The guide's explanations were enjoyable and easy to understand, making for a fun sightseeing experience. Despite the heat, the time flew by and was very satisfying. Thank you for taking photos with my husband.

ガイドさんの説明が楽しく分かりやすく笑顔で楽しい観光でした。暑い中あっという間の満足な時間でした。主人との写真を撮って下さりありがとうございました。

This time, there were about 25 people on an internationally diverse tour that included the United States, Taiwan, South Korea, Mexico, Canada, and three Japanese people, including myself. There were two guides; one was dedicated to South Korea, and the main guide skillfully alternated between English and Japanese, providing a wonderfully bright and lively experience. Once we arrived at the destination, the guide explained everything and acted as an excellent photographer, skillfully capturing everyone's moments. It seems that the quality of the tour largely depends on the guide.

今回は、25名程度でアメリカ、台湾、韓国、メキシコ?、カナダそして日本人は私を含めて3人で国際色豊かなツアーでした。ガイドさんは2名いて一人は韓国専属で付いて、メインのガイドさんは英語と日本語を交互に操り、見事としか言いようのない素晴らしい明るく軽快なガイドさんでした。現地に着いたら説明と名カメラマンで、とても上手に全員のシャッターを押していただきました。やはりツアーの良否はガイドさんに依るものが多いようですね。

Since my companion was visiting Kyoto for the first time, we joined a tour. We visited Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama, and the bus travel was stress-free with just the right amount of time at each location, allowing us to enjoy ourselves! Especially since it was a particularly hot day, the air-conditioned bus tour was greatly appreciated.
Our guide, Haru, was incredibly hospitable, and we were very grateful for their assistance. Thank you very much. I imagine it was challenging to provide explanations in both English and Japanese, but they handled it with a smile, which was wonderful.
It seems there are various tour programs available, so I will definitely use this service again. Thank you for your help!

連れの者が初めての京都訪問でしたので、ツアーに参加しました。伏見稲荷、清水寺、金閣寺に嵐山と回りましたがバス移動はストレスもなく、滞在時間もちょうど良い感じで、楽しむことができました！特に残暑の厳しい日でしたので、エアコンのきいたバスでのツアーはありがたかったです。
ガイドのハルさんはホスピタリティ溢れる方で、大変お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。英語・日本語での各地の説明は大変だったと思いますが笑顔でこなされていて素晴らしかったです。
色んなツアープログラムがあるようですので、また利用させて頂きます。

I was prepared to encounter only foreign visitors, but it was a relief to see that half of the group was Japanese. The guide was very attentive, alternating between English and Japanese, which made it easy to understand. By the end, everyone was friendly, and although our conversations were a mix of broken Japanese and English, it was a very meaningful tour.

インバウンドで外国人の方ばかりだと覚悟していましたが、日本人も半分いてホットしました。ガイドさんも凄く丁寧に英語と日本語を交互にしてくれてとてもわかりやすかった。最後の方には皆んなが仲良く、日本語と英語の片言でしたが会話もはずんで、大変有意義なツアーでした。

A cool breeze blows over the river at dusk, and the yakatabune (traditional houseboat) glides leisurely along. As the sun fully sets, the cormorant fishing begins. The bonfire is beautiful, and we were able to see the cormorants in action up close.

Eventually, I was moved to see the Daimonji fire on the mountain in the distance; it was small but clearly visible. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness of the boatman, who made efforts to change locations so we could see better.

If possible, I think it would have been even more enjoyable if light snacks and drinks were included.

夕暮れの川に涼しい風が吹き、屋形船がゆったり進みます。どっぷりと日が暮れて、始まった鵜飼。篝火が美しく、鵜の活躍ぶりが間近で見られました。
やがて遠くに左大文字が、小さいけどはっきりと見え感動しました。いろいろと場所を変えて、よく見えるように工夫してくださる船頭さんの心遣いも嬉しかったです。
できれば、軽食と飲み物がついていればさらに楽しめたと思います。

The cormorant fishing I saw on the boat in Arashiyama at night was magical. The sight of the cormorants diligently catching fish was very cute. I was also able to enjoy the Gozan no Okuribi (the five mountain sending fires) slowly. I could see the torii shape and the large character. Even after disembarking, the torii shape was clearly visible from the bridge, adding to the atmosphere. If I have the chance, I would like to participate again.

