I thought it was a place I would probably never visit on my own, so I signed up for a tour of the Shakotan Peninsula and Otaru. It was a stormy day, but the gate that prohibits women was open, and I was able to reach the cape.

Since there are ups and downs, it's essential to wear comfortable shoes, but the path is well-maintained, so it was possible to make the round trip in about an hour without rushing.

The scenery was absolutely stunning, and it offered a chance to experience something out of the ordinary. Both the guide and the driver were very kind. This was my second time participating in a Veltra tour (the first was abroad), and I felt very secure joining this one.

おそらく自分では行く事のない場所だと思い、積丹半島、小樽のツアーを申し込みました。暴風でしたが女人禁制の門は開いており岬まで行く事ができました。
アップダウンがあるので歩きやすい靴で行くのは必須ですが、道も整えられているので往復1時間あれば、急がずとも可能でした。
景色はとても素晴らしく非日常を体験できます。ガイドさんも運転士さんもとても親切でした。ベルトラのツアーは2回目の参加(以前は国外)ですが、とても安心して参加できます。

I arrived in Sapporo in the morning and thought about where to go for half a day, so I decided to join a bus tour for easier transportation.

Due to the unfortunate rainy and cloudy forecast, there was only one other group besides us, which made me feel a bit sorry for the driver and guide, but they were very kind and accommodating, which was great.

At the Okurayama Jump Stadium, the lift was stopped due to strong winds, but the jump platform was still quite impressive from below.

It was cold at the Moerenuma Park as well, but I enjoyed seeing a herd of wild deer in the grass and taking photos with the statue of Clark.

It was nice to move comfortably while listening to the announcements and trivia through the earphone guide.

午前に札幌着、半日どこを回ろうか考えて、移動が楽なバスツアーに参加することにしました。
あいにくの雨くもり予報のせいか、参加はうちのほかに1組だけとなんだか運転手さんやガイドさんには申し訳なかったですが、親切かつ感じのよい対応でとても良かったです。
大倉山ジャンプ場では強風でリフトは止まっていましたが、ジャンプ台は下からでもかなり迫力ありました。
羊ケ丘も寒かったですが、野生の鹿の群れが草むらにいたり、クラーク像と写真を撮ったり楽しく過ごしました。
イヤホンガイドでアナウンスやウンチクを聞きながら快適に移動でき良かったです。

I was able to efficiently visit the spots I wanted to see, and I am very satisfied. Also, the guide was very polite and provided a sense of security.

I was able to efficiently sightsee in just one day. I thought my stay in Otaru would be long, but it flew by with all the food sampling and souvenir shopping. The guide was also a very pleasant person, which was great.

1日で効率よく観光できました。小樽滞在時間が、長いかなと思ったけど食べ歩きしてお土産探しであっという間でした。ガイドさんもとても感じのいい方でよかったです。

The places I visited were all wonderful and without complaint, but I was disappointed with the inbound customers and the guide. Since they were inbound tourists, there were moments of irritation due to poor manners and differing values. I had acknowledged at the time of booking that it would be the same tour as the inbound group, but I regret not going with only Japanese people. That's my fault.

As for the guide, they were from overseas and trilingual. They had no issues with language and were a lovely person, but it seemed they lacked experience as a guide. Therefore, I think of them more as someone who assists rather than a full-fledged guide.

The content of the guiding was often disorganized, so I believe it would be better to decide in advance what to explain, memorize the script, and use a guiding method where they explain when they reach the relevant scene.

訪れた場所はどこも素敵で申し分なかったのですが、インバウンドのお客様とガイドさんにがっかりしました。
インバウンドなので、マナーの悪さや価値観の違いで、途中イラつくこともありました。申し込み時点でインバウンドと同じツアーになる事は書かれてあったので了承したのですが、やはり日本人だけで行動すればよかったと後悔しています、これは自分が悪いですね。
また、ガイドさんですが、海外出身でトライリンガルの方でした。言語も問題なく人柄も素敵な方だったのですが、どうもガイドの経験が浅いように見受けられました。なので、ガイドと言うよりも補助をしてくれる人程度のアテンドだと思います。
ガイドの内容がまとまりがないことが多かったので、あらかじめ何を解説するのか、セリフを決め、それを暗唱して、その場面に来たら説明するようなガイドの方法を取られたほうが良いかと思います。

I'm glad I could go to various places. The foot bath at Jozankei Onsen was especially nice. I bought a kappa towel there.

