I rented a changing room to store my belongings and to wash my legs after yoga, but half of the participants also rented a changing room. You can place your belongings on the yoga mats provided by the instructor, so if you want to wash your legs, I think it's a good idea to rent a changing room.
(The changing room was a small space with two shower rooms, one sink, and shared lockers.)

We participated as a family of six. We raced through the mountains on mountain bikes and thoroughly enjoyed the deep nature of Hakone under Mr. Kato's insightful commentary. Our youngest, who is in fifth grade and whom I was most worried about (though I wasn't really that worried), ended up leading the way, competing with his older brother and Mr. Suzuki, and had the most fun. The older sisters and mom also enjoyed themselves at their own pace. Next time, I would like to try a different course with the whole family, including our second daughter who couldn't join this time.

The smoothies, in particular, were very delicious and healthy. I believe people would still come even if the smoothies were listed as an additional charge in the program. The driver, Mr. K, was waiting for us on time at the west exit of Kamakura Station. He is fluent in English and knowledgeable about history (not just Kamakura, but the history of Japan as a whole). He handled the barrage of questions from the international guests very well, and they were quite pleased.

Additionally, he knew about hidden parking spots at each sightseeing location, allowing us to stop quickly and get right into the visits (if we had rented a car ourselves, we wouldn't have been able to park so easily). Just for this reason alone, I feel it was worth hiring him this time. I highly recommend this service.

I took a bus from JR Atami Station to the Atami coast, visited the Kanichi Omiya statue, and Kaminoyama Shrine, then crossed the pass to take the cable car to the summit at Jukkoku-toge, hoping to see Mount Fuji, but it was cloudy and I couldn't see it... what a shame.

At Hakone-en, I could choose between the open-air bath at the Hakone Prince Hotel, the aquarium, or something else, but of course, I had to choose the bath at the Hakone Prince Hotel since you can't go to Hakone without enjoying a bath. That was a great choice!

There were only three of us, who seemed to be friends of my mom, in the bath, so we could relax and enjoy it thoroughly. Since it's a Prince Hotel facility, it was elegant and lovely. The mist sauna had seats that could be rinsed off with a shower, making it hygienic.

プリンスホテルの設備なので、上品で素敵。ミストサウナも座席がシャワーで流せるので衛生的。
その後、芦ノ湖で遊覧船に乗って、やはり富士山見えず…残念。
箱根関所を見て、お土産買って、JR小田原駅でバスを降ります。
大涌谷は知っての通り通行止めなので、黒玉子は食べられないのが残念ですが、その他は概ね満足です。
団体客の日程違いキャンセルがあったらしく、参加者は6人だけで大きな観光バスとベテランバスガイドさんを独占できて、贅沢すぎる日帰り旅行でした。
