I was able to visit Shirakawa-go, which I had wanted to go to for a long time. Unfortunately, there was little snow, but I was able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. The tour was also smooth. I made a mistake with the lunch time, and the guide kindly came to find me while I was looking for it. I apologize for the trouble I caused. Thank you very much.

I applied two days ago.
The next morning, I received an email confirming the arrangements.
On the bus, the guide shared information about Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go while I dozed off, gathering information.
It was a chilly day with rain. During our free time in Shirakawa-go, I warmed up by soaking in a hot spring (it was convenient since it was our lunch spot; the bathing fee was 600 yen and the towel was 150 yen).
I think the time allocation was just right.
In Gokayama, we only visited the Ainokura village, but I was able to stroll quietly through the village.
The guide also provided explanations about other villages from the bus window, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any prior research.

時間配分も丁度いいとおもいます
五箇山では相倉集落のみですが、静かに集落を散歩することが出来ました
車窓からほかの集落の説明もしていただき、下調べなしで楽しめました

The bus driver, tour guide, and interpreter were all very pleasant, making for an enjoyable trip. The free time for exploration was just right, and the hand-made rice cracker experience was fun as well. If there's another opportunity, I would love to do it again.

The weather was wonderful, and I walked around the Gassho-zukuri village. Shirakawa-go and Gokayama each have their own charm, and I was satisfied to be able to visit both in one day. The tour guide provided information in English after Japanese, and it was so wonderful that I was captivated. The driver was also very nice, making it a fun trip.

I participated with friends from China in Singapore. I decided to join a day trip from Kanazawa the day before the tour, and the reservation process was easy and straightforward. I initially planned to go by bus on my own, but the morning and evening reservations were already full. The tour had 40% Japanese and 60% foreigners, with both Japanese and English guides, and it was extremely enjoyable. The small group created a friendly atmosphere that was fantastic. The guidance on how to explore Shirakawa-go and Gokayama was clear and easy to understand!!! The guide and driver from Kanazawa created a great atmosphere, and their desire to make sure everyone had a good time was evident. I made wonderful memories with my friends. Thank you very much!!!

I participated with my middle and high school children. While enjoying the scenery along the way, the guide kindly shared stories about the area, highlights of the spots we were heading to, and how to get around. We were able to enjoy our free time at a leisurely pace. The guide's interesting stories kept the children engaged and listening seriously.
The lunch was plentiful and very delicious. Despite having eaten pork buns, croquettes, and dumplings, the children finished everything. The hands-on experience of making senbei was also well-received.
I usually travel by car, and this was my first bus tour, but I felt like I could experience the land more leisurely than on my usual trips. I was delighted by the scenery of Shirakawa-go, which I had wanted to visit for many years.
The guide, interpreter, and driver were all warm and friendly, which made for a very pleasant experience. Although the weather was unfortunately rainy at times, thanks to the staff, I was able to enjoy myself thoroughly. Bus tours are great! I would like to use them again.
中高生の子供と参加しました。道中景色を見ながら、この地方の話、これから向かうスポットの見所、回り方をガイドさんが丁寧に話して下さり、自由行動もゆっくり楽しむことができました。ガイドさんが興味深いお話を上手にして下さるので、子供達も真剣に聞いていました。

普段車での旅行で、バスツアーは初めてだったのですが、いつもの旅行より、ゆったりと土地を感じられた気がします。長年訪ねたかった白川郷、景色にほっこりとしました。
ガイドさん、通訳さん、運転手さん、温かく声をかけて下さり、とても気持ちが良かったです。あいにくの雨が降ったり止んだりの天気でしたが、スタッフの方々のおかげで、十分楽しめました。バスツアーいいですね。また利用したいと思いました。

I enjoyed this tour during my stay in Kanazawa. We were able to efficiently visit Shirakawa-go and Takayama. The time allocation was just right, with plenty of free time to explore the highlights at my own pace. The driver and guides were also very pleasant, and I had a wonderful time. I participated on April 3rd, and after an unusual snowfall, Shirakawa-go was beautifully covered in snow.

