I had a sudden thought and signed up at the last minute, but I really enjoyed it! At first, I considered renting a car to get around, but since there are many narrow roads on the island, I thought it might take a long time to cover all the courses and distances, even if someone from outside the island could drive. As a result, participating in this bus tour allowed me to make effective use of my time. Thank you very much! Next time, I want to join with my friends!

ふと思い立ち、ギリギリでの申し込みでしたが、とても楽しめました^ ^最初はレンタカーを借りて回ろうとも思っていましたが、島内は道も狭いところも多く、島外の方も運転はできるとは思いますが、これだけのコースや距離を回るとなると時間がかかるかな、とも思いました！結果、このバスツアー参加で、時間を有効に使うことができました。ありがとうございました。今度は友達と参加したいと思います！

I was able to have my wishes heard, and I was taken to various sightseeing spots and for lunch. I was disappointed that I couldn't go to the somen restaurant. Also, I couldn't cross Angel Road due to the timing of the low tide, but it was nice to see it from a nearby location. I was a bit worried because I couldn't meet up at the ferry terminal and the high-speed boat terminal due to the difference in meeting points, but the staff from the rental car company kindly helped me, and I was relieved to finally meet up safely.

こちらの希望を聞いてもらえて、見学場所やランチなど、連れて行ってもらえました。
そうめん屋さんに行けなかったのが残念でした。それと、エンジェルロードは、引き潮の時間が合わずに渡れませんでしたが、少し離れた場所から見られてのが良かったです。
待ち合わせ場所のフェリー乗り場と高速船乗り場の違いで、ちょっと会えなかったので、心配したのですが、そこにいた、レンタカー会社のスタッフの方が、親切に教えて、くださって、無事に会えてホッとしました。

The Great Kannon of Shodoshima and Kankakei were not necessary. The Great Kannon was too religious for my taste. I was disappointed that I couldn't have a proper lunch at Kankakei. There was a restaurant inside the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village, which would have been better. It was a shame that I passed by local shops I wanted to visit.

小豆島大観音、寒霞渓は　無くてもよかった。
大観音は宗教色が強過ぎて好みではなかった。
寒霞渓で昼食らしいものは食べられずガッカリでした。二十四瞳映画村の中にレストランがあったので、そちらが良かった。
他に寄ってみたい地元産の店舗は素通りだったのは残念でした。

I was able to visit the main tourist spots on the island by bus, which made it easy and enjoyable. The bus guide's stories were interesting, and at the end, they even sang a song, which really got everyone excited.

バスで島のメインな観光スポットを回れたので、楽に楽しめました。またバスガイドさんの話が面白く、最後は歌も歌ってくださり、とても盛り上がりました。

I had always wanted to visit Shodoshima. When I saw the plan by Mr. Berudora, I had another commitment, but I decided to extend my stay by one night and participate in the Shodoshima tour. The driver and guide for the Shodoshima sightseeing were very kind, and I am grateful for how well they took care of us. However, I was worried that I might get lost between the ferry and the reception, so I took an earlier ferry. It turned out to be a good decision, but I still got quite lost and had to ask people for directions to finally arrive.

小豆島には一度どうしても行きたかったのです。こんなは時ベルドラさんの企画を見て別件の予定もあり、一泊増やして小豆島巡り煮参加させて頂きました。小豆島観光の運転手さんもガイドさんもとても親切で、我々のお相手も上手にして頂き、感謝しています。ただ、フェリー降りてから受付までに私は迷ってしまいそうで、フェリーの時期を一便早くして行きましたがそれで良い随分と迷ってあちこちで人にお聞きしてたどり着きました。

The weather was nice, and just enjoying tea while looking at this scenery made me feel relaxed and happy. The proximity of the sea and mountains, along with the rich nature, allowed me to disconnect from the real world and reflect on myself. I truly believe it was a great decision to go there.

I joined the Great Kannon tour as a solo participant. I was treated very kindly, and I felt happy to experience the warmth of the people from Shikoku 💖. Since it coincided with a three-day weekend, it was crowded, and I couldn't enjoy a leisurely lunch, but I would love to visit the Happy Kannon pilgrimage again. Thank you very much.

I also thought it would be nice if there were more various tours available.

