I had a great experience. I think it might be a seasonal issue, but if I had to say something, the river rafting time was too long, lacking a sense of speed and excitement. If I get the chance, I would like to enjoy a different season.

時期の問題と思いますが、強いて言えば川下りの時間が長すぎスピード感もなく迫力不足、機会あれば違う季節を楽しんでみたいです。

It was a cold early December, but the weather was nice and warm. It got cold after sunset, but I warmed up by buying oden at a street vendor along the way. I had a great time throughout and would like to participate again in the summer!

12月上旬の寒い季節でしたか、天気が良く暖かく過ごせました。日が落ちてからは寒くなりましたが、途中の屋台売店でおでんを買って温まりました。終始楽しく、また夏にも参加したいと思います！

この素晴らしいボート体験にとても満足しています。その間、ボートのスタッフは私たちとおしゃべりをしてくれました。彼らは英語があまり得意ではありませんでしたが、一生懸命に景色を説明し、観光客と楽しい時間を過ごそうとしてくれました。ここを訪れることを強くお勧めします。

So happy with this amazing experience in boat, during the time, boat men chatted with us even though they didn't speak english well, but they try hard to explained view and made fun with tourists. I highly recommend to visit here.

I traveled to Kyoto with my wife, which was our first visit since our school trip. Despite it being a busy time of year, we managed to take a 1-night, 2-day trip and chose Kyoto as our destination since we hadn't been able to go for a while. Since we were unfamiliar with the area, we decided to join a bus tour to visit the main attractions.

To cut to the chase, it was a great decision! We gathered at Kyoto Station and took the JR train to Inari Station, the closest station to Fushimi Inari. Seeing the famous thousand torii gates for the first time was truly moving! From there, we traveled by bus to our next destination, Kiyomizu-dera.

We had a tempura set lunch here. Thanks to the tour reservation, we didn't have to wait and could enjoy our meal, after which we strolled around Kiyomizu-dera and the nearby area. After Kiyomizu-dera, we moved on to Kinkaku-ji.

Our tour guide provided us with great tips on photo spots and took a lovely couple's photo of us after a long time. We then headed to Arashiyama, where we received our tickets for the return trip to Kyoto Station and were free to explore on our own. Although it was a free time, the guide shared some helpful advice about Arashiyama along the way.

After that, we enjoyed the bamboo grove, explored the area, and sampled some local snacks before returning to Kyoto Station. We managed to visit the main attractions in one day without getting lost during the transfers, and we had about an hour at each site, making it a very efficient tour.

I highly recommend this tour for beginners visiting Kyoto. The tour guide and bus driver were both very pleasant, and I would definitely like to use this service again when I visit Kyoto in the future.

自身修学旅行以来の京都を妻と旅行しました。暮れの忙しい時期ではありましたが、1泊2日の旅行の時間が取れたのでなかなか行けなかった京都を旅行先に選びましたが、土地勘もないのでバスツアーで主な観光地を巡ろうと思いこのツアーを選択。
結論から言うと大正解でした！
京都駅にて集合〜JRで伏見稲荷の最寄駅の稲荷駅迄移動〜伏見稲荷観光で初めての千本鳥居見て感動！
ここからの移動はバスで次の目的地清水寺へ。
ここで天ぷら御膳の昼食。ツアーでの予約もあり待ち時間もなく昼食を取ることが出来、食後清水寺及び近隣を散策出来ました。
清水寺の後は金閣寺に移動。
添乗員さんからは撮影スポットを教えていただいたり、久しぶりの妻とのツーショット写真を撮って頂いたりしてとても良かったです。
その後嵐山に移動し、我々はここで帰路の京都駅迄の乗車券を受け取り自由解散となりました。自由解散ではありましたが途中迄添乗員さんが嵐山のワンポイントアドバイスを教えてくれました。
その後竹林の小径を見たり、近隣散策、食べ歩き等して、京都駅迄戻りました。
主な観光を1日で回れて、あれこれ移動で迷う事なく、それぞれの観光地で1時間程度見学時間も取れ無駄のないツアーでした。
京都旅行ビギナーには超おすすめです。
添乗員さん、バスドライバーさんもとても感じが良く、また京都を訪れる時には利用したいと思いました。

It was my first time taking a boat ride in Arashiyama, and although it rained that day, the scenery during the two-hour journey was delightful. The boatman's skills were excellent, and it became an unforgettable memory. I will remember this and participate again.