I was satisfied that I could visit World Heritage sites without wasting time. The advice on highlights and routes was also helpful. The lunch spot and the rice cracker shop had friendly service, making for a pleasant dining and experience! In the morning, we gathered at the west exit of Kanazawa Station, but there were no signs, so I wished they had something like a whiteboard to guide us.
時間の無駄なく世界遺産を巡ることが出来て満足です。
見所や順路のアドバイスも参考になりました。
ランチのお店もお煎餅のお店も、対応が明るくて気持ち良く食事や体験ができました！

At the end of March, it was a bit early for cherry blossoms, and Shirakawa-go had only a little snow left, so I didn't have high expectations. However, there were guests from abroad on the tour, and the tour guide provided explanations in both English and Japanese. We enjoyed stories about history, local anecdotes, and personal experiences from the guide, making the bus ride quite enjoyable. The lunch was also warm and welcoming, and I was very satisfied. I would definitely like to participate again if the opportunity arises.
３月末で桜には少し早いし、雪も残雪程度の白川郷でしたので、期待はあまりしていなかったのですが、ツアーのお客さんには外国からの方もいて、添乗員さんは英語と日本語の２か国語で説明してくれました。
歴史の話や地元ならではの話、また添乗員さんが個人的に体験した話など、バスの中でも十分楽しめました。
昼食も温かいもてなしをうけ、大満足でした。

I found this activity while searching online for things to do in Kanazawa. A local guide accompanied us, which was very helpful for our free exploration. We had plenty of time to stroll around and thoroughly enjoy the sights. It was great that they pointed out photo spots. We also made it back in time for the Thunderbird, allowing us to enjoy the World Heritage sites.

I participated with three friends.
The weather was great on the day of the tour, which included about 20 people, including foreigners. The guides were very kind, and the information they shared on the bus was very interesting, making the journey enjoyable.
Shirakawa-go and Gokayama Sakaura still had some snow, creating a beautiful and charming landscape. We were able to leisurely explore by climbing the observation deck and visiting souvenir shops. I wasn't expecting much from the lunch (since it was included in the tour), but I was surprised! It was delicious and very filling.
The hand-baked rice cracker experience was also fun.
Thanks to the guides, it truly became a wonderful day. Thank you very much.

当日は天気にも恵まれ、外国の方々も含む20名ほどのツアーでした。ガイドの方々はとても親切で、バスの中で教えて頂く情報も大変面白く、移動中も楽しく過ごせました。
白川郷や五箇山相倉はまだ雪も残っていて、風情あるとても素敵な景色でした。展望台に登ったりお土産やさんに寄ったり、のんびり散策できました。昼食は(ツアーに入ってる食事だし...)と特に期待していなかったのですがビックリ！美味しくボリュームたっぷりでお腹いっぱいになりました。
手焼きせんべい体験も楽しかったです。
ガイドしてくださる方々のお陰で本当に楽しい一日になりました。ありがとうございました。

I wanted to efficiently travel to Shirakawa-go from Kanazawa in a limited amount of time, so I joined a tour. The bus seats were quite spacious, and perhaps because it was a weekday, the bus was not crowded at all, making it comfortable.
I think it was a great deal since we could visit not only Shirakawa-go but also Takayama. As we approached each destination, the staff explained the highlights and recommendations, which was very helpful. The lunch I had in Shirakawa-go was delicious, and I was also able to enjoy a hot spring. Thanks to this, it turned out to be a fulfilling trip.
金沢から時間がない中、効率的に白川郷まで行きたいと思いツアーに参加しました。バスの座席もかなりゆったりした作りでしたが平日だったせいかバスはかなり余裕があり、快適でした。
白川郷だけでなく、飛騨高山にも行けてお得だと思います。それぞれ目的地に近付くと、スタッフの方が見所等オススメを説明してくれて、助かりました。白川郷で食べた昼食も美味しかったし、温泉にも入れました。おかげで充実した旅になりました。

Even though it was just one day, it was packed with activities and felt fulfilling. Since there was mostly free time, I think it's appealing to be able to go wherever you like. When I went, there were only a few people, which allowed me to get closer to the guide. The atmosphere was homey, and I was able to relax and enjoy myself.