いろんなツアーが，もっとあるといいかとも思いました。

I visited Shodoshima and rented a taxi to tour the island. The driver was kind and shared local stories while guiding us, making for a very fulfilling day. Although I couldn't cross Angel Road, I was moved by the enchanting scenery. The view of the autumn leaves and the Seto Inland Sea from the ropeway at Kankakei was truly breathtaking. At Olive Park, I took photos with the windmill and the blue sky as a backdrop and enjoyed the famous olive soft serve. I was able to efficiently visit the tourist spots, and the travel was comfortable; I really felt that renting a taxi was the right choice. It turned out to be a wonderful trip where I could feel the warmth of nature and the people.

小豆島を訪れ、タクシーを貸し切って島内を巡りました。運転手さんが親切で、地元の話を交えながら案内してくれたので、とても充実した一日でした。エンジェルロードはわたれませんでしたが、幻想的な景色に感動しました。寒霞渓は、ロープウェイから見下ろす紅葉と瀬戸内海の眺めはまさに絶景でした。オリーブ公園では風車と青い空を背景に写真を撮り、名物のオリーブソフトを味わいました。観光名所を効率よく回れ、移動も快適で、タクシー貸切にして本当によかったと思います。自然と人の温かさを感じる素敵な旅になりました。

I was planning to rent a car on my own, but there were no available options, so it was a good decision to book here! In half a day, they took me to key spots and I was able to receive explanations about various places. I also made friends with people from Taiwan. The ropeway at Kankaseki is enough for a one-way trip. The bus guide's smooth narration and even a song at the end made for a wonderful memory!

個人でレンタカーを借りるつもりが空きがなくこちらで申し込んで正解でした！半日で要所に連れて行ってくれ　様々な土地の説明を受けることができました　台湾から来た人とも仲良くなれたし　寒霞渓のロープウェイは片道で十分ですね　バスガイドさんの流れるような案内と最後に歌まで聞けて大変良い思い出になりました

The weather was nice, there was no wind, and the autumn leaves were beautiful. The bus arrived at the final station on time, which was great. It was an efficient course.

I requested a 5-hour sightseeing taxi on Shodoshima. When I got off the ferry from Takamatsu, the driver was waiting for me, and we were ready to set off! However, it turned out that the driver hadn't been informed about the itinerary. I explained that the tour course from Veltra included certain locations, but changes were also possible, and we could discuss it with the driver. After that, the driver was very flexible and accommodating, so we were able to efficiently visit all the places we wanted, such as Angel Road, Kankakei, a soy sauce factory, the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village, and Olive Park. It was a great experience!

小豆島5時間の観光タクシーをお願いしました。高松からのフェリーを降りた所で運転手さんが待っていて下さって、さあ出発！、、のはずが、何処へどう回るのか運転手さんは何も聞いてないと言うことで、ベルトラさんからのツアーコースはこういう内容で、でも変更もOKで運転手さんと相談して、となっていますと説明。あとは運転手さんが臨機応変に対応してくれたので、エンジェルロード、寒霞渓、お醤油製造所、二十四の瞳映画村、オリーブ公園、など行きたい所を効率よく回れてとても良かったです。

You can easily reach places that are difficult to access without a rental car by bus. You can stay at each spot for about an hour. They also allow you to bring large suitcases on the bus for free, and on the way back, they drop you off at Shodoshima International Hotel or Angel Road, which was very helpful.

レンタカーが無いと行きづらい場所へバスでお手軽に行けます。各スポット大体1時間くらい滞在。でっかいキャリーも無料でバスに乗せてくれますし、帰りは小豆島国際ホテルやエンジェルロードで降ろしてくれるので、とても助かりました。

This is my second time using a sightseeing bus, and once again, it was the right choice. I believe that for solo travelers without a car, a sightseeing bus is the best option. It allows for efficient sightseeing, and this time, the guide was wonderful, providing commentary throughout the ride, which was truly moving. The driver was also kind and courteous. I felt the price was a bit high, but since it includes admission fees and the cable car fare, I find it reasonable. Thank you for your service.

