The Shiretoko national park is a beautiful place and is a must-go place for visitors to Hokkaido.

Our guide was very informative and patient which we really appreciate because of the numerous photo taking opportunities.

One advice for visitors is that it can get quite cold there even in June. So please be properly dressed. A pair of gloves would be useful if you plan on taking lots of photos.

On the day of the visit, I was surprised by the unusual heat for Hokkaido, but the coldness of the water in Lake Shikotsu and the Chitose River was actually refreshing.

What amazed me the most was the clarity of the water! It was a completely fresh experience compared to the view from land.

We floated down the Chitose River for about 200 to 300 meters, enjoying a leisurely time while learning about the plants on the shore and underwater.

After that, we paddled to Lake Shikotsu, which was also a great workout. Time flew by, and I found myself wanting to do it again.

当日は北海道らしからぬ暑さでどうなることかと思いましたが、支笏湖と千歳川の水の冷たさが逆に心地よかったです。
何より驚いたのが水の透明度！
陸上から見る景色とはまた違い、新鮮な感覚でした。
千歳川を200～300メートル下り、岸や水中の植物等の説明をしてもらいつつ、のんびりした時間を過ごせました。
その後は支笏湖までパドルを漕ぎ、いい運動にもなりました。
時間があっという間に過ぎてしまい、またやってみたいと思いました。

I had always wanted to try rafting, so even though I was alone, I joined other guests. The variations in the river's flow were fascinating. It was even more interesting with the unexpected incident of the boat breaking down halfway. I will definitely go again to experience that excitement! ♪( ´▽｀)

The staff were very accommodating and kindly taught us, making our first kayaking experience very enjoyable. I was surprised by the high transparency of Lake Shikotsu! Since we used clear kayaks, we could see beautifully underwater. We were also blessed with good weather, making it a wonderful experience.

スタッフの方々の対応も良く、親切に教えていただき、初めてのカヤックもとても順調に楽しむことができました。
支笏湖の透明度の高さにはびっくり！クリアカヤックなので、水の中もきれいに見えました。天候にも恵まれ、とてもいい体験ができました。

It was truly a fulfilling experience, and the afterglow of the tour was amazing; I had a lot of fun!

I understood why Shiretoko became a World Heritage site through the explanations of its ecosystem, the breathtaking views that need no explanation, and the extraordinary experience of exploring animal trails. Everything was impressive.

It was also an opportunity to learn the importance of "experiencing to remember." I would like to participate again in a different season!

Thanks to our knowledgeable and kind guide, we were able to discover deer and bear tracks (and droppings) that we wouldn't have noticed as amateurs! The guide was also well-versed in bird calls, making the forest feel completely different! I would love to join the winter snowshoe tour as well!

It's a course of about four hours, and the guide was extremely thorough in their explanations. They even made coffee for us on a cold day, which I really appreciated! I highly recommend it!

In the first half, we visited the Shiretoko Five Lakes, and in the second half, we took a path through the dense wilderness to see the tears of a man. The scenery was truly representative of Shiretoko, and I was very satisfied. The guide was incredibly thorough in sharing various insights, allowing us to understand the current situation of Shiretoko, which cannot be grasped just by looking at the surface. It made me think deeply. Thank you for such a meaningful time!

前半は知床五胡を、後半は男の涙を見に鬱蒼とした道無き道を行きました。まさに知床！といった景色が続き、とても満足行きました。ガイドさんも本当に丁寧にいろいろなことを教えて頂き、表面上で見るだけではわからない知床の現状も知ることができ、深く考えさせられました。
本当に有意義な時間をありがとうございました！

I went rafting for the first time this time, and it was really fun! The instructor was so lively that I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. Next, I want to experience the spring course by late April or mid-May.

I was really worried about whether beginners could paddle smoothly to the lake, but thanks to the careful instruction, we were able to paddle much better than we expected! Paddling on the bright blue lake while watching the fish was refreshing and amazing!!! I want to go again.

素人が湖まですいすいこげるのか、とても心配でしたが、丁寧に教えてくれたこともあって自分たちが思っている以上に上手にこぐことができました！

I participated on September 16th. In the morning, we visited the Shiretoko Five Lakes, and in the afternoon, we went trekking in the Shiretoko Forest.
At the Shiretoko Five Lakes, we were able to see bear footprints and claw marks, and we received detailed explanations about the plants. It was a very fulfilling trekking experience, as the explanations added so much more than just walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
The afternoon trek towards the cliffs was also enjoyable, as we followed paths that felt like animal trails, adding to the sense of adventure. Taking a break on the rocky area while gazing at the Sea of Okhotsk was incredibly refreshing.
Our guide was very pleasant, and I had a fun day. Thank you very much.

