I made a last-minute reservation at 9 PM the day before. It was amazing to go to the flat without any issues! There were six participants, and besides me, everyone was from Taiwan and China. The guide, who was only 30 years old, spoke English very well! He was attentive and engaged each participant in conversation, adjusting the pace as needed. There were some older participants, but he created an atmosphere where everyone cheered together, making it a fun three hours!

The guide had a wonderful smile! I’ll definitely request him again next time!

参加者は6人！私以外は台湾🇹🇼と中国🇨🇳の方でした。
ガイドのお兄さんは30歳と若いのに、英語も上手！気配りができて、参加者一人一人に話題を振って話したり、ペース調整をしてくれました。高齢の方も居ましたが、みんなで応援📣する雰囲気を作ってくれ、楽しい3時間となりました！

お兄さんは笑顔😊が素敵！次来る時もお兄さん指名で👍

This is a wildlife exploration tour in a park close to downtown Sapporo. We put on snowshoes and ventured into the snowy forest. Along the way, we saw the footprints of red foxes and the sight of Eurasian red squirrels dashing by, as well as heard the tapping of woodpeckers and the calls of the endangered black woodpecker. However, we were disappointed not to encounter the Ural owl, which we had hoped to see.

It seems that the encounter rate varies greatly depending on the year and season, so I would like to try again for a second chance.

札幌中心部から程近い公園での野生動物探索ツアーです。スノーシューを履いて雪の森へ。道中キタキツネの足跡やエゾリスが駆け抜けていく様子、木を叩くアカゲラ、天然記念物のクマゲラの鳴き声を聞くこともできました。ただし、期待していたエゾフクロウには会えず、、残念でした。
年や時期により遭遇率も大きい異なるようなので、またリベンジしたいと思います。

Even though it was close to the city, I was able to experience something extraordinary, and it was very enjoyable to reset my daily fatigue. The stories from the experienced guide were also fascinating, and even though I participated alone, I had no problems enjoying myself at all. I would like to join another tour, so I look forward to it again.

市街地から近いのに非日常を体験できて、日々の疲れがリセットされてとても楽しかったです。
熟練のガイドさんの話も興味深く、1人での参加でしたが全く問題なく満喫できました。
別のツアーにも参加してみたいので、またよろしくお願いします。

Seeing the drifting ice and ice falls for the first time was truly moving. It felt like a dream to be able to ride on the drifting ice. The guide was absolutely wonderful. During the trekking, they compacted the snow to ensure our safety and constantly checked in with us. They also shared very easy-to-understand information about the flora and fauna of Hokkaido and the drifting ice. Along the way, the soup they prepared was incredibly delicious! It was such a luxurious time in the great outdoors. Even someone in their late 50s like me felt completely safe participating. Thank you, Takki!

初めて見る流氷、氷瀑は本当に感動的でした。流氷に乗ることができたのも夢のようでした。
ガイドさんが何より素晴らしかったです。
トレッキングでは安全に進めるよう雪を固めて下さったり、常に声かけをして下さったり…また北海道の動植物、流氷の話しなどとても分かりやすかったです。
途中、用意して下さったスープがめちゃくちゃ美味しかった！大自然の中でなんとも贅沢な時間でした。
50代後半のワタシでも安心して参加することができました。

We participated in a three-hour snowshoe experience as a family for the first time. Following animal tracks and traces, we arrived at a spot where we could see the drifting ice below us—it was truly a magnificent view! We were blessed with good weather; it was warm, and the drifting ice was really wide and sparkling! The day before had bad weather, and the day before that, there was no drifting ice, so I really think we were lucky. The guide was also wonderful, and the conversation was enjoyable. We had fun discovering bear claw marks, pine trees eaten by flying squirrels, animal footprints, and the rare mushrooms known as monkey's seats while snowshoeing for the first time. The three hours flew by in no time. Other participants were also very satisfied! I'm really glad we participated. I still feel moved when I think about it!

