At first, I made a reservation through another site, but I was kindly informed over the phone that booking through VELTRA would be more advantageous. The instructor on the day was also very polite, and I was able to easily enjoy both SUP and snorkeling for the first time. They took a lot of photos, so I think it will become a wonderful travel memory.

最初は他のサイトから予約したのですが、VELTRAから予約するとお得だとご丁寧にお電話で教えてもらいました。
当日のインストラクターの方も大変丁寧で、初めてのSUPもシュノーケリングも難なくできました。写真もたくさん撮っていただけるので、素晴らしい旅の思い出になると思います。

It was the off-season, so there weren't many people, and the guide was very attentive. Thank you, Obara!

オフシーズンだったので、あまり人が多くなく、ガイドさんもつきっきりでやっていただきました。小原さんありがとう！

One of our members wasn't very good at swimming, so we chose snorkeling instead of diving. If you cling to the float on the way to the snorkeling point, they will carry you, and I think it's safe. We were fortunate with the weather, but because of that, there were many people, so be careful of beginner divers suddenly surfacing. The staff at the shop were very kind and reassuring. The sea is incredibly beautiful, so for those who usually don't dive, just putting your face in the water will bring great joy from the stunning underwater scenery and tropical fish.

あまり泳ぎの得意でないメンバーがいたので、ダイビングではなくシュノーケルにしました。
ポイントまで、フロートにしがみついていれば、運んでくれますし、危険はないと思います。
天候には恵まれましたが、その分人が多くて突然浮上してくる初心者ダイバーには気をつけてください。
ショップの方もとても親切で安心です。
とても綺麗な海なので、普段ダイビングをしない人だと顔をつけているだけで、広がる美しい海中と熱帯魚に大喜びだと思います。

The guide was very kind, and we were able to feed the animals and enjoy the beautiful scenery! If you're looking for a blue cave experience, this is definitely the place! I highly recommend it!

I participated in the morning half-day tour on June 4th!

It was my first time snorkeling, and I felt a bit anxious about going alone. However, the staff were friendly and explained everything clearly, which quickly eased my worries.

The waters around Kerama were incredibly beautiful, with deep shades of blue and green that left me in awe. I loved seeing the shimmering schools of fish. If I could wish for more, I would have liked to see a turtle too.

I appreciated the hotel pickup service! They also took photos, which made for great memories. I definitely want to participate again. Thank you!

初めてのシュノーケリング、一人参加に不安をおぼえつつの参加でした。スタッフの皆さんが気さくで、わかりやすく教えてくれたのですぐに不安はふっとびました。

慶良間の海はとてもきれいで深い碧と青に感動。魚の群れがキラキラ見えてすごくよかった。よくをいえば亀にも会いたかったなぁ。

We paddled a canoe and landed in the jungle! When we explored towards the waterfall, we were amazed by its beauty! The kids loved jumping into the plunge pool and tried it several times. On the way back, the tide was low, so we landed in the mangroves and were able to observe many creatures! It was so much fun to experience nature from different angles.

カヌーを漕いて、ジャングルに上陸！滝に向けて探検したら、綺麗な滝に感動！子供は滝壺に飛び降りるのは大好きで、何回もやてみた。
帰りは潮を引いて、マングローブに上陸して、たくさんの生物を観察できた！自然をいろんな角度で触れて、めちゃ楽しかった。

The wind was strong, so instead of SUP at Kawahira Bay, we did SUP on the river, but it was still a lot of fun. There were plenty of activities like snorkeling and exploring caves, so I was satisfied. The staff's polite service was also great.

風が強く川平湾でのSUPではなく、川でのSUPとなりましたが十分楽しかったです。
シュノーケル、洞窟など盛りだくさんでしたので満足しました。
従業員の方も丁寧な接客も良かったです。

I have snorkeled for decades all over the world--Blue Cave is a treasure. The staff at Bokenjima took wonderful care of me (even though they spoke barely any English, it didn't matter in the water!). This is an experience not to be missed.

Such an incredible day! From the very beginning everything ran smoothly thanks to the beautiful staff who tried their best to speak English and accommodate to everyones needs, including a bus pickup service from my front door step in the morning and return at the end of the day!
On arrival we were able to store valuables, given a great quality wetsuit to wear for the day and welcomed onto the boat for the day where complimentary drinks and lunch were provided (vegetarian friendly!) as well as shower, changeroom and toilet facilities and a great safety briefing and run down of the day from staff in various languages.
The stops were incredible and thanks to the staff we were able to download images of each destination for free which will definitley be held onto for years! The water was warm and as stunning kerama blue as you expect and we were lucky enough to see so many fish and a few turtles whilst exploring!
Overall a really great and unforgettable day which ultimately came down to a really well working team of guides!
Tip for anyone going on this, regardless of if you have a history of travel sickness, bring some medication with you and some sun protection!

The attendant was kind, and even though it was my first time snorkeling, I felt at ease. Even someone like me, who is very prone to seasickness, was able to go, so I definitely recommend trying it at least once.

アテンダーのお兄さんも優しく初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが安心してできました。船酔いに弱すぎる僕でも、行けたので一度は行った方がいいですね。

I originally booked a one-day tour, but due to my mistake, I realized I wouldn't make it in time for the boat after the tour, so I urgently changed to a half-day tour the day before. It was during the rainy season, and the forecast was cloudy with occasional rain, so I gave up on snorkeling and opted for a tour that included only trekking and canoeing.

I was picked up from the Paina Maya Hotel at 9:30 and arrived at Monsoon about 30 minutes later. It was a nice viewpoint with a view of the sea beyond the forest, and there were two horses while we waited for the other guests to arrive. Once everyone was gathered, we moved by car to the canoe launch site.