I visited at the beginning of March.
Due to the mild winter, the snow had already melted, so I couldn't see the gassho-zukuri villages covered in snow. However, I was able to walk the winter-closed trails, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful scenery of both Shirakawa-go and Gokayama!
The free exploration time was set generously, allowing me to thoroughly see the entire village and take photos at a leisurely pace.
Since we traveled by bus, I could also enjoy some local sake during the exploration, making it a very satisfying day. (*^^*)
3月始めに行きました。
暖冬で雪が既に溶けてしまっていて、雪に屋根をおおわれた合掌造り集落は見られませんでしたが、かわりに冬期閉鎖の遊歩道も歩けたので、白川郷と五箇山の両方で、集落全景の美しい風景を堪能出来ました！
自由散策は、集落を全てくまなく見ても余裕の時間設定で、写真もゆっくりと撮れました。
バス移動なので散策中に地元のお酒も楽しめるし、大満足の一日となりました。(*^^*)

I was looking forward to the snowy Shirakawa-go, but it was disappointing that there was little snow due to the warm winter. However, I had a great trip thanks to the guide. The only downside was that the bus was a microbus, which felt a bit cramped.

Although it was February, there was almost no snow, so we couldn't see that snowy landscape, but the lunch was delicious, and the hand-baked rice cracker experience was fun. The tour guide, the interpreter who was with us, and the driver all provided very pleasant service.
2月ながらも雪はほぼ無く、あの雪景色は見られませんでしたが、昼食も美味しく、手焼き煎餅体験も楽しかったです。

I participated from an area not used to snow, but I had a great time!
The bus seats were assigned in advance, so we could sit with our group. The guide didn't talk the whole time, which allowed us to take naps and enjoy the scenery without feeling pressured. Although the bus didn't have a restroom, there were toilet breaks, which was reassuring.
There were rentals for rubber boots at Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, but I joined in snow boots. Since there was quite a bit of snow, I think snow boots are a safer choice during the snowy season.
There was more than enough time at the location, so we could explore at a leisurely pace. At Shirakawa-go, there was a hot spring, and since we had extra time, I decided to take a dip.
It was more fun than I imagined, so I definitely want to participate again!

バスの席も事前に決まっていてグループで座れるし
ガイドの方もずっとお話されてるわけではないので
仮眠をとったり景色を眺めたり気を使わずに過ごせました。
バスにお手洗いはついてませんが、トイレ休憩があったので安心でした。
白川郷も五箇山も長靴の貸出がありましたが、スノーブーツで参加しました。結構積もっていたので、雪の時期はスノーブーツが無難かなと思います。
現地での時間は十分すぎるほどあるので、ゆっくり回ることができ
白川郷では、温泉があり時間が余ったので入りました。
想像以上に楽しかったのでまたぜひ参加したいです！

Shirakawa-go and Gokayama each have their own unique characteristics, and I was satisfied as it met my expectations. However, there were some issues: 1) The Suganuma area was passed by the bus, but since it is designated as a World Heritage site, I would have liked to get off and see it even for just 15 minutes. 2) There was a shuttle bus to the observation deck in Shirakawa-go, but it was crowded, and we had to wait for one bus. Since it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk there, I would have appreciated information about walking. In the end, I waited for the bus to go there and walked back, but the distance was manageable on foot as well.

However, after careful consideration, we determined that it would be difficult to visit all three within the time constraints, and we had to abandon that plan. We hope you were still able to enjoy the atmosphere from the car window.
During this season, Shirakawa-go attracts many tourists, so there may be times when you have to wait for the shuttle bus. While we usually provide information about walking routes during other seasons, these paths are typically closed in winter, and our tour guide decided not to recommend them for safety reasons. We understand that our guests want as much local information as possible, and we will strive to provide as much information as we can.