色々なところへ行けてよかったです。特に定山渓温泉の足湯が良かったです。河童のタオルをそこで買いました。

Driving the distance ourselves (from Jigokudani to Chikyu Misaki to Lake Toya to Lake Shikotsu) by renting a car would have been quite challenging, but simply riding the bus took us to one breathtaking spot after another, making it physically very easy. Although it was a long 10-hour trip, the time spent at each location was just right, allowing us to enjoy without getting bored.

Along the way, the guide shared interesting stories about Hokkaido's history, highlights of each spot, and recommended souvenirs, which enriched our knowledge in ways that individual travel wouldn't have. The bus seats were comfortable, and we could relax during the journey, so after returning, we were still energetic enough to enjoy dinner in Sapporo city that night.

​自分たちでレンタカーを借りてこの距離(地獄谷〜地球岬〜洞爺湖〜支笏湖)を運転するのはかなり大変ですが、バスに乗っているだけで次々と絶景スポットに連れて行ってくれるので、体力的にとても楽でした。10時間という長丁場ですが、各スポットの滞在時間も適切で、飽きることなく楽しめました。
道中、ガイドさんが北海道の歴史や各スポットの見どころ、おすすめのお土産などを楽しくお話ししてくださり、個人旅行では得られない知識が増えました。バスの座席も快適で、移動中はゆっくり休めるので、帰着後の夜も札幌市内で元気に夕食を楽しむことができました。

I was glad that I could efficiently visit various tourist spots. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, so I was able to enjoy sightseeing.

色々な観光地を効率的に回る事ができて良かったです。

You can visit many tourist spots in one day. Looking back, the selection of places to visit was appropriate. It's a busy tour, but I think the cost performance is particularly excellent. I am satisfied.

There were spots I wanted to explore more thoroughly, but that's unavoidable given the number of places we visited.

Also, I was pleased with the friendly assistance and appropriate guidance from our tour conductor, Mr. Yanagyu. Thank you for your hard work! ♪

一日で多くの観光スポットを回われます。後で振り返ると、訪問先の選定も適切でした。忙しいツアーですが、コストパフォーマンスは特に優れていると思います。満足しています。
じっくり見たいスポットもありましたが、これは訪問個所数との兼ね合いで、致し方ないです。
そして、添乗員の柳生さんのフレンドリーな対応と適切な案内も嬉しかったかったです。お疲れ様でした♪

It was an efficient tour, but unfortunately, the lift at Okurayama Jump Stadium was not operating due to strong winds. I felt like we had a bit of extra time. At Hitsujigaoka, I thought we didn't have enough time to visit because we had to wait in line to take photos in front of the Clark statue. The bus guide was kind and left a good impression.

Every year, our family of four would travel together, but this year, we visited with just three of us due to my father's passing. We brought a photo of my father and took a family tour. We visited the places we went to when he was healthy.

毎年家族四人で旅行してましたが、今年父親が永眠の為、3人で訪れました。

Although there were only a few Japanese participants, we were arranged to be close together, which made it easy to participate comfortably. Our tour guide, Mr. Yanagyu, was friendly and skillfully switched between Japanese and Chinese while providing a thorough guide. His attention to detail, such as recommending places for photos and food, was impressive. The driver was also pleasant and drove safely, allowing us to feel secure throughout the trip. We were able to efficiently visit the sightseeing spots, and I believe this tour is highly recommended for those visiting Hokkaido for the first time.

日本人の参加者は少数ではありましたが、近くにまとまるよう配慮されており、安心して参加できました。添乗員の柳生さんは気さくで、日本語と中国語を使い分けながら丁寧にガイドしてくださり、写真撮影や食べ物のおすすめなど細やかな気配りが印象的でした。運転手さんも感じが良く、安全運転で終始安心して過ごせました。観光地も効率よく回ることができ、初めて北海道を訪れる方にもおすすめできるツアーだと思います。

On April 29th, the main event was originally supposed to be the Asahiyama Zoo tour. However, due to an incident at the zoo, we had to quickly switch to a different tour. We visited the Bibai Art Museum, a petting farm, the Blue Pond, and Shirahige Falls, and I was very satisfied with the Furano curry we had for lunch in Biei. The tour guide, Mr. Yanagyu, was very cheerful, and the atmosphere in the bus was bright and lively. One downside was that we had planned to use a large bus, but ended up with a microbus, which made the long journey a bit tiring. This was my fifth or sixth time participating, and I hope to join the Asahiyama Zoo tour next year.