9/16に参加させていただきました。午前中は知床五湖、午後は知床の森トレッキングに行きました。
知床五湖ではヒグマの足跡や爪跡を見ることができ、植物の詳しい説明などを聞きました。ただ綺麗な景色を見て歩くだけよりも、説明していただくことでとても充実したトレッキングになりました。
午後の断崖絶壁を目指すトレッキングも、獣道のようなところを辿り、冒険気分で楽しめました。途中、オホーツク海を眺める岩場で休憩したのが大変気持ちよかったです。
とても感じの良いガイドさんで、楽しく1日過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。

This tour is recommended for those who find just visiting the five lakes insufficient. The guide provides in-depth explanations about the characteristics of plants, traces left by animals, and the unique environment of Shiretoko while taking you on a leisurely trek. Without hearing about things like the claw marks left by bears on tree trunks or the water plantain that has been dug up, you might walk past them without noticing. Additionally, they offer rentals for rubber boots and binoculars, so you can walk through muddy areas with confidence and observe birds as well. On the primeval forest course, I was able to see a white-tailed eagle through binoculars from the cliffs. Of course, the views of the sky, sea, and cliffs were amazing. I also encountered a mother deer and her fawn up close. The course itself is not too steep, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind. There were even elementary school children participating.

五湖だけでは物足りない方にお勧めなツアーです。　ガイドさんが、観光客では分からない植物の特徴や動物の残す痕跡、知床の風土といったことを踏まえ説明しながらじっくりトレッキングをしていきます。クマの爪痕が残る木の幹や根を掘り起こされた水芭蕉なんて説明を聞かないと知らずに歩き過ぎてしまいますよね。また、長靴や双眼鏡もレンタルしてくれるため、ぬかるみも安心して歩けますし、鳥などの観察もできます。原生林コースでは、岸壁から双眼鏡でしっかりオジロワシを観ましたよ。もちろん、空、海、崖の景色はサイコーでした。シカの親子にも間近で出会えました。コース自体、それ程険しくないので安心して楽しめます。小学生のお子さんも参加されてましたよ。

From elementary school students to grandmothers celebrating their sixtieth birthday, it must have been challenging for the big adults and the instructors. Everyone was very excited and delighted. It was fun.

小学生から還暦ばあば、大きい大人たちとインストラクターは大変だったでしょう。みんな大興奮、大喜びでした。楽しかった。

On the day, the wind was calm, and I was able to ride the kayak without any swaying. The bottom of the kayak was transparent, allowing us to see the riverbed and lakebed through the clear water. The guide was kind and taught us with great care, making it the best experience. It was a pity that it was drizzling, but I want to try again!

On August 16, three of us participated. We enjoyed the quiet great outdoors just about 30 minutes from downtown Sapporo. The atmosphere created by the guide staff was very enjoyable, and the kids were thrilled with the exciting rafting experience. A photographer also joined us, capturing many shots from angles that amateurs can't achieve. I'm really glad we participated!

8/16親子３人で参加。札幌中心街からほんの30分ほどで静かな大自然を満喫しました。ガイドスタッフの皆さんの雰囲気がとても楽しく、スリル満点のラフティングにも子供たちは大喜び。カメラマンも同船し 素人では撮れないアングルでたくさんのショットを。参加して本当によかった！

I was able to enjoy kayaking with peace of mind on a tour by a professional diving shop. Our family of four split into two kayaks. We leisurely paddled along the river and lake, seeing fish along the way and listening to our guide's stories. I was moved by how such a blissful and relaxing time could exist. The guide took photos at various points, and I was very happy to receive them later for free via AirDrop. I think this is a tour that people of all ages can enjoy, as there were small children participating as well. I have come to love kayaking.

本格的なダイビングショップによるツアーで、安心してカヤックを楽しむことができました。家族4人で２つの艇に分かれて乗りました。のんびりと川そして湖を船で進み、途中魚を見たりガイドの人の話を聞いたり、こんなにゆったりとした至福の時間があるんだ、と感動しました。ガイドの方が随所で写真を撮ってくださり、後でair dropで無料でいただけてとても嬉しかったです。小さいお子さんも参加されており、老若問わず楽しむことができるツアーだと思いました。カヤックが大好きになりました。

I visited during the Obon period in the third week of August. Unfortunately, due to continuous rain, I had to change my schedule over the phone, but the system was not processing properly, and there was no handover between the staff, resulting in duplicate communications from the administrative staff, which was disappointing.