夜の嵐山の船上で見た鵜飼は幻想的でした。懸命に魚を獲る鵜の姿がとてもかわいいです。五山の送り火もゆっくり見られました。見えるのは鳥居形と大文字です。下船後も橋の上から鳥居形がはっきり見えて風情が有ります。チャンスあれば又参加したいです。

I traveled to Kyoto for the first time with my daughter, and the guide was very considerate, bringing humor and making the trip enjoyable. Since we walked around all day, I was really grateful for the care shown to me, as my legs and back are weak. I would love to join the tour again when I visit Kyoto next time.

初めて娘と京都旅行で、ガイドさんの気配りが良く、ユーモアもありつつ楽しい旅行ができました。
1日中歩き回ったので足腰が弱い私に気を遣って頂き本当に嬉しかったです。

We rented a private boat as a family. It was a hot day with a 12:00 boarding time, but the boat had a roof, so it wasn't hot at all, and it felt very pleasant. We had lunch on the boat, bringing our own rice balls and other snacks. Along the way, a convenience store boat came by, and we bought some pickled cucumbers, which made for the perfect lunch with our rice balls and croquettes! They got really close to us, and their maneuvering skills were impressive.

The captain spoke to us gently at key moments, showing consideration for our family's relaxing time. It was a very satisfying hour! Thank you!

家族で貸切で乗りました。12:00からの乗船で暑い日だったのですが、船には屋根もあり暑くなく、とても気持ちよかったです。船の中でお昼ご飯を食べました。おにぎり等持ち込みました。途中水上コンビニの船が来てくださり、きゅうりの浅漬を買い持ち込んだおにぎりとコロッケで最高のランチが出来ました！ギリギリまで近寄ってくれてその操作技術が素晴らしかったです。
船頭さんは要所要所で穏やかに話しかけてくださり、家族でゆっくりしている時間を気遣ってくださいました。大満足の1時間でした！ありがとうございました！

It was a tour of Kyoto since my school trip.
Kyoto is definitely best explored by bus. The transportation was smooth. Our guide was very polite and provided guidance in Japanese on the bus and at the locations, even though we were the only Japanese family among the foreign tourists.
It was a fulfilling day.

やっぱり京都はバスです。移動がスムーズでした。ガイドさんも周りは海外の観光客で、私達家族は唯一の日本人でしたが、日本語で丁寧にバスの中、現地で案内して下さいました。

Rocking on the boat, the breeze is pleasant, and the surroundings gradually blend into dusk. It feels like being in a different world from the people at Togetsukyo Bridge. An extraordinary experience. As the bonfire brightly emerges in the darkness, the cormorant fishing begins. The cormorants diligently chase the fish. By the time that ends, the Gozan no Okuribi (the sending off fire of the five mountains) appears, with the large character clearly visible. The boatman guided us to a great viewing point, for which I am grateful. It was a completely different experience compared to when I saw it last year by the Kamo River. The sending off fire from the boat was quiet and peaceful. After disembarking, I was able to see the last lit torii gate from Togetsukyo Bridge for a long time. I was also able to witness the spirit floating, which truly filled my heart.

舟に揺られ、吹く風は心地よく、辺りは少しずつ暮れ馴染んでいく。渡月橋の人とは別世界にいるかのよう。非日常の世界。篝火がひときわ明るく闇の中に浮かび上がると鵜飼の始まり。鵜は健気に魚を追う。それが終わる頃、五山の送り火。大の字がくっきり現れた。　船頭さんがよく見えるポイントに舟を誘導してくれ、感謝。去年、鴨川べりで見たときとは大違い。舟からの送り火は静かで平和でした。下船後、最後に灯火された鳥居も渡月橋からしっかり長時間拝めた。精霊流しも見ることができ、本当に心が満たされました。

I was impressed by the ease of communication and the attentiveness of the tour guide (ACO). I participated with my grandchild, and we had a great time. Traveling individually would take a lot of time, but the sightseeing bus was excellent. It was a nostalgic trip to Kyoto after 20 years, and it will remain a memorable experience. You can efficiently visit four places. It's perfect for those who want to see the sights in just one day due to time constraints! Since you'll be visiting four locations, there won't be much time for shopping, but it's efficient.