初めてスノーシュー3時間体験に家族で参加しました。動物の足跡や痕跡たどりながらたどり着いたところは、眼下に流氷が見渡せる、それはそれは素晴らしい景色でした！お天気にも恵まれ、暖かく、流氷は本当に広く輝いていました！前日は悪天候、その前の日は流氷はなかったそうなので、本当にラッキーだったのだとは思います。ガイドの方も素敵な方で、お話も楽しかったです。林の中を熊の爪痕や、モモンガの食べた松、動物の足跡、珍しい猿の腰掛けのキノコなどを発見しながら、初めてのスノーシューを楽しみました。3時間があっという間に感じました。
他の参加者の方々も大満足されていました！
本当に参加してよかったです。今でも思い出すと感動します！！

It's amazing, the pure white Shiretoko. I'm really glad I could go trekking. I was able to see both the waterfalls and the drifting ice, which made me even more excited. Now, I really want to come back in early summer.

Since I participated alone, I was able to be quite flexible! The guide shared a lot of knowledge about the trees and wildlife along the way to and from the drifting ice, which was very educational and allowed me to truly appreciate the nature and grandeur of Hokkaido!

It was the best experience enjoying the snowy scenery of Hokkaido. The explanations about the plants and animals were easy to understand, and I created unforgettable memories by sliding down hills on a sled and lying in the snow—such an extraordinary experience! Above all, the guide seemed to be having a great time, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the activity as well. I had so much fun that I would love to have the same guide again if the opportunity arises.

北海道の雪景色を楽しめる最高の体験でした。植物や動物の解説も分かりやすく、そりで下り坂を滑ったり、雪で寝転んだり、非日常的で一生忘れられない思い出ができました!!なにより、ガイドの方が楽しまれている様子でこちらもリラックスしながら参加することができました。機会があったらまた同じ方にガイドしていただきたいと思うほど楽しかったです。

I participated in a three-hour snow trekking course. It was truly special to experience walking through a pristine, white snowfield that I could never have traversed on my own.

The wildlife I actually saw included birds and deer, but I was also carefully taught about the tracks and signs of animals like foxes, flying squirrels, and brown bears. Even though I couldn't see them, I strongly felt that they were living very close by.

In addition to talking about animals, the guide shared information about the region's history, nature conservation, the relationship between the forest and animals, and how humans have interacted with the environment. It made me realize once again how the natural environment of Shiretoko is built on a series of miracles and how important it is to protect it. The guide didn't just bombard us with knowledge; instead, they shared information in a way that was easy to understand, discussing points one by one.

When I mentioned the area where I currently live (Kansai), the guide, Ayano, told me about a book modeled after that region. I bought it as soon as I got home and read it. It was a wonderful book, and it has become one of my favorites. I fell in love with not only Shiretoko but also my own hometown all over again.

Ayano was a truly wonderful guide with abundant knowledge and a love for nature. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

3時間のスノートレッキングコースに参加しました。自力ではとても歩けないような、真っ白で手つかずの雪原を歩く体験ができて本当に特別でした。
実際に見られた野生動物は鳥や鹿でしたが、キツネやモモンガ、ヒグマなどの足跡や痕跡を丁寧に教えてもらえ、姿は見えなくても「すぐ近くで生活していること」を強く感じることができました。

動物の話だけでなく、地域の歴史や自然保護、森と動物の関係、人間がどう関わってきたかなども教えてくださり、知床の自然環境がいかに奇跡の重なりの上に成り立ち、守っていかなければならないものなのかをあらためて実感しました。知識を一方的にたくさん話すのではなく、ポイントごとにポツポツと話してくれるので、とても理解しやすかったです。

また、私が今住んでいる地域（関西）の話をしたところ、ガイドの綾野さんがその地域をモデルにした本を教えてくださり、帰ってすぐ購入して読みました。とても素敵な本で、大好きな本になりました。知床だけでなく自分の住んでいる場所も改めて大好きになりました。
豊富な知識と自然への愛を持った、本当に素敵なガイドさんでした。とても素敵な体験をありがとうございました。

Guide Taki was very kind, and we had very precious time with this tour.