The scenery was wonderful, and the boatman's talk was like a comedy routine, making it very enjoyable. The experience lasted about an hour and a half due to the fast current, but we were laughing the whole time. I would like to see the winter scenery as well.

景色も素晴らしく、船頭さんのトークが漫才のようでとても楽しめました。体験の日は流れが早かったため1時間半ほどの乗船時間でしたが、その間中笑いっぱなしでした。冬景色も見てみたいと思いました。

I decided to participate after reading the reviews, and it was even more enjoyable than I imagined. The boatman's stories were very entertaining, and the two hours flew by. I definitely want to join again in a different season.

To those who are considering participating: The early morning time slot is often avoided, but I highly recommend it. I had a great time!

I visited just when the autumn leaves were at their peak on Friday. It seems that those without reservations had to wait for about 30 minutes. It was a nearly two-hour boat ride while listening to the funny talk of the boatman. The speed seems to depend on the water level, and since the day I visited had very little water, it took a long time. When the water is high, it can take less than an hour to go down. The autumn leaves were beautiful and worth seeing, but the narrow boat made it difficult to move around, so my butt and back started to hurt. Among the boatmen, there was someone who was selected as the runner-up in the Best Body Japan competition, and I was able to see a wonderful physique.

金曜日のちょうど紅葉の見頃に伺いました。
予約していない人は、30分弱位待っていたみたいです。
船頭さんの面白トークを聞きながらの2時間弱の川下りでした。水の量でスピードの早さが決まる様で、伺った日は凄く少ない日だったので、時間がかかりました。水が多いと、1時間掛からずに下る事もあるそうです。紅葉も綺麗で見応えありましたが、狭い舟であまり身動きが取れないので、お尻や腰が痛くなりました。
船頭さんの中に、ベストボディジャパンの準グランプリに選ばれた方もいて、素晴らしい体も拝見できました。

- Cherry blossoms and river rafting, fresh greenery and river rafting, autumn leaves and river rafting, snow and river rafting. Especially the snow-covered scenery looks like an ink painting, which also seems fantastical. River rafting is enjoyable no matter what season you visit.
- The boatmen's talks were lively and entertaining; the river rafting tour was a priceless experience thanks to the great nature and the boatmen.

I signed up for this kind of bus tour for the first time. I was nervous, but it turned out to be a very enjoyable day. There were many participants, both Japanese and foreigners, but since my husband and I were not used to it, we tried to stay close to the tour guide throughout the day. The guide was from China and was very friendly, teaching us various historical facts and kindly suggesting great spots for photos. We took a lot of couple shots together.

I thought a bus tour would mean not having to walk much, but we actually walked quite a bit, so I feel like a bit of stamina is needed. Since I don't usually walk much, I might have felt it more than others. However, the weather was nice, and after all the walking, I felt healthy and good, and I've been looking at the photos many times since returning home. Thank you very much!

初めてこのようなバスツアーに申し込みました。
ドキドキしましたが、結果とても楽しい1日でした。
日本人や外人さんなど多くのお客様も一緒に参加されていましたが、私達夫婦は慣れないので
なるべく添乗員さんの近くをキープして
1日過ごしました。中国の方でしたがとても気さくな方で色んな歴史も教えてくれたり、ここ写真撮るのすごく良い場所だからと親切でした。主人とのツーショット写真もたくさん撮ってもらいました。
バスツアーって歩かないで良いかと思っていたら
結構、歩いたので体力は少しいるかなという気がします。普段あまり歩かないので特にそう感じたかも？
でも、天気も良くてたくさん歩いた分、健康的で気持ちも良くて帰ってから写真を何度も見ています。

During my daughter's visit from Switzerland with her foreign husband, we included a boat ride on the Hozu River as part of our one-day autumn foliage tour in Kyoto. The autumn leaves were incredibly beautiful, and the boatmen were very entertaining. We were on the boat for about an hour and 45 minutes, but it felt like no time at all as we quickly arrived in Arashiyama; we had so much fun! I highly recommend it! Next time, I think I’ll go fully bundled up when it snows heavily.