4月29日は本来は旭山動物園ツアーがメインでした、所が旭山動物園で事件が有り、急遽別のツアーになりました、美唄の美術館、ふれあい牧場、青い池、白ひげの滝、美瑛ので昼食の富良野カレーがとても満足でした、添乗員の柳生さんはとても明るくて車内はとても明るい雰囲気でした、ひとつ残念なのは当初大型バスの予定がマイクロバスになり長時間の移動に少し疲れました、今回で5回目か6回目の参加でしたが来年こそは旭山動物園ツアーに参加したいと思います。

In April, before the Golden Week, Hokkaido is in the maintenance period after winter, so many facilities were closed. I decided to join a bus tour. It was my first time visiting places like Lake Shikotsu, Lake Toya, and Cape Earth, and the tour guide provided detailed advice and explanations, making the experience enjoyable! The A course included a stroll through the Toya Onsen town, and the B course featured a ropeway. I was informed that depending on the situation, lunch time could be tight, so if you don't have any specific preferences, it would be a good idea to prepare sandwiches or bento in advance to enjoy a leisurely lunch. I chose the B course and took the ropeway (which had an additional fee), and the weather was nice and pleasant. At the top of the mountain, there were chairs and sofas, as well as a space to eat and drink, allowing for a relaxed picnic atmosphere. Additionally, there was a small discount at the Silo Observation Deck, so I was able to purchase souvenirs at a better price. Thank you for a wonderful day from early morning until evening!

GWに入る前の4月の北海道は、冬明けのメンテナンスの時期にあたるとのことで、いろいろな施設などがお休みだったりしたので、バスツアーに参加してみました。
支笏湖や洞爺湖、地球岬など初めて行ったのですが、添乗員さんがきめ細やかなアドバイスや解説をしてくださり、楽しく過ごせました！Aコースの洞爺湖温泉街散策もBコースのロープウェイも、場合によってはお昼時間がギリギリになるとのことだったので、特にこだわりがなければ、事前にサンドイッチやお弁当などを準備して持っていけば、ランチもゆっくりできると思います。今回、Bコースを選びロープウェイ（別料金）に乗りましたが、お天気も良く気持ちよかったです。見晴らしのいい山の上に椅子やソファなどもあり、飲食できるスペースもあるので、ピクニック気分でのんびりできました。また、サイロ展望台で少し割引があって、お土産などもちょっとお得に購入できました。朝早くから夕方までありがとうございました。

At first, I was a bit anxious about what kind of atmosphere the tour would have, but it turned out to be a wonderful and memorable experience. The guide was a young man who explained everything in Japanese, Chinese, and English, and he was very friendly and genuinely pleasant. The driver was also a young man, and he drove very well, ensuring a smooth ride. If I have the opportunity to participate in another tour, I would definitely want to request these two again. It became an unforgettable trip to Hokkaido. I am very grateful to them.

どんな雰囲気のツアーか最初は不安でしたが、とっても思い出に残るステキなツアーでした。
ガイドさんは若い男性で日本語、中国語、英語の3ヵ国語で説明してくれて、またとても気さくでほんとうに感じの良いかたでした。ドライバーのかたも若い男性でしたが、運転がとても上手で、スムーズに走行されていました。またツアーに参加する機会がありましたら是非ぜひこのお二人にお願いしたいです。忘れられない北海道旅行になりました。我非常感谢他们。

The round trip of over 5 hours by microbus was tough. It was my first time on a tour that involved such a long bus ride. The sculptures were completely boring, and the facility was empty with no other guests. We spent the longest time there, while the other facilities were only about 20 minutes each, so I think that place was unnecessary.

I would have given it one star, but the tour conductor was quick-witted and took us to a scenic spot that wasn't on the itinerary, so I gave it two stars instead.

