We took a private yakatabune (houseboat) ride for the first time with four people. What was great was not only the scenery but also the kindness of the boatman, who spoke to us at just the right distance, neither too close nor too far. He was a wonderful person.
We brought our own bento, but along the way, a shop boat came by, and we purchased some mitarashi dango (sweet rice dumplings). It was such a nice surprise. I plan to recommend this experience to others as well.
四人で貸切の屋形船に初めて乗船しました。
何が良かったかって、景色もさることながら、船頭さんが優しくて、付かず離れずよい距離感でお話ししてくださったことです。とても良い方でした。
お弁当は持ち込みましたが、途中、売店の船が来てくれて、みたらし団子を購入。こういうのもすごく嬉しいです。周りにも勧めようと思います。

I was barely able to move around to the sightseeing spots on my own. However, using the Sky Hop Bus was fantastic because I could enjoy the streets of Kyoto from a height I wouldn't normally see while listening to the tour guide. Since it was peak tourist season, we stopped at only 2 out of 13 locations, and I enjoyed strolling around without being greedy. I thought it would be better if the bus came around more frequently, so I gave it a minus one.
自分だけでは行きたい観光地へ移動するだけで精一杯。だけど、スカイホップバスを使うと、観光案内を聞きながら、京都の街並みを普段見ることのない高さから観光できて、最高でした。

Even though I had been to Kyoto before, I hadn't done any sightseeing with a guide, so it was great to have the driver as a guide. It was also helpful to have someone take photos for me.
I thought it would be difficult to find a place for lunch during my trip to Kyoto in November, so I brought a bento with me and got into the taxi. The driver took me to a park where I could eat my bento, which saved me unnecessary time.

For our family trip after about 30 years, we made a reservation through Veltra and used a sightseeing taxi in Kyoto since my parents are elderly. At Togetsukyo Bridge, we received a brief explanation, and I thought I understood what a sightseeing taxi was. However, when we arrived at Tenryuji Temple, we were told that the guide would accompany us, and as soon as we entered the temple, we experienced an amazing guiding performance! Both of my parents were captivated by the stories, and even the tourists around us started listening in; it was an outstanding guide.

This time, I had the opportunity to take some guests from the United States on a sightseeing tour in Kyoto, and we used your services. We planned a trip to the Higashiyama area in Kyoto to celebrate my birthday as a couple. I've visited Kyoto several times, but this was my first time taking a taxi tour, so I made a reservation. We were guided to many locations, including the filming sites of "The Woman of the Forensic Science Laboratory," the Kamogawa Delta, the Waterway Pavilion at Nanzen-ji Temple, and Arashiyama. I've been to this place many times, but since I was traveling with my elderly parents, I appreciated the consideration for the slopes and walking areas. My husband is a smoker, so it was helpful to be informed about the smoking areas. They also shared information that the guide didn't know, which was great.
I requested to visit two places and left the remaining time to them. They took us to Okazaki Shrine and Heian Shrine, and we were able to collect many goshuin, which was very nice.

I planned a trip to Kyoto for my daughter, who couldn't participate in her school trip due to poor health. We wanted to visit many places in two days, including Byodoin, Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji, Rokuharamitsu-ji, Kiyomizu-dera, Fushimi Inari Taisha, Hokan-ji, and Gion, so we decided to hire a private taxi.