スイスに嫁いだ娘と外国人の婿殿が帰省した際に、1日京都紅葉観光の１つに保津川下りを入れました。
紅葉もすごくきれいで、船頭さんたちがとても盛り上げてくださり、１時間４５分くらい乗っていましたが、時間を忘れてあっという間に嵐山に到着したように思えるほど、めちゃめちゃ楽しめました。
とてもおすすめです！！
今度は大雪が降った時に完全防寒で行ってみようかと思います。

Although the autumn leaves were not in full bloom, the Hozu River boat ride in the clear air was wonderful. The fresh greenery during the Hozu River boat ride was lovely as well, but I would like to try the boat ride during cherry blossom season next time. I also enjoyed the humorous guidance from the boatman.

I participated in a tour that takes you to the classic sightseeing spots in Kyoto in one day. We efficiently visited Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama using buses and trains! The plan included a kaiseki lunch and admission fees, so I was able to enjoy the city of Kyoto without any hassle. It's an excellent value for money and highly recommended!

紅葉 京都の定番観光地を1日で巡るツアーに参加しました。伏見稲荷大社→清水寺→金閣寺→嵐山と, バスと電車を利用して効率良く観光する事が出来ました！懐石の昼食と拝観料付きプランだったので,手間なく京都の町を楽しむ事が出来ました。コスパ抜群でオススメです！

We participated as a family. Autumn in Kyoto was very beautiful with clear air. It was great that we could visit various places in one day. The guide was kind and helpful. They were also friendly to foreign visitors. It was a very enjoyable day.

家族で参加しました。秋の京都は、空気が澄んでいてとても綺麗でした。一日で、色々回れるので良かったです。ガイドさんも親切で良かったです。外国の方にも親切にガイドされていました。とても楽しい一日でした。

The river rafting was more thrilling than I expected, and above all, the boatman's stories were interesting. I enjoyed listening to various anecdotes, whether they were true or not. When I went this time, the upstream was shrouded in mist, while the downstream had a clear blue sky, making the scenery change in an interesting way (the autumn leaves were a bit scattered, though...). This was my second visit, but I think the scenery changes with the seasons, and the speed varies with the water level, so I don't think I would ever get bored no matter how many times I go.

川下りも思ったよりスリルがあるし、何より船頭さんの話が面白く、嘘か本当か？色んな小話も聞けて楽しかったです。今回行った時は、上流は霧が立ち込める中で、下流は打って変わって青空が広がって、面白いように景色が変わっていました（紅葉はちょっと散ってたけど…）。行ったのは2回目ですが、季節によって景色も変わるし、水量で速さも変わるみたいで何度行っても飽きないだろうなと思います。

I experienced this with my boyfriend. On the boat, we were able to see the autumn leaves and the Torokko train from Kameoka to Arashiyama. It was so enjoyable that it didn't feel like an hour and a half, and I'm thinking of going again. The person steering the boat was also interesting, making it a fulfilling time.

船では亀岡から嵐山までの紅葉やトロッコ列車などが見れました。1時間半とは思えないほど楽しくてまた行きたいと考えております。操縦されてる方も面白く、充実した時間になりました。

I don't know which country it is, but I received about ten phone calls from the back, and each time it turned into a long conversation. I was fed up. I wish they would include etiquette in the contract at the time of application if possible.

After gathering, we took the train to Fushimi Inari Taisha. After the visit, we walked to the bus parking lot. We had lunch right after arriving at Kiyomizu-dera (before noon) ⇒ Kinkaku-ji ⇒ Arashiyama. Those returning to Osaka took the bus again after the visit. People going to Kyoto Station received tickets and could do as they pleased afterward. The guide said they would take us to photo spots. Even though I received a ticket, I accidentally used my Suica! Ahhh!

どこの国か分かりませんが、後ろの方に10回くらい電話がかかってきて、その度に長話。うんざりしました。出来たら申し込みの時点で、マナーも契約の中に盛り込んでくれたらいいな、と思いました。
集合後、稲荷大社までは電車。見学後にバス駐車場まで徒歩。清水寺に着いてすぐに昼食(12時前)⇒金閣寺⇒嵐山。大阪まで帰る人は見学後にまたバスに乗車。京都駅の人はチケットもらって後は好きにして良し。ガイドさんは映えスポットまで案内してくださるとのこと。チケットいただいたのにSuicaをうっかり使用してしまった！あーー

I was worried about the weather, but the long-awaited river rafting was amazing!! The boatmen chatted happily while skillfully navigating, and it felt like it ended in no time. It rained a bit along the way, but they set up a roof for us, so it wasn't a problem. I was also glad to see that process. I want to come back not only for the autumn leaves but also for other seasons.