マイクロバスでの往復5時間以上は辛かったです。そんなバスで回っているツアーは初めてでした。彫刻はまったくつまらないもので他のお客さんも居ないガラガラの施設でした。そこでの滞在時間が1番長く他の施設は20分程度だったのであの施設は要らないと思います。
星１つでもよかったのですがツアコンダクターの方が機転をきかしてくれてコースにない景色のよい所に案内してくれたので星2にしました。

I was able to see the stunning views of Cape Earth, Lake Toya, and Lake Shikotsu. The weather was great, and the tour guide provided service that exceeded expectations, which was very impressive. They recommended souvenirs and food at each sightseeing spot, as well as suggestions for Sapporo city and the airport. I would like to participate in another bus tour via a different route.

地球岬・洞爺湖・支笏湖の絶景を見る事ができました。天気も良く添乗員さんがガイドさん以上の対応で非常に良かったです。
各観光地でのお土産・食べ物などお薦めを教えてくれたり、札幌市内のお薦め・空港のお薦めまで教えて頂きました。
また別ルートのバスツアーに参加したいと思います。

I thought the schedule might be a bit tight, but once I arrived in Sapporo, there were so many places I wanted to visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The guide was also very kind and provided a wealth of information, making it a fun experience.

少々ハードなスケジュールかとも思いましたが、札幌にきたら、行っておきたいところばかりで、札幌を満喫しました。
ガイドの方も親切で、情報盛り沢山で楽しかったです。

As expected from the tourist city of Sapporo, even though day trip sightseeing buses are being discontinued in various places due to a shortage of drivers, I was impressed by the variety of courses available. It was efficient to visit various locations that are difficult to access with the limited JR services. Even on weekdays, the buses were full, with about 80% of the passengers being foreigners. There is a guide, but since they are busy with Japanese, English, and Chinese, it's difficult to provide sufficient information. I recommend checking sightseeing information on your mobile phone.

We came for a family trip after 10 years! Since it was a free trip, we signed up for a one-day bus tour. I was looking forward to it because last year we had a great time on a half-day tour, but I was surprised to find that we were the only Japanese family there 💦. My sons, aged 26 and 30, along with my husband, were really down about it, and we even talked about canceling right in front of the bus. But since we had already paid, I insisted we go, and when we got on the bus, there was a strong smell of perfume and body odor, which really put a damper on the start of the trip!

We were a bit loose with the meeting times, and I wasn't sure if it was because we didn't know the locations or what, but our tour guide, Mr. Tang, was on the phone every time 💦. We visited various places, and by the end, everyone had gone from being dissatisfied to satisfied, so that was good. Mr. Tang was kind and helpful.

It would be nice to know in advance that we were the only Japanese participants when signing up, but it seems like most of the tours are for foreigners, so I think I’ll do more research before participating in the future!

10年ぶりの家族旅行へ来ました！
自由な旅行だったので1日バスツアー申込しました。
昨年、半日のツアーに申し込みして良かったので楽しみにしてましたが‥日本人が私達家族だけでビックリしました💦
26歳と30歳の息子➕旦那もテンション下がりまくりでバスを目の前にしてやめようなんて話もしてました。
お金も払ってるから行くよと強制でバスに乗ったら香水や体臭の凄い匂いがしてかなりマイナスな気分でスタートしました！
あちこちの集合時間にルーズなんだか場所がわからなくなったかわからないけど‥ツアーガイドの唐君が毎回、電話してました💦
色々まわって最後にはみんな不満から満足に変わってたので良かったです。
ガイドの唐君は親切で良かったです。
申込時に日本人が私達だけとかわかると有難いですけど‥ほとんどが外国人のツアーみたいなのでこれからはよく調べて参加しようと思います！

I participated in a tour on April 17th. The Okurayama Jump Stadium was undergoing lift inspections, so I couldn't ride the lift and ended up with a lot of free time. At the Shiroi Koibito Park, the factory machines were also being inspected, so I couldn't see the candy-making process and just wandered around the shop. I wish the tour company had researched in advance to increase the number of stops or taken some measures. It seems like it's better to avoid tourism in Hokkaido during this season. It was quite difficult to find a tour, and I finally found this one.