It was amazing!
I participated with a friend who came from Fukuoka to enjoy some winter activities!
Even though it's close to the city center, we were able to fully enjoy the snowy mountains and nature of Hokkaido (we even saw a flock of Siberian chipmunks!). The guide was kind, attentive, and above all, a lot of fun! I would love to go to a different place with the same guide next time!
Also, it was really helpful that we could go without having to carry anything!

We were picked up at the hotel and drove to the park.
In the parking lot, we changed into the rented winter clothing, shoes, gloves, and hats, and put on our snowshoes.
We listened carefully in the snow, fell down, and slipped around.
The guide was incredibly entertaining, making it the best memory of the trip!
I think they guide each group or family separately, so you can experience it at your own pace.

公園の駐車場でレンタルした防寒着、靴、手袋、帽子に着替えスノーシューを装着。
雪の中で耳を澄ませたり、転んだり、滑ったり。
ガイドの方がとにかく楽しませてくださるので、旅一番の思い出になりました！
グループごと、家族ごとにガイドしてくださると思うので、それぞれのペースで体験できると思います。

天候は私たちの外出の日には理想的ではなく、激しい雪が降っていました。そのため、目的地は森の散策に変更されましたが、雪の冬に慣れていない人々にとっても素晴らしい体験でした。ガイドはフレンドリーで、道中に彼自身の体験を共有してくれました。全体的に、楽しい外出で、私たちは自然の中での時間を心から楽しみました。

The weather wasn’t ideal on the day of our outing, as it was snowing heavily. Hence our destination was changed to a walk through the forest, which was also a great experience—especially for those not accustomed to snowy winters. Our guide was friendly and shared his personal experiences along the way. Overall, it was a pleasant outing, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time in nature.

The weather looked nice, so I made a reservation the day before. I chose a plan that allowed me to borrow outerwear, a knit hat, gloves, and snow boots. On the day of the visit, I received a call about 10 minutes before arrival, and we headed to Nopporo Forest Park as planned. After arriving, I put on the outerwear and snowshoes over my clothes and we set off! I was comforted by the guide's gentle way of speaking, and I was able to see woodpeckers and Eurasian owls, and I got some wonderful photos taken, which made me very satisfied. Thank you very much. If there's another opportunity, I would like to meet a black woodpecker.

お天気が良さそうだったので、前日に予約を入れました。
上下のアウター、ニット帽、手袋、スノーブーツをお借りできるプランにしました。
当日は到着１０分くらい前にお電話をいただき、予定通り車で野幌森林公園へ。
到着後、着ている服の上から上下アウターやスノーシューを着用して出発！
ガイドさんの優しい話し方に癒され、キツツキやエゾフクロウも見られ、素敵な写真もとってもらって大満足でした。

I came to Asahiyama Memorial Park, which is less than a 30-minute drive from Sapporo, to experience snowshoeing for the first time. The guide was very good at storytelling and took great photos and videos. Snowshoeing was not difficult and was a wonderful gear to enjoy the snowy landscape. I was able to see a long-tailed tit from a distance, and I managed to capture it on video, although the image doesn't clearly show that it's a long-tailed tit. The weather was perfect, and it was a very enjoyable tour.

