I took a bus from JR Atami Station to the Atami coast, visited the Kanichi Omiya statue, and Kaminoyama Shrine, then crossed the pass to take the cable car to the summit at Jukkoku-toge, hoping to see Mount Fuji, but it was cloudy and I couldn't see it... what a shame.

At Hakone-en, I could choose between the open-air bath at the Hakone Prince Hotel, the aquarium, or something else, but of course, I had to choose the bath at the Hakone Prince Hotel since you can't go to Hakone without enjoying a bath. That was a great choice!

There were only three of us, who seemed to be friends of my mom, in the bath, so we could relax and enjoy it thoroughly. Since it's a Prince Hotel facility, it was elegant and lovely. The mist sauna had seats that could be rinsed off with a shower, making it hygienic.

After that, we took a sightseeing boat on Lake Ashi, but again, we couldn't see Mount Fuji... what a shame. We visited the Hakone Checkpoint, bought souvenirs, and got off the bus at JR Odawara Station.

Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the black eggs at Owakudani since it was closed, but overall, I was quite satisfied. It seems there was a cancellation from a group tour, so there were only six participants, allowing us to have a large tour bus and an experienced tour guide all to ourselves, making it a luxurious day trip.

JR熱海駅前からバスに乗って、熱海の海岸、貫一お宮像、来宮神社と峠を越えて、十国峠でケーブルカーで山頂まで行って、富士山が見えるはずが、曇って見えない…残念。
箱根園で、箱根プリンスホテルの露天風呂か水族園かもう一個何かのどれかが選べるのですが、箱根で風呂に入らない訳ないので当然、箱根プリンスホテルのお風呂を選択。
これが当たりでした〜。
私とママ友らしい3人組だけしかお風呂に居ないので、ゆーっったり入れて満足。
プリンスホテルの設備なので、上品で素敵。ミストサウナも座席がシャワーで流せるので衛生的。
その後、芦ノ湖で遊覧船に乗って、やはり富士山見えず…残念。
箱根関所を見て、お土産買って、JR小田原駅でバスを降ります。
大涌谷は知っての通り通行止めなので、黒玉子は食べられないのが残念ですが、その他は概ね満足です。
団体客の日程違いキャンセルがあったらしく、参加者は6人だけで大きな観光バスとベテランバスガイドさんを独占できて、贅沢すぎる日帰り旅行でした。