4ヶ所を効率よく回れます。時間がなく1日で名所を回りたい！ていう方にで最適。
4ヶ所回るので、買い物時間などはゆっくりありませんが、効率的です。

This tour had everything I wanted to see.
It was an English tour, but thank you for mixing in some Japanese as well.
I really enjoyed my time in Kyoto after a long while.
It was fun to meet people from various countries.
The only downside was that there was someone who was late for the meeting time, which caused a slight delay in our departure.
Other than that, the duration at each location was just right, and I made great memories.

It seemed difficult to tour Kyoto by rental car, and using trains and buses seemed hot and challenging... After some consideration, I joined a day trip bus tour from Umeda to Kyoto! It was a great decision. The guide was very kind, and we were able to visit the popular sightseeing spots on time. It was wonderful to relax in the cool bus during the travel time.

I was prepared for the harshness of Kyoto in midsummer, but it was beyond my expectations. I was very satisfied to visit four classic attractions in just one day. The guide kindly explained the sights not only in English but also in Japanese. Despite the heat, they maintained a smile and engaged with the participants, which was wonderful.

真夏の京都は過酷と覚悟はしていましたが想像以上でした。
定番の名所を1日で4箇所も制覇でき大満足です。
ガイドさんが英語だけでなく日本語でも親切に名所の説明をしてくれました。

Our group was the only one with Japanese people, as everyone else was from overseas. The guide provided explanations in both English and Japanese, so there were no inconveniences. It was a trip that created many wonderful memories. However, I think it would have been better if we could have known in advance what kind of participants would be there.

海外の方ばかりで日本人は私達のグループだけでした。ガイドさんは英語と日本語の両方で説明をしていただき不便はなかったです。いい思い出がたくさんできた旅となりました。
でもできれば参加者がどのような方がいるとか事前にわかればよりいいなと思いました。

It was a very hot day. As expected, I was surprised by the number of foreign visitors. However, I was impressed by how hard the guide worked to provide information in Japanese. We had plenty of free time and were able to enjoy the hot summer in Kyoto at our own pace.

とても暑い１日でした。予想通りに外国人の方の多さにも驚きです。しかし、ガイドさんが一生懸命に日本語での案内に感動です。
自由時間が多く自分たちのペースで暑い夏の京都を堪能できました。

I chose this course at my grandchild's request.
The guide was kind, and the safe driving made for a pleasant sightseeing experience.

I participated in the tour on June 26. The bus guide explained in English, but also spoke in Japanese, which made it very easy to understand. At Kiyomizu-dera, they guided us to various places, and I had a great experience. It was a very satisfying tour. I would like to participate again when I visit Kyoto. Thank you very much.

It was a two-night, three-day trip, but due to the flight schedule, it felt like we only had one full day, so we booked a tour.

We walked a lot in the heat, but it was great that we could take the bus in between to cool off before heading to the next spot.

The guide was very kind and took many photos for us. We had extra time at Fushimi Inari and Kiyomizu-dera, but we barely made it to Kinkaku-ji, and I felt like we didn't have enough time at Arashiyama.

If I go to Kyoto again, I would like to book a plan for river rafting next time.