観光バス利用は今回で2度目ですが今回も正解でした。
1人旅、車なしでの観光は観光バスが1番だと思います。
効率良く観光が出来、今回更にガイドさんが素晴らしく乗ってる間中ガイドして下さり感動しました。
ドライバーさんも親切で丁寧な方でした。
料金が少し高く感じていましたが入場料、ロープウェイ代込みなので納得です。

Since it was during the Setouchi Triennale, I communicated to the driver that I wanted to see art pieces that were not included in the course, and they arranged everything to fit within the time frame. Thanks to that, I was able to smoothly tour the island, which I really appreciated. I got to hear stories about the island, take photos, and travel comfortably in the heat. It was definitely the right decision to book this.

瀬戸芸中だったので、運転手さんにコースにないアート作品の見学したいことを伝えて、時間の中におさまるよういろいろアレンジしてもらい、お陰でスムーズに島を観光できてとてもありがたかったです。島のお話し聞けたり、写真を撮ってもらったり、暑い中快適に移動できたり、申し込んで大正解でした。

I hesitated because the tour price was on the higher side, but after reading the experiences of others and seeing the high ratings, I decided to participate. It was a hot day in August, but I was able to efficiently visit the tourist spots while listening to the fluent explanations from the guide in the cool bus. I appreciated the various pieces of information about Shodoshima that weren't included in the guidebook. The tour did not include Angel Road, so I got off at the International Hotel and crossed Angel Road as well. Even during the Setouchi Triennale period, there were few buses, so I think it would have been tough to explore on my own. I'm glad I participated.

ツアー料金が高めで迷いましたが、これまでの体験談を読み評価が高かったので参加を決めました。8月の暑さ厳しい日でしたが涼しいバスの中でガイドさんの流暢な説明を聞きながら観光スポットを効率良く周ることができました。ガイドブックには載っていない小豆島情報をいろいろ教えていただき有り難かったです。ツアーにエンジェルロードは含まれていないので国際ホテル前で途中下車してエンジェルロードも渡ってきました。瀬戸内芸術祭期間中でも路線バスの本数は少なく自力で周るのは厳しかったと思います。参加して良かったです。

Every place we visited was enjoyable.

The monkeys in the monkey park were cute as they were outside of their cages. The feeding experience was also great. Personally, I wished we had a bit more time at the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Studio.

Both the driver and the guide were kind and pleasant, and the Shodoshima somen noodles we received as souvenirs were delicious.

Shodoshima is quite a large island, and since tourist attractions are scattered in various directions, it can be quite challenging to get around without a car. The bus tour I participated in was very efficient and took me to all the places I wanted to see, which was a great help. The connection with the ferry from Tonosho Port was also good, so I highly recommend this tour.

小豆島は結構大きな島で、観光名所が各方面に点在しているため、マイカーでないと中々周るのが大変です。参加したこのバスツアーは、非常に効率良く、見たい場所に連れて行ってくれたので大変助かりました。土庄港からのフェリーとの接続も良く、お勧めのツアーです。

It was wonderful despite the heat. Angel Road has time constraints, so plan accordingly. I think managing your time is important.

I thoroughly enjoyed Shodoshima. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and I believe participants from abroad were able to enjoy Shodoshima as well.

I think this tour is just right for those who don't need to rent a car. It was also great that the connections for the boat were well considered.

レンタカーを借りるまでも無い人には丁度良いツアーだと思います。

It was a hot day, but with a Japanese guide, our tour of about 20 people went smoothly and on schedule since it was a weekday and there were no crowds. It was fun.

Since I was traveling alone, I thought it would be better to join a tour instead of renting a car. I was glad that we could visit the places I wanted to go to specifically. The bus guide's explanations made it even more enjoyable. I wondered if it would have been even better if the weather had been clear, as it was a bit foggy.

一人旅だったので、レンタカー借りるのもなぁと思い、ツアーに申し込みました。
行きたかった所がピンポイントで行けて良かったです。(o^^o)

It was raining, but the scenery was still beautiful. I was told that Shodoshima doesn't get much rain, so I'm glad I was able to visit on such a rare rainy day.

I explored the highlights of Shodoshima in one day. The monkeys were adorable, and the scenery of Kankakei was beautiful and amazing! In the afternoon, I was very satisfied with my day as I visited the Olive Park and the movie village of Twenty-Four Eyes, which were must-see spots.