On the day of the event, there were delays and troubles at the accommodation, and I realized I would arrive 10 minutes late at 9:40 for the 9:30 meeting at Lake Shikotsu. I called to inform them, but I was met with an intimidating response from the female staff member, who insisted that I hurry through the rainy mountain roads with unbelievable remarks. While I acknowledge that the lateness was my fault, I felt extremely uncomfortable with the way I was treated. (What would they do if I had an accident while rushing through the rain?)

I expressed my concerns about the intimidating response at the reception on the day of the event, and a young woman apologized. Although I did not expect it, they offered a discount on the tour fee (they said they would confirm with the representative and get back to me). The representative was present after the activity, but I did not receive any communication from them. There was no greeting either.

I enjoyed the activity, so I do not require any financial compensation, but the staff's poor response tarnished the opportunity to create precious memories with Hokkaido's beautiful nature. I urge the operating company to make improvements so that no one else feels like we did.

8月３週目のお盆時期に伺いました。
あいにくの降雨が続き、電話対応で日程を変更してもらいましたが、システムが処理が出来ていなかったり、担当者で引継ぎがされておりませんで事務担当の方から重複した連絡がありまして残念でした。
また当日、宿泊先で混雑とトラブルが重なり、9：30 支笏湖集合に対し9：40着の10分遅れになってしまうことが道中途中で判明したので連絡を入れたのですが、事務担当の女性から威圧的な対応を取られ、かつ雨天の山あいレンタカー道中を急いで来て下さいと信じられない言動があり、遅刻はこちらに非があるので強いことを言うべきでは無いのですが、対応に非常に不快な思いをしました。（降雨山中を急ぎスリップ事故でも起こしたらどう責任を取るのでしょうか。）

また当日の受付で上記の威圧的な対応に対しこちらの意見を申し、若い女性より謝罪を頂きました。
こちらは望んではいませんでしたが、ツアー代金のディスカウントの話が先方からありました（代表に確認して連絡するとのこと）アクティビティ終了後も代表の方もいらっしゃいましたが、お話も頂けておりません。※挨拶もありません。

アクティビティは楽しんだので金銭などの対応はいりませんが、あまりにもスタッフの対応が悪く、せっかくの北海道の貴重な自然との思い出を作る機会を汚しています。
二度と私達の様な気持ちにならない様にに催行会社の改善を求めます。

The weather was wonderful, and I had a fantastic experience. From the moment I made the reservation, my questions were answered quickly and kindly via email, which made me feel at ease. When I called because I didn't know how to get to the bus stop, they immediately came to pick me up, saying, "I'm on my way!" The instructor was friendly, and before I knew it, the time was up—I wanted to ride more. They also took photos for me, and I was very satisfied. Thank you for everything!

お天気に恵まれ、素晴らしい体験ができました。
予約時から質問にも、迅速かつ親切にメールで対応いただき安心できました。
またバス停から行き方がわからず電話をすると、今行きます！とすぐに迎えに来て下さいました。
インストラクターの方もフレンドリーで、あっという間に時間になってしまい、もっと乗りたいと思いました。

I participated on June 4th. Thanks to the snowmelt typical for this time of year, along with the heavy rain the day before and light rain on the day itself, the water level was quite high, allowing for some wild rafting fun. The Toyohira River is close to Sapporo, and our tour guide was a local pro. Even though we were a group of four older gentlemen, we had a great time despite the rain. Afterward, we visited the nearby Jozankei Onsen area, which was perfect for warming up our chilled bodies. I highly recommend it!

6月4日に参加しました。この時期ならではの雪解け水と、前日の大雨と当日の小雨で水かさ増し増し状態で、ワイルドなラフティングが楽しめました。豊平川は札幌からも近く、ツアーガイドさんも地元育ちのプロで、オジさん4人組でしたが、雨でも充分に楽しむことができました。終了後は近くに定山渓温泉街があり、冷えた体を温めるのに最高でした。おすすめです。

Everyone had a great time!! Both the guys made it very easy and extremely enjoyable. Was definitely a highlight of the trip for everyone and will 100% consider doing again next time we come. Thanks a lot Giro!!

