaking. The overall course setting was excellent, and both the driver and the guide were kind and attentive. The lunch was also great, and it was the best experience. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

I had a wonderful time enjoying the unusually warm weather for Hokkaido.

I was impressed by the clear waters of Lake Shikotsu and excited by the encounter with a herd of fawns, which allowed me to feel the richness of Hokkaido's nature.

Also, at Showa Shinzan and the Usuzan Ropeway, I lost track of time while exploring and unfortunately couldn't make it to the bear ranch.

The "mushroom soup" from the Mushroom Kingdom that the guide recommended was truly delicious, and the lunch was also very satisfying with its generous portions.

The three-day weekend coincided with the Sapporo Snow Festival, making everywhere bustling with activity. Foreign languages were flying around, and it felt like being in another country. About 20% of the bus tour guests were Japanese, while the rest were mostly Chinese. The bus guide was also Chinese, alternating between Japanese and Chinese for the announcements.

The highlight of our main destination, Asahiyama Zoo, was the King Penguin walk! When we arrived a little before the start time, we were guided by the staff to the end of the line. There was already a long queue, reminiscent of waiting for a star to make an appearance.

The group of a dozen penguins passed by in no time, and they were incredibly adorable. The polar bear was active, never staying still in the snow. We thoroughly enjoyed the snowy scenery at the subsequent sightseeing spots, making it a wonderful trip.

十数羽のペンギンの御一行はあっと言う間に通り過ぎましたが、とても愛らしかった。
ポーラーベアは雪の中で、ひと時もじっとしていなくてアクティブでした。
その後の観光地でも雪景色を存分に楽しみよい旅になりました。

I planned a trip with the purpose of attending the Sapporo Snow Festival, but after receiving advice from my son’s wife, who has experience living in Hokkaido, I quickly booked a tour.

The scale was smaller compared to the Snow Festival, but it's hard to express in words, so please check the photos. The journey included encounters with deer and sights like Lake Shikotsu, making the trip to the venue full of highlights.

It seems you can also get there using public transportation, but considering the cold and the thought of waiting in line, it was a great success to follow the advice and go with the tour. The guide was very friendly and introduced us to various attractions, making for a truly enjoyable time.

I had been interested in visiting the Upopoy facility for a while, but transportation costs were a barrier, so I hesitated. However, this time I was able to participate at a low price. Since it was winter, it wasn't crowded, and I could enjoy the visit. I wished I had a bit more time since my stay was short. Compared to the previous facility, it was much more fulfilling.