小豆島の見どころを1日で周りました。お猿さん達は可愛いし、寒霞渓の景色は綺麗で最高！午後は二十四の瞳の映画村にオリーブ公園と行きたかった名所が目白押しで大満足の1日でした。

Thanks to the strong recommendation from our driver, we extended our departure by 30 minutes for a total of four hours. It's true that outside of the national roads, we were driving at a safe speed of 30 to 40 km/h, so going over time might be understandable!

Kankakei has plenty of viewpoints, and we stopped here and there to take photos, which made for great memories. The Shinpaku trees looked different depending on where you viewed them, and our driver was very knowledgeable about the history of Shodoshima, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I considered skipping Angel Road since it wasn't the time when the road appears, but when we actually went, the sea was beautiful! I was very satisfied with the stunning view.

I was also pleased that we could visit all the places I wanted to see at the Setouchi Triennale!

The actual time taken from the hotel to Kankakei, Angel Road, Nakayama Senmaida, Shinpaku at Hosho-in, Olive Park, and the ferry terminal was about 4 hours and 13 minutes.

ドライバーさんの強いお薦めもあり、4時間に30分延長で出発となりました。確かに国道以外は時速30kmや40kmの安全運転なので、時間オーバーもしょうがないかも！
寒霞渓にはビュースポットがいっぱいあり、あちこち止まって写真を撮ってくれたので、いい思い出になりました。
シンパクは見る場所によっていろんな姿に見えるし、ドライバーさんも小豆島の歴史に詳しい方だったのでとても楽しめました。
エンジェルロードも道が現れる時間帯ではないので省こうかとも思ったのですが、実際行ってみると海が綺麗！美しい眺めに大満足でした。

瀬戸芸の展示も見たかった所は回れたので満足です！

ホテル～寒霞渓～エンジェルロード～中山千枚田～宝生院のシンパク～オリーブ公園～フェリー乗り場までで、実際所要時間は4時間13分位でした。

For those who cannot drive, it is very helpful to be taken around by bus, especially in a new place. If I may wish for something, I don't mind that lunch is separate, but it's disappointing that there are few choices.

運転できない者にとって、特に初めての地でバスで連れて行って頂けるのは有難い。欲をいえば、ランチ別途なのは構わないが、チョイスが少なく残念。

I felt that more than half of the participants were tourists from overseas. It was great that the bus guide came to the back seats while showing a board with multilingual instructions. Everyone adhered to the meeting times at each sightseeing spot, which made everything run smoothly. Thanks to the wonderful guide, I was able to learn a lot about Shodoshima! I’m glad I participated, as I was worried about driving.

参加者は海外からの観光客が半数以上いたように思います。バスガイドさんが注意事項などは多言語で書かれたボードを見せながら後ろの席まで来て案内してくださっていたのがよかったです。それぞれの観光地での集合時間も参加者全員が守っていたのでスムーズでよかったです。ステキなガイドさんのおかげでたくさん小豆島について知ることができました！車の運転が不安だったので参加してよかったです。

I used this service for a solo trip to Shodoshima. It's convenient because they take you to places that are hard to reach without a car. The guide recited "Twenty-Four Eyes," and it was amazing.

There are many places to visit, so the sightseeing time at each location tends to be a bit short, but you can cover all the famous tourist spots. After this, it might be nice to take your time at the places you liked on your next visit. Since I can't drive, this was very helpful. Unfortunately, there were participants who were late multiple times for the meeting, which caused some delays. I was worried about making it back to the ferry, but since the schedule was well managed, I was able to make it just in time. I felt like I wanted to visit Shodoshima again.

回る場所も多いので、どうしても一箇所あたりの観光時間が短めになってしまいますが、一通り有名観光スポットに回ることができます。
これで回って、次回気に入った場所にゆっくり行けばいいかもしれないです。
車運転できないので、とても助かりました。
運悪く、参加者で何度も集合時間に遅刻する方がいて、時間がズレたりしました。
帰りの船に間に合うかヒヤヒヤしましたが、時間をちゃんと調整されていたので、なんとか間に合って良かったです。
また小豆島に観光したいと感じました。
