The taxi driver was kind and offered to help us with our plans. Even though it wasn't cherry blossom season, he went out of his way to take us to see the early blooming cherry blossoms. The weather was nice, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the temple against the blue sky was beautiful. It was great that we could travel by bus, store our luggage, and get close to the tourist spots. The tempura and yudofu for lunch were also delicious. It was fun to be on the same tour with foreigners, and the guide's explanations in both English and Japanese helped me understand the English expressions. The guide was cheerful, which made the experience enjoyable.

We participated as a family of six. There were many international visitors, and we were the only Japanese. There were two guides; the male guide was with the Japan and America group in the front row, while the female guide was with the Korea group in the back row. We acted according to our groups. Our guide provided explanations in both Japanese and English, which was very helpful. She was very kind and took many photos for us. We were able to visit four places in one day, which was very meaningful. Everything was wonderful, but personally, I thought Kiyomizu-dera and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove were the best. We were able to have a family trip full of memories. I am grateful to our guide and the driver.

It was my first experience on a yakatabune (houseboat).
Although it had been raining right up until the day, it cleared up, and there were moments when the sun shone through. While listening to the captain's detailed explanations, I was able to see the natural beauty of the mountains and observe creatures like ducks and cormorants up close.
I enjoyed the scenery with cherry blossoms in bloom, took in the view of Togetsukyo Bridge, and watched as ducks gathered all at once. During the hour, I savored warm oden, grilled squid, and dumplings purchased from a boat that came right up to ours. It became a truly precious and unforgettable memory.

当日雨が直前まで降っていましたがあがり、陽が差すタイミングも。
船頭さんが丁寧に説明してくださっている説明を聴きながら、山々の自然やカモや鵜などの生き物たちも間近で見ることができました。
桜がら咲いている景色も楽しみつつ、渡月橋も一望しながらカモが一斉に集まる様子を見たり、船の方まで来てくれるおでんや団子など販売している船で購入した暖かいおでんやイカ焼き、団子などを頬張りつつ過ごした1時間は、とても貴重な最高の思い出になりました。

There is a bus stop a little away from the tourist attractions, so I think there is a walking distance, but you can go to the places you want to visit. I was late for my reservation, and while I understand that extensions are possible based on our preferences, I had communicated the places I wanted to visit. However, I was told it was too crowded or that there wasn't enough time. Despite this, they suggested an extension, but I was told that it would be a waste of time for the lunch I had planned. In the end, we could only visit two places, and after the tour ended, I was told they would take me to where I had a reservation, but the location was different, and I ended up having to walk to find it.
At first, I was happy and thought making the reservation was a good idea. However, as the tour went on, I couldn't shake off my frustration and felt disappointed.
The veteran driver certainly showcased impressive tour management skills, for better or worse.

It was very crowded on Sunday, March 30, but the tour definitely takes you to your destination! You won't have any trouble with lunch! You can enjoy it efficiently. On the bus, the tour guide Maria provided thorough explanations, and at the end in Arashiyama, she guided those who wanted to the "Bamboo Grove." The driver was also very friendly. After walking over 20,000 steps each day for three days on the train and on foot, the one-day bus tour was a great experience. The tour guide took photos for us and pointed out great photo spots, leaving us with wonderful memories. During our four-day, three-night stay, we walked over 20,000 steps every day and were touched by the kindness of the people in Kyoto. The three sisters had a fun trip together.
毎日電車、歩きで2万歩以上歩いた後の3日目のバス1日ツアー、添乗員さんが写真を写して下さったり写真スポットを教えてくださり良い思い出の写真が残りました。
３泊4日毎日2万歩以上歩き京都の皆さんの優しさに触れ三姉妹楽しく旅をする事ができました。

The tour guide was wonderful, and we were able to sightsee without any stress. By chance, the bamboo grove was also not crowded, allowing us to fully enjoy winter in Kyoto.

It was great to be able to experience typical Kyoto sightseeing. The tour had about half foreigners, with explanations in both English and Japanese! It was smoother than going on our own since it included the entrance fees and lunch.
Buses are convenient since they are plentiful everywhere.

I discussed my destination while being shown around, and I appreciated how they incorporated their suggestions into the areas where I was unsure. I initially thought I would just be dropped off at the parking lot, but they accompanied me and provided detailed explanations, while also thoughtfully creating some time for me to explore on my own. With the extra time, we passed by recommended alleys and shops, and they suggested stopping by a hidden gem, a sweet rice cake shop, saying, "Let's eat in the car" and "Let's buy some for the friends we're meeting later," which was a nice touch. Overall, it was an incredibly satisfying trip. Thank you very much!
目的地の相談をしながら回ってもらいましたが、私が迷っている部分にほどよくご自分の提案を入れていただき、ありがたかったです。駐車場で降ろしてもらうだけかと思っていましたが、一緒に回って丁寧に解説してくださり、またさりげなく１人で回る時間も作る気遣いもしてくださいました。時間に余裕が出ると、お勧めの小路やお店の前を通ったり、穴場のやきもち屋さんに寄って「車の中で食べましょう」「これから会うお友達にも買っていきましょう」と勧めてくださる少し押しの強めなところもステキでした。とにかく大満足の旅行でした。本当にありがとうございました。