二泊三日の旅行でしたが、飛行機の時間もあり、実質一日しかないようなものだったので、ツアーを予約しました。

暑い中、たくさん歩きましたが、合間でバスに乗れるので、涼んでから次のスポットに行けて良かったです。

ガイドさんもとても親切で、たくさん写真を撮ってくれました。
伏見稲荷や清水寺は時間が余ったのですが、金閣寺はぎりぎり間に合い、嵐山は時間が足りないと感じました。

また京都に行くことがあれば、次は渓流下り？のプランなど予約してみたいです。

受付から、このツアーチームのプロフェッショナリズムを感じることができました。印刷されたツアー資料とツアーガイド（日本人女性のジュエルさん）による英語の紹介があり、訪問前に全体的な概要を把握することができました。訪問中、彼女は私たちのグループ写真を撮る手伝いをしてくれたり、妻のために熱いお湯を持ってきてくれたりしました。
天候はかなり暑く湿気がありましたが、美しい景色と訪問地の豊かな歴史にとても満足しました。最も重要なのは、ツアーガイドとドライバーがとても親切で助けてくれたことです。

From the reception, we can feel the professionalism of this tour team. With printed tour materials and English introduction from tour guide (Japanese Lady Ms Jewell), we can get some general view before visiting. During visit, she helped us taking group photos and even helped to fetch some hot water for my wife.
Though the weather was quite hot and humid, but we still felt very satisfied with the beautiful view and rich history of visiting points. Most importantly, the tour guide and driver are very friendly and helpful.

This is more of an experience report or feedback, but the tour guide was very kind and unique, making the experience enjoyable. However, I was looking forward to the Kyoto tofu meal that was included, but unfortunately, there was only a little bit of tofu, which was disappointing.

体験談というか感想になってしまいますが、添乗員さんがとても親切かつユニークな方で、楽しく参加させていただきました。でも、京豆腐御膳付きってあったので楽しみにしていたのですが、豆腐がほんの少ししかなくて残念でした。

I am Japanese and participated alone. The guide (a Japanese person) provided explanations in English for inbound guests. There were several Japanese participants, including myself. The schedule was followed, and there was free time at various locations, allowing for a certain degree of relaxation.

【Points of Concern】
The guide's treatment towards me was somewhat dismissive.

(1) When I arrived at the bus stop before the meeting time, the guide said, "I forgot my smartphone at the bus stop. What time is it now?" and then poked my smartphone that I was holding with his finger quite forcefully. Even if there was no ill intent, what? That was too rude. It's not yours! Don't touch other people's things without permission!

(2) During lunch at Kiyomizu Temple, the guide explained to a foreign traveler who ordered the same meal as me, "If you don't know how to eat it, just watch how she (pointing at me) eats and learn!" while laughing (in English).
Huh? It's my first time eating this too, so don't say such careless things! You might have thought I didn't understand English, but I major in foreign language literature and can understand the guide's English just fine.
(In the end, I was able to ask the restaurant staff how to eat it. The foreign traveler didn't ask me about how to eat it.)

【Was the treatment towards foreigners polite...?】
While I felt the treatment towards me was rough, I noticed that the inbound guests were treated very kindly. Even though it was a 9:30 departure, they waited for foreign travelers who were 5-10 minutes late (which caused a slight delay in our departure), and the schedule was explained repeatedly. Was it really necessary to say the same thing so many times? It felt overly protective, like a mother. Was it too much?

日本人です。一人で参加しました。
インバウンドのお客さん向けのためガイドさん(日本人)は英語での説明です。私含め何組か日本人参加者もおりました。　スケジュールどおりに回れるのと、各所で自由時間が設けられるので、ある程度はのびのびできました。

【気になった点】
担当ガイドさんの私への対応がちょっとした対応です。

(1)集合時間前にバス停へ来た時、「スマホをバス停の中に忘れてしまった。いま何時？」と仰って、私が手に持ってたスマホを指でポンポン強めに叩いたこと。悪気はないにせよ、何？失礼すぎるやろ。あんたのもんちゃうで！人様のもんに勝手に触らんといてや！

(2)清水寺のランチにて。私と同じ御膳を頼んだ外国人旅行者に対して、「食べ方が分からなかったら、日本人の彼女(私の方を手で刺して)の食べ方を見て習ってね〜」などとケラケラ笑って説明してること(英語)。
(ﾟДﾟ)ﾊｧ〜?私だって初めての食事なんやぞ、適当なこと抜かすな！
英語がわからないからって思ってたんかもしれんが、こちらは外国語文学の専攻や、ガイドさんの喋る英語くらい、私も分かるで？
(結局、レストランのスタッフさんに食べ方は伺えました。外国人の方からも食べ方については聞かれませんでした)