初めてのスノーシューを体験するために札幌市内から車で30分もかからない旭山記念公園に来ました。
ガイドさんはとてもお話が上手で、映える写真や動画もとって下さいました。
スノーシューは難しいことはなく、雪原を満喫するのに素晴らしいギアでした。
シマエナガも遠目に見ることができ、何とか動画に撮れていました。
残念ながらシマエナガだとわかる画像ではないですが。
天気は最高でとても楽しいツアーでした。

It was my first snowshoe experience. The weather was great, and our tour guide Hiroaki was a wonderful person. I was able to listen to various fascinating stories not only about snowshoeing but also about life and history in the snowy country. Unfortunately, I couldn't meet the Siberian jay or the Ezo red squirrel this time, but I still had a fantastic time. Asahiyama Memorial Park, which is very close to downtown Sapporo, is also enviable. The sushi restaurant you recommended on the way back was very delicious.

お天気にも恵まれ、ツアーガイドのhiroakiさんもとても素敵な方で、スノーシューだけでなく、雪国の生活、歴史等々さまざまなお話をとても興味深く聞くことができました。
残念ながら今回はシマエナガ、エゾリスに会うことはできませんでしたが、それにも増して楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
札幌中心部からとても近い場所にある旭山記念公園も羨ましいです。
帰路教えていただいたお寿司屋さんもとても美味しかったです。

We had a great time as a family. We enjoyed the beautiful snowy landscape while also receiving local information from our guide. It was wonderful that we had a private guide, which allowed our children to be a bit rowdy without any issues.

The weather was great, and I was able to see a Eurasian red squirrel! I couldn't see the long-tailed tit, but I enjoyed observing wild birds and making snow angels, interacting a lot with the snow! It became the best memory, and I would love to use this service again!

It was my first time walking on snow with snowshoes. Thanks to Ayano-san guiding us again after the last Shiretoko Five Lakes tour, my wife and I had a very enjoyable time without feeling the cold or fatigue.

スノーシューを履いて雪の上を歩くのは初めてでした。
前回の知床五湖ツアーに続き今回も綾野さんにガイドして頂いたおかげで寒さも疲れも感じることなく家内ともどもとても楽しいひと時を過ごさせて頂きました。

Walking through the deep snow on snowshoes felt like entering another world, and this was the most enjoyable part of our trip to Hokkaido. For my wife, who experienced snow for the first time, walking in the snowy mountains was a bit anxiety-inducing, but it turned into an unforgettable experience. The guide's assistance was also excellent.

After finishing with the snowshoes and returning to the car, I discovered that I had dropped my wallet and smartphone along the way. The guide kindly accompanied me to search the snowy path we had taken. In the end, both my smartphone and wallet returned from the snowy mountains.

深々と降る雪山を歩いたスノーシューは、別世界にきた感じて、僕たちの北海道旅行は、これが一番楽しかった。雪が初めての嫁にとっては、雪山を歩くのは不安はあったものの、それを忘れさせる程、感動の体験でした。ガイドさんの案内も最高。。
スノーシューが終わり、車🚗に戻って、私は、途中に財布👛、スマホ📱を落としたことが発覚、ガイドさんに、辿った雪道を探しに付き合っていただきました。結果、スマホ、財布も雪山から、帰ってきました。

This is a tour around the quiet Shiretoko Five Lakes. If you specify your size in advance for gloves and rain gear, they will lend them to you (included in the tour fee). Fortunately, I was the only one on the tour, and the weather was clear, making it a great snowshoeing experience.

静かな知床五湖を回るツアーです。手袋から雨具の上下をあらかじめサイズを指定しておけば貸してくれます。（ツアー料金に入っています）
たまたま、ツアーは1人で天気も晴れて、良いスノーシューツアーでした。

It was my first time in Shiretoko, and I had no experience with snowshoeing, but the guide's explanations were very thorough and easy to understand. It was a fulfilling experience that went by in no time. The guide's passion for nature and animals was evident, and I learned a lot as well. I would love to participate again in the summer.

初めての知床、スノーシューの経験も無い状態で参加させてもらいましたが、ガイドの方の説明がとても丁寧でわかりやすく、とても充実した、あっという間の時間でした。ガイドの方の自然や動物達に対する熱意が伝わってきて、こちらも沢山学ぶことができました。また夏に参加したいです。

I participated in mid-March, and it snowed heavily the night before, allowing us to enjoy snowshoeing in the fluffy fresh snow!