4/17にツアーに参加しました。
大倉山ジャンプ競技場はリフト点検中でリフトに乗れず、時間を持て余ました。
白い恋人パークでは、これまた工場の機械点検中でお菓子の出来る様子見れず、
ショップをウロウロするだけでした。
ツアー会社は事前に調べて立ち寄り場所を増やすとか、何か対策して欲しかったです。
北海道のこの季節は観光は避けた方がよさそうです。　
なかなかツアーも無くやっと見つけたツアーでした。

It was almost a full-day tour, but I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and I was able to buy souvenirs at the Mushroom Kingdom, and the mushroom soup was also tasty. If you're looking for a tour to fully enjoy nature, this is definitely the one! 😊

ほぼ丸一日のツアーでしたが、とても満喫できました。食事も美味しく、きのこ王国ではお土産も買うことができ、きのこ汁も美味しかった☺️自然を満喫したいツアーなら間違いないです。

As a one-day tour, it seems to be quite cost-effective and is likely the most popular. I was lucky to be able to buy souvenirs with an 8% discount coupon.

Thank you, Mr. Yagyu, for all your thoughtful care and attention during the tour. It was a fun trip, and I don't think I could have visited so many places on my own. The 8% discount on souvenirs at the sightseeing spots and the silo observation deck was greatly appreciated. ☆ five stars. The only downside was the small 20-passenger jumping vehicle, but aside from that, it was a perfect score!

小型の20人乗りジャンプする車が残念でしたが。それを除けば100点満点とれました。

There were about 30 participants, and I was the only Japanese person. At the beginning, the guide (a Chinese man) mentioned that since there was only one Japanese participant, my seat on the bus would be right behind him, and I would be sitting alone (no one would sit next to me). However, one person from a family of seven from Vietnam ended up sitting next to me, which was quite noisy the whole time. The guide only provided explanations in English, covering the next destination, viewing time, and meeting time. Since he only conveyed this information, I declined the Japanese explanation, saying I understood English. I felt that the guide was not as enjoyable or knowledgeable as others have described.

Regarding the schedule, the initial viewing time at Hokkaido Shrine was supposed to be 50 minutes, but it was cut down to 30 minutes, which felt rushed. Yet, we spent a generous 90 minutes for lunch at the market. While others seemed to visit the shops guided by the guide, I wished they had adjusted the viewing times better if they could allocate that much time for lunch.

Additionally, this is a personal impression, but both the driver and the guide were wearing wrinkled sweatshirts, and the driver looked like he had just woken up with messy hair. There was a lack of cleanliness, and when I said "thank you" while getting off the bus, I was ignored. The driver was not the kind of person that others had described in their reviews.

The weather was very nice, and the Great Buddha was a wonderful sight. Lastly, I wish the entrance fee for the Great Buddha had been included in the tour. All 30 of us (and everyone else was a foreigner) had to pay for the entrance fee one by one at a single ticket machine. With such a short viewing time, this took even more time. Please consider this.

スケジュールについても最初の北海道神宮の見学時間が予定は50分だったのが30分で足早なんてものでない
それなのに昼食は市場でたっぷり90分
他の方々はガイドさんの案内されるお店に行かれたようですが
昼食にそれだけ時間を割けるなら、他の見学時間の調整をもう少しちゃんとして欲しかったです

あと、これは個人の感じ方もありますが
ドライバーさん、ガイドさん共によれよれのスウェット、ドライバーさんに至っては起きたばかりのようなボサボサの髪でした
清潔感もなく、バスを降りるときに「ありがとうございます」と声をかけても無視
このツアーに参加された方々が感想で書いていたようなドライバーさんではありませんでした

頭大仏の拝観料、ツアーに組み込んで欲しかった
30人が（しかも他は全員外国人）が1つの券売機で1人ずつ拝観料を支払います
見学時間短いのに、更に時間がかかります

About half of the participants were foreigners, but the female tour guide (who was Chinese) provided bilingual guidance that satisfied both Japanese and foreign guests, which was very good.

外国の方が半分くらいいらっしゃいましたが、添乗員の女性（中国の方）がバイリンガルで日本人、外国人が満足するような案内をしていただきとてもよかったです。

It was a tour that fulfilled my desire to do a lot of sightseeing, even though I was traveling alone. It was a full tour, and I sat next to the tour guide, Mr. Yagyu, who was very kind and made it enjoyable.