I experienced my first Hozu River boat ride during the autumn leaves season. The weather was perfect, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful foliage. There were moments when we went down some fast-flowing sections, and the boatman's commentary was fun, but honestly, the 1 hour and 40 minutes of riding felt quite long. I started to feel a bit of back pain along the way, which was tough. Fortunately, it happened to be a warm day, but I imagine it would be quite cold and challenging on cloudy or rainy days. I would love to try a shorter 30-minute course again during the warmer season.

紅葉の季節に初めての保津川下りを体験しました。天気にも恵まれ、紅葉を眺めながら気持ち良く過ごすことができました。途中で少し流れの早い場所を下って水しぶきが飛んだり、船頭さんのトークも楽しかったですが、1時間40分の乗船時間は正直かなり長く感じました。途中でちょっと腰が痛くなってしんどかったです。この日はたまたま暖かかい日和だったので良かったですが、曇りや雨の日は寒くて大変そうです。30分くらいのコースがあったら暖かい季節にまた乗ってみたいです。

To avoid the crowds around Arashiyama (near Togetsukyo Bridge), the boat ride was relaxed and not crowded since there was a limit on the number of people, so I think I could enjoy the scenery of Arashiyama much more!

I made a reservation online, so I wasn't kept waiting, and I was lucky to get a seat right at the front of the boat!
I would like to use online reservations again next time.

A 1 hour and 50-minute boat ride. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Hozu Gorge while listening to the guide's explanations. At times, we experienced sudden drops and passed close to rocks, which added to the thrill of the attraction.

Just before arriving at Arashiyama, we joined up with a boat from the on-board shop and traveled together for about 10 minutes. They were selling Mitarashi dango, oden, and grilled squid, and having a bite on the boat was exceptional.

１時間５０分の舟下り。船頭さんの解説を聞きながら保津峡の渓谷美を楽しめました。ところどころで、波を受けながら急に下ったり、岩ぎりぎりに通ったりと、アトラクション気分もいっぱい。
嵐山に着く少し前には、船上売店の船と合流して１０分ほど一緒に走ります。みたらし団子やおでん、イカ焼きが売られていて、船上での一口は格別でした。

Since we were seated at the front, it was fun to hear the captain's explanations. However, a group of four loud women at the back were drinking and talking, making it hard to hear the captain's words at times, and they spilled alcohol on my clothes... With so many people on board, it's unavoidable, but it was unpleasant to encounter such rude behavior. I guess it depends on the luck of who you ride with. The river cruise was fantastic.

友人と乗船しました。いいお天気でお日様の光でポカポカし、程よく冷たい風に吹かれながら気持ちいい船旅でした。前の方の座席だったので船頭さんの説明とか聞けて楽しかったです。ただ、後ろのおばさん4人組が大きな声でお酒を呑みながら話をしていて、所々船頭さんのお話が聞こえないし、服にお酒はかけられるしで･･･沢山の方が乗るので仕方ないですがマナーの悪い人がいて不愉快でした。どんな人と乗るかは運ですね。川下りは最高でした。

This is my second time going down the river, but it was painful to see how the natural disasters had changed the mountain scenery compared to before. The boatman this time was a rafting staff member who mentioned he was temporarily filling in due to the busy season, but he kept us engaged with his skillful storytelling for the entire two hours, which was great. Thank you for your hard work as a paddler for such a long time. I would like to use this service again in a different season. And rafting too!

川下りは2度目になりますが、以前より自然災害で山の景色が変わっていたのが痛々しかったです。今回の船頭さんはラフティング用員の方が繁忙期につき、臨時でと言っていましたが、巧みな話術で2時間にも及ぶ時間も飽きさせず良かったです。長時間の漕ぎ手、本当にお疲れ様です。また違う季節で利用したいです。ラフティングも！