Led by an experienced guide, we walked through the park/forest, taking photos at picturesque spots and making snow angels. I learned a lot about the animals, trees, and plants in Asahiyama Memorial Park. We were lucky to find adorable red fox footprints and even spotted a long-tailed tit! I never expected to have such a wonderful outdoor experience so close to downtown Sapporo.

On the day of the event, the shuttle service to the hotel was very convenient, and if requested, we could also rent a full set of gear, including clothing and shoes. They even had shoes available in size 30 cm and larger sizes like XL for my partner!

Advice:
- In the world of white snow, the weather was excellent, and the sunglasses I brought were very helpful.
- Since I tend to get cold easily, I overdressed, which was a mistake. They provide warm outerwear for rent, and since there is a lot of physical activity, depending on the temperature that day, it might be good to wear something easy to take off and adjust while changing in the car before departure. Once you set off, it’s difficult to remove inner layers.
- Another thing I regret is not applying sunscreen or lip balm on my lips. My lips got sunburned and were painful for several days.

３月中旬に参加しましたが、前の晩からしっかりめに雪が降り、ふかふかの新雪の中でスノーシューイングを楽しむことができました！

経験豊富なガイドさんに連れられ公園/森の中を歩く中、映えスポットで写真撮影をしてくださったり、スノーエンジェルをつくったり。旭山記念公園にいる動物、木々や植物について教えて頂き大変勉強にもなりました。運良く可愛らしいキタキツネの足跡を見つけたり、シマエナガにも会えました！札幌の市街地からすぐの場所でこんなに素敵なアウトドア体験ができると思いませんでした。

当日はホテルへの送迎や、お願いをしておけばウェアやシューズも一式借りることができ大変便利でした。パートナー用に靴は３０cm、XLの大きいサイズでも借りることができました！

アドバイス：
・白銀の世界の中、天気が非常によく、持参していたサングラスがとても役に立った。
・寒がりなので厚着をしてしまい、失敗。レンタルは上下温かいアウターを用意してくださる＋運動量も多いので、当日の気温にもよると思うが出発前、車の中での着替えの際に脱ぎ着・調整しやすいものを着ておくと良いかもしれない。出発してしまうとインナーを脱ぐのは難しい。
・もう一つの反省は、唇にも日焼け止めかリップを塗っておくべきだったこと。唇だけ日焼けをしてしまい数日間痛かったです。

You walk on snowy paths wearing snowshoes. There are gentle ups and downs as you cross a small hill and enter the flatlands, but the pace is adjusted to match everyone's fitness levels. However, my 6-year-old child found it difficult to walk in the snowshoes and couldn't continue about 1 km from the return point, so I had to carry them. Unfortunately, we were left behind because there was another tour scheduled. Although there were other tourists, which helped us find our way back, I felt a bit anxious.

Walking on flat paths feels different in terms of fatigue, so if you're participating with small children, be prepared to carry them back to enjoy the experience. However, since you can find your way even without joining the tour, it might be a good idea to rent snowshoes at the Shiretoko Nature Center and enjoy a leisurely trek on your own.

スノーシューをはいて雪道を歩きます。
小高い丘を越えて平地にはいるため緩やかな高低がありますが、みなさんの
体力に合わせて進んでくれます。
しかし、子供が６歳でスノーシューが歩きにくく帰りの工程では残り１ｋｍくらいの所で子供が歩けなくなり抱っこして歩くも、次のツアーがあるからと置き去りにされてしまいました。
他の観光客がいたので帰り道はわかりましたが、少し不安が残りました。
平坦な道を歩くのとは多少疲労感が異なるため、小さい子供と一緒の方は抱っこして帰るくらいの覚悟で参加すればそれなりに楽しめます。
ただ、ツアーに参加しなくても行先はわかるので、知床自然センターでスノーシュー等を借りて個人でゆったりトレッキングを楽しむのも良いかもしれません。

