The Sakurajima Ferry, connects Kagoshima and Sakurajima with a 3.4km route in 15 mins. You can see ferries with affectionate names such as "Sakura Fairy" and "Princess Marine."
Upon landing on Sakurajima, you can stroll through Sakurajima Lava Nagisa Park and enjoy a foot bath.
Located on a reef between Kagoshima City and Sakurajima, this lighthouse signals the reef's position to numerous vessels navigating Kinko Bay, ensuring their safety. The current lighthouse stands 9.29 meters above ground, and its light has a range of approximately 13 kilometers.