本来は白川郷、五箇山（相倉地区、菅沼地区）の3か所で世界遺産の認定を受けておりますので、弊社といたしましてもすべてご覧いただきたく試行錯誤を重ねたのですが、時間的に3か所は厳しいとの判断に至り断念いたしました。車窓から雰囲気だけでも楽しんでいただければと思っております。
この時季の白川郷は多くの観光客がいらっしゃるので、シャトルバスをお待ちいただくことがあるかと思われます。冬期以外は徒歩で行く方法もご案内しているのですが、通常冬期は閉鎖されており、当日の添乗員も万が一を思ってご案内をしなかったとのことです。ご参加されるお客様は少しでも多くの現地情報が欲しいと思いますので、可能な限り多くの情報を提供するように努めます。

When we left Kanazawa Station, it was snowing, but by the time we arrived at Shirakawa-go, the snow had stopped, and fortunately, it was a perfect day for a stroll.
At Shirakawa-go, the view from the observation deck made me feel satisfied, thinking, "I'm glad I came." However, it does feel like a tourist spot due to the large number of visitors.
In contrast, Gokayama had fewer tourists, allowing us to enjoy a more tranquil landscape. If you head right from the parking lot and climb up, there's a viewpoint where you can overlook the village, and the view from there was absolutely stunning! I highly recommend it. However, if there's snow accumulation, you'll need to walk up the snowy slopes, so it's essential to wear shoes that are not slippery. This time, I borrowed rubber boots from the tourist information center inside Kanazawa Station, and that was a great decision. I was able to enjoy the snow without worrying about my feet.
Of course, the tour itself was also very satisfying. The explanations on the bus were enjoyable, the travel was easy, and it felt like I participated in a different season. Thank you very much!
金沢駅を出発する時は降っていた雪も白川郷に着く頃には止み、ラッキーなことに散策日和でした。
白川郷は、展望台からの景色に「来て良かった」と満足。ただ、観光客が多いこともあり観光地感はありますね。
五箇山は観光客も少なく、より穏やかな風景を楽しむことが出来ます。駐車場からすぐ右手を登っていくと、集落が見渡せるビュースポットがあり、そこからの景色がとにかく最高でした！おすすめです。が、雪が積もっていると雪の斜面を歩いて登っていくことになるので、滑りにくい靴が必須です。今回、金沢駅内にある観光案内所での長靴の貸し出しを利用したんですが大正解でした。足元を気にすることなく、存分に雪の中を楽しめました。
もちろんツアー自体も大満足です。バスの中の説明も楽しかったですし、移動はラクだし、また違う季節に参加したみたいです。ありがとうございました。

Shirakawa-go sees a significant increase in international visitors during the winter season, so the scenery is filled with tourists on both sides. However, outside of that season, you can enjoy a relatively leisurely stroll, except during Golden Week and the Obon period.
Additionally, during our tours from June 20 to October 31, we will head to Shirakawa-go via the Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road, allowing you to enjoy a different breathtaking view than on this trip. The autumn foliage season is especially recommended!
Regarding the rental of rubber boots, there is a limited supply available at the Kanazawa Station Tourist Information Center. Since the tour departure time is early, we recommend borrowing them the day before. It was my first time in Shirakawa-go and Takayama. I had plenty of time to relax. During the car ride, I was also introduced to dining options in Kanazawa, which was helpful. If I have the chance, I would like to use this service again.

There was no snow and the weather was nice, so we operated on schedule. We arrived at Shirakawa-go around 9:25 and had time for sightseeing until 11:15, followed by lunch. The shuttle bus to the observation deck was very crowded, so we took the open hiking trail instead.
In Takayama, we had 1 hour and 45 minutes for free exploration, which I thought would be long, but it surprisingly felt short as we enjoyed walking around and buying souvenirs.
雪もなく天気も良かったため、予定通りの時間での運行となりました。白川郷の観光時間ですが、9:25頃着き、11:15まで観光、その後お昼でした。展望台までのシャトルバスが大混雑だったため、開放されていた登山道のほうを行きました。

I participated in a tour on Monday, January 21, with my mother and sister. There were also foreign participants, and I was able to listen to the guide in both Japanese and English, which was very interesting. Our guide, Mr. Yamazaki, was very pleasant and explained about Kanazawa in a fun and easy-to-understand way, making it a truly wonderful trip.
I was able to fully enjoy both Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. The lunch was also very delicious. It was my first experience making rice crackers, and I was excited and happy with how tasty they turned out.