Thanks to the guide's thorough explanations, I had a fun time for three and a half hours. There was blue sky, and although visibility was poor due to clouds, it cleared up quickly, allowing us to experience the rapidly changing mountain weather. The surface of Lake Kussharo reflecting the blue sky was incredibly beautiful. I walked along the ridge with excitement, and for the final summit attack, I crawled my way up. I also appreciate the guide for their polite responses to various questions from the time of booking until the day of the tour. I would like to take part again in the summer.

ガイドさんの丁寧な説明もあって３時間半楽しく過ごせました。青空があって、雲にかかって視界不良　すぐ晴れて　目まぐるしく変わる山の気候も体験できました。青空が写った屈斜路湖湖面は素晴らしく綺麗でした～。尾根沿いをドキドキして歩いて、最後の山頂アタックは這いつくばって登りました。また、申し込みから当日迄色々な質問に対して丁寧な回答頂き、ガイドさんにも感謝しています。今度は夏にお世話になりたいです

The hot air balloon experience in the snow country was a truly beautiful and wonderful experience! Thank you for using a drone to capture moments while we were on the ride.

The experience of walking to the Kamikoshiko Pond using snowshoes also offered a different view than usual, and it was fun to play in the snow while discussing various seasonal topics and animals.

In the end, you waved goodbye to us, which made me feel very warm inside. Thank you for your thoughtful attention! ✨

雪国での気球体験はとても美しく素晴らしい体験でした！
ドローンを使って、乗っている場面撮影してくださって、ありがとうございました。

スノーシューを使用して神の子池まで徒歩で行く体験もまた、普段とは違う景色があり、また色々な季節な話し、動物の話しなどしながら雪で遊びながらで楽しかったです。

I was taken care of by our guide, Taki. He explained how to wear snowshoes and the animal tracks very thoroughly. The drift ice and the waterfall were incredibly beautiful. Drinking coffee on the drift ice was a luxurious experience that I will never forget! Thank you very much!

We participated as a family! It was my wife's first time seeing the accumulating snow, and she was really excited and having fun! The kids were looking forward to observing animals and were delighted to see wild squirrels and various small birds! It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't see the Ezo owl, which we wanted to see the most. The guide who took us on the tour was very friendly and provided a lot of explanations, making it a really enjoyable experience! Thank you very much!

I was picked up at the north exit of Sapporo Station, and it took about 20 minutes by car to reach Sapporo Memorial Park.

If you make a paid reservation for a set of winter clothing in advance, you can borrow a hat, top and bottom wear, shoes, and gloves. However, unfortunately, it seems that this clothing set was left as is after the last customer used it. The inside of the shoes was wet. If you're concerned about this, it might be better to prepare your own.

You walk around the park wearing something like snowshoes. You climb up slopes and slide down them, and you can even fall backward in the snow. It was a plan that you can enjoy precisely because it's in the snow.

It seems unlikely that we will see the long-tailed tit. Everyone I asked in Sapporo said, "Basically, you can't see them." I was able to confirm a few birds in the park with the naked eye, but capturing them on camera is also quite difficult.

The tour guide took several photos for us, which you can receive via email or AirDrop if you have an iPhone.

自分のものを用意した方がいいかもしれません

かんじきのようなものを履き公園内を歩きます
坂道を登ったり、坂道を滑り降りたり
雪原で後ろに倒れたり
雪の中だからこそたのしめるプランでした

シマエナガには会えそうにありませんね
札幌の人、誰に聞いても「基本見れない」と
言われていました
公園内の鳥などは肉眼で数羽確認
カメラに収めることは
これもまた難しいですね

いただけます

ツアーガイドはとても親切でした。私たちは旅行全体をとても楽しみました。とても思い出に残る体験をさせていただきました。