Junjiro and Jin were our tour guides. They were very friendly and they set everything up for you! Prompt pick up, and they drop you off too. They also drive you to a small but great mom and pop restaurant where they tempura fry the wakasagi fish that you catch. Highly recommended!!!

I usually ski or snowboard, but it's been a while since I've had an experience playing in the snow, and it felt great to return to my childhood! I especially enjoyed riding the horse, the snow slide, and taking photos with the snow sculptures. I used this on the last day of my trip, and it was very convenient as it was close to the airport, plus there’s a free shuttle bus from Chitose. They also offer free luggage storage at the front desk, and I was relieved that I could rent shoes. (I think you can generally participate in most activities in your regular clothes.) The flow was smooth, and I was able to move around quickly, so I even had time to visit the outlet. I'm glad I decided to add the optional activities.

普段スキーやスノボーはするのですが、雪と遊ぶような体験をするのは久しぶりで、童心に戻って遊べました！とくに馬にのったのと、雪の滑り台と、雪像と写真を撮るのが楽しかったです。旅行最終日に利用しましたが、空港からも近く、千歳から無料のシャトルバスもあるため大変助かりました。また荷物もフロントで無料で預かってくれますし、靴はレンタルもできたので安心しました。(服は私服のままでも大体の活動は問題ないと思います。)回転もよく結構サクサク回れたので、空いた時間でアウトレットにもいけました。
思い切ってオプショナルつけてよかったと思ってます。

This is a perfect activity to enjoy during the free time before your flight from Chitose. Each activity takes a short amount of time, and depending on the crowd, you can complete everything in about one to two hours. On the day of my visit, there were many Asian tour groups, but the staff handled everything efficiently, ensuring a smooth experience. Depending on the weather, I recommend participating in ski wear or similar attire. If I had to suggest something, it would be great if the rides had a bit more power for added enjoyment, but they might be just right for women and children. The cost performance is good, making it a great recommendation for families looking to enjoy some snow play in a short amount of time.

千歳からのフライト前の空き時間に丁度良いアクティビティです。それぞれの所要時間は短く、混雑具合にもよりますが1時間から2時間程度ですべて回れます。当日はアジア系の団体客が多数来場していましたが、スタッフの方がてきぱき捌いておりスムーズに流れていました。天候にもよりますがスキーウエア等での参加がおすすめです。欲を言えば乗り物系にもう少し馬力があれば尚楽しめましたが、女性や子供には程よいかもしれません。コストパフォーマンスも良く短時間で雪遊びを楽しみたいご家族におすすめです。

The guide provided binoculars, allowing us to look through them with perfect focus and location, explaining in detail, "This is the Steller's sea eagle, and over here is the white-tailed eagle." There were times when we spotted five or six of them, but they blended into the trees, making them difficult for amateurs to find. Along the way, we also visited Oshinkoshin Falls, and I felt it was more economical than using a sightseeing taxi.

ガイドさん持参の双眼鏡で、ピシッと場所とピントが合った状態で覗かせてもらい、これがオオワシ、こっちがオジロワシ、などと詳しく説明して下さいました。
５．６羽止まっている時もありましたが、木に溶け込んでいるので、素人には見つけづらいかもしれません。
途中、通り道のオシンコシンの滝なども見に行くことができ、観光タクシーを利用するよりもお得だと思いました。

The snow activities I experienced this time were snow rafting, ATV riding, snowmobiling, and horseback riding on snow. Snow rafting involved riding in a boat being pulled on the snow by a snowmobile, and it was more thrilling than I expected! The ATV was a smaller single-rider buggy that allowed for five laps, and it was easy to operate and a lot of fun! The snowmobile was similar to a jet ski and easier to handle than the buggy, making it enjoyable to ride on bumpy paths! During the horseback riding on snow, I was able to take commemorative photos with a calm and cute horse, and the scenery while riding was breathtaking, showcasing the majestic landscapes of Hokkaido. I also got to see wild deer, which was very soothing! It was truly enjoyable and went by in a flash, leaving me very satisfied! I came here on this trip, but I definitely want to come back to Hokkaido and experience it again! It became an unforgettable experience! Thank you very much! (*^^*)