【外国人への対応は丁寧…？】
私への対応は雑に感じましたが、一方のインバウンドのお客様にはメチャ優しかったと感じます。9時半出発なのに5〜10分遅れた外国人旅行者はまってあげたり(その御蔭でちょっと出発時間遅れたな)、タイムスケジュールの説明を幾度となく行ったり。そんな何度も同じこと言わんでもええんちゃう？過保護過ぎなオカンみたいな感じでした。オーバーTooリズムでは？

It was a fulfilling trip with my daughter, who was visiting Kyoto for the first time. We were able to visit four sightseeing spots. The guide was very kind and wonderful. The sightseeing bus tour was very enjoyable.

京都に初めて行く娘と二人旅。観光名所を4ヵ所も回れて充実した旅行になりました。ガイドの方がとても優しくて素晴らしかったです。観光バスの旅はとても楽でした。

We participated with a friend in a day trip to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera, and Arashiyama. In the morning, it rained heavily like a storm, but the forecast said it would clear up by noon, and indeed, the rain stopped before noon, gradually turning into a beautiful blue sky.

We walked more than we expected, and by the time we arrived at Arashiyama, our legs were shaking. Just when we were worried about whether we could walk any further, a rickshaw appeared in front of us! My friend suggested we ride it, and I agreed! So, we took our very first rickshaw ride. What impressed us the most was the character of the rickshaw puller. He stopped at various points to take photos for us, and he was like a skilled photographer. The shots he took looked like they were from a studio, and both my friend and I were moved by them. The fatigue in our legs disappeared in an instant, and it became a lifelong memory.

The tour guide and the driver were also wonderful people. I truly felt that I would love to travel with them again on a bus trip. It was a fantastic bus trip. Thank you very much.

伏見稲荷大社より清水寺、嵐山を1日で巡れるものならと友人と参加させていただきました。
午前中は嵐のような雨で昼から上がる予報の雨は午前中の内にあがり、次第に青空へと快晴に変わりました。
思った以上の歩きに、嵐山に着く時には足はガクガク。歩けるだろうかと心配していた私達の目の前には人力車が！！友人が乗って見ようよ！私もいいね！と思いは一致し、人生初の人力車に乗りました。何より感動したのは、人力車を引く方の人柄、所々で止まって下さり、写真を撮って下さいましたが腕の良いカメラマンのよう。スタジオで撮影して頂いたようなショットばかりに私も友人も感動し、足の疲れも一瞬で吹っ飛び、一生の思い出になりました。

添乗員さん、運転手さんのお人柄も最高でした。
また、この方達とご一緒にバス旅行でお会いしたいなと心から思えた素敵なバス旅行になりました。

The guide is experienced and provides information in both English and Japanese. It feels like a little trip abroad. It's a busy tour, and you must strictly adhere to the schedule.

I was quite anxious that the guide would only speak English, but it was great that the tour conductor and the driver provided explanations in Japanese as well. The tour conductor was charming and easy to talk to, and the driver was kind and drove safely. I would like to use this service again.

ガイドが英語のみかなとかなり不安でしたが、添乗員さんや運転手さんがキチンと日本語でも説明してくれて良かったです。添乗員さんもチャーミングな方で話しかけ安かったですし運転手さんも優しくて、安全運転で良かったです。また、利用したいです。

行きたい観光地に連れて行ってくれて、バス移動で楽でした。ただ、インバウンド客向けとは思わずに申し込んだら、まさかの日本人は自分たちを含めて2組でビックリしました。

I participated in the Kyoto bus tour with Veltra for the first time. On the day of the tour, the explanations from the tour guide were clear, and the English explanations for the international guests were easy to understand. It was a fun bus tour. Thank you to the guide and the driver.