今回体験したスノーアクティビティはスノーラフティング ４輪バギー スノーモービル 雪上乗馬です。スノーラフティングはボートに乗って雪の上をスノーモービルで引っ張ってもらって滑るアクティビティで思ったよりスピード感があってよかったです♪４輪バギーは一人乗りの小さめのバギーで5周回れるという物でした♪操作も簡単で楽しくあっという間でした♪スノーモービルはジェットスキーのような物でバギーよりも操作が簡単ででこぼこの道での走行が楽しかったです♪雪上乗馬はおとなしくてかわいい馬との記念撮影ができて乗馬した時の風景が北海道の雄大な景色が広がっていて北海道らしさを感じられて感動しました♪野生の鹿も見れて癒されました♪本当に楽しくてあっという間で大満足でした♪今回旅行で来たのですが是非また北海道に来て体験したいと思いました♪忘れられないいい経験になりました♪ありがとうございました(*^^*)

On January 7th, I had a fantastic time playing in the snow at North Snowland Inn Chitose! I used a package plan that included snowmobiling and horseback riding in the snow. Even without a car, it was just a 10-minute taxi ride from JR Chitose Station, costing less than 1500 yen. The location of North Snowland Inn Chitose, just 15 minutes from the airport, is perfect. You can enjoy unlimited snow activities! It was a great deal that allowed us to enjoy snowmobiling and horseback riding.

Since it was a monitor plan where two people could play for the price of one adult, we added 2300 yen for our child, and the three of us had a great time for under 6000 yen. We played for about two hours. The weather was nice, and there were no crowds, which made it even more enjoyable.

However, the horseback riding felt a bit short, and I wished we could have walked a longer distance. The tire tubing was available multiple times, and my child was thrilled. But it seems that my son enjoyed the snowmobiling the most. I would love to use this place again if I have the chance.

ノース・スノーランドイン千歳で雪遊び三昧！スノーモービル・雪中乗馬などのセットプラン
をりようさせていただきました。車がなくてもJR千歳駅からタクシーで10分、千歳駅からタクシーで1500円かからずいけました。空港までは15分のノース・スノーランドイン千歳で、立地も文句なしです。雪遊びし放題！スノーモービルや雪中乗馬まで楽しめるお得なプランでした。
大人1人分の料金で二人遊べるお得なモニタープランだったので、子供2300円足して、家族三人で6000円かからずに遊べました。2時間ほどたっぷり遊べました。天候もよく混雑もなくたのしませてもらいました。

引馬が距離が短く物足りなさが残りました。
もう少し長い距離歩けたらよいかと思います。
タイヤチューブは何度もできて
子供は大喜びでした。
でも、やはりスノーモービルが息子は一番たのしかったようです。
また機会があったら利用したいと思います

While it's not impossible to reach Furepe Falls on our own, thanks to this tour, we learned so many things that we would never have noticed by ourselves. We were able to ask questions until we were satisfied about the ecology of the flora and fauna and the nature of Shiretoko, as there were no other participants, and time flew by. We also had the chance to see a majestic falcon spreading its wings against the backdrop of Furepe Falls, and after the tour, we were kindly taken to a spot where we could see wild bears catching salmon (we didn't see them that day, but when we tried again the next day, we were able to see them clearly—what an emotional experience!). It was worth much more than the price we paid. Thank you very much.

フレペの滝まで自分たちで行けないことはありませんが今回のツアーをお願いしたおかげで自分たちでは決して気がつくことはできないたくさんのことを教えていただけました。
動植物の生態や知床の自然のことなどほかの参加者はいないので納得いくまで質問もできあっという間に時間が過ぎました。
普段なかなか見られないというハヤブサがフレペの滝をバックに雄大に羽を広げる姿も見ることができ、また野生の熊が鮭をとっているところが見えるスポットにツアー後にご好意で連れて行ってくださったり（当日は見られませんでしたが翌日もう一度ｔｒｙしたらしっかりみれました、感動！）料金以上の価値がありました。ありがとうございました。

We booked this tour which was provided by Wokkys and really enjoyed it. Wokkys was very flexible and we were able to book a private tour for just the two of us and only spend as long as we wanted on the "lesson" before setting off down the river. Toshi, our guide and instructor, spoke good English and was extremely nice, as well as knowledgeable. Although we have both kayaked a little before, Toshi showed us some basic strokes and made sure we were comfortable with our kayaks before setting off. This was very helpful as I have never kayaked on a river with rapids before. Wokkys also provided everything we needed - drysuits, gloves, booties, helmet etc. Toshi and his colleague Buchi also took lots of photos of us and sent them later. It was a great day!