We boarded the canoe aiming for the Pinaisara Falls, progressing through the mangroves. The weather was cloudy and the temperature was just right, and we arrived at the canoe drop-off point in about 30 minutes. From there, we aimed for the waterfall basin on foot. We climbed for about 30 minutes through a muddy jungle, navigating rocky areas and many roots, until we reached the waterfall basin. The water splashes felt refreshing, and the height of 50 meters was impressive. Here, we had some free time to eat the lunch that the staff brought and take photos. After about an hour, we returned the same way.

Most of the staff were in their 20s, very friendly, and helped create a lively atmosphere.

◎ Other guests
There was a group of 10 people and two solo female travelers. I got along well with the solo travel group.

◎ Clothing
The canoe ride can get your pants quite wet. They provide shoes, hats, and waterproof bags for rent.

Thank you for accommodating the change in the tour content despite the short notice. Since it seems there are accommodations available, I would like to visit again for an overnight stay next time.

元々こちらの１日ツアーを申し込んでいましたが、私の手違いで、ツアー後乗る船に間に合わない事が発覚し、急遽前日に半日ツアーに変更して頂きました。ちょうど梅雨時で、曇り時々雨との予報だったので、シュノーケリングは諦め、トレッキング、カヌーのみのツアーに。
パイヌマヤホテルから９時半に送迎して頂き、30分程でモンスーンさんに到着。森の向こうに海の見える見晴らしのいい高台で、馬が2頭いて、ほかのお客さんが到着するまで少し待機。
みんな揃ったら車でカヌー乗り場まで移動。
ピナイサーラの滝を目指してカヌーに乗船。
マングローブの中を進みます。曇りで気温もちょうど良く、30分くらいでカヌー降り場に到着。
ここからトレッキングで滝壺を目指します。ぬかるんだジャングルの中、途中岩場や根っこが多い道を30分ほど登っていき、滝壺に到着。
水しぶきが気持ちよくて、50メートルの高さに圧感です。ここで、スタッフさんが持ってきてくれたお弁当を食べたり、写真とったりゆっくり自由時間。1時間ほどしてから元の道を帰りました。

一人旅グループさんと仲良くさせていただきました。

カヌーで結構ズボンが濡れます。
靴、帽子、防水バッグは貸し出ししてくれます。


今回は、急だったにも関わらず、ツアーの内容を変更して頂きありがとうございました。
宿泊施設もあるようなので、今度は泊まりで訪れたいと思います。

This is my second time participating. The instructor was the same as last time, Mr. Osaka. The conversation was enjoyable, and I was the only one there, so I could talk without worrying about others. This time the weather was good, and unlike last time when the fish wouldn't come close without bait, this time many fish came close enough to reach without any bait. The Blue Cave was truly vibrant blue, and depending on the angle, it occasionally changed to a greenish color, which was very beautiful. I'm not very confident in my physical strength as I'm nearing my sixties, but with snorkeling, as long as I float, I can easily be taken to the "Blue Cave." I participated alone again this time and had many photos taken, but next time I definitely want to bring my wife along.

今回で2回目の参加です。
インストラクター前回と同じ大坂さん。
会話も楽しく、しかも私一人の貸し切り状態で、周りに気兼ねなく話す事が出来ました。
今回は天候もよく、魚も前回は餌がないと近くに来てくれませんでしたが、今回は餌が無くても近くに手が届くくらいにたくさんの魚が寄って来てくれました。
青の洞窟も本当に青々していて、角度によっては時折緑がかった色に変わり大変奇麗でした。
体力に自信ない還暦近くの私ですが、シュノーケリングは浮いていれば「青の洞窟」まで連れて行ってもらえるので大変楽に参加できます。
今回も一人の参加で写真もたくさん撮っていただきましたが、次回こそ家内を連れて参加したいと思います。

I was worried about whether I could dive with my 3-year-old son on the underwater scooter for the first time, but the staff provided thorough explanations and made the experience enjoyable, allowing us to dive happily! We were thrilled to be able to touch the fish. We also enjoyed the conversations, creating wonderful memories, and developed knowledge and interest in the ocean and its creatures.

初めての潜水スクーター、3才の息子と一緒に潜る事が出来るか不安でしたが、お店の方の丁寧な説明や楽しく和ませて下さいり、楽しく潜る事が出来ました！！
お魚さんにも触れる事ができ、興奮しまくりでした。
会話も楽しめて、良い思い出でになりましたし、海や生き物の知識や興味を持つ事もできました。

I participated in a half-day tour on Wednesday morning, May 22, 2019. It was my first time snorkeling, and I was anxious, but I had a great time. I was scared because I couldn't remove the instructor's flotation device until the end, so I wasn't able to swim on my own, which was disappointing. Next time I go to Okinawa, I plan to challenge myself to swim independently! I was really happy to see many beautiful fish and coral reefs in Okinawa. After a break, we went to a spot for snorkeling where we could see turtles, but unfortunately, I didn't see any, maybe because of my bad luck. I hope to see turtles next time I visit Okinawa! I also thought it would have been nice to have a photo service for the fish we saw that day. I was pleased that there was a drink service during our break on the boat! Additionally, I truly appreciate the round-trip transportation to and from the hotel. Thank you very much! I would like to use this service again!

2019.05.22水曜日午前中半日ツアーに参加しました(^ ^)シュノーケリングが初めてで不安でしたが楽しめました(^.^)明日が付かないので怖くてインストラクターの浮き具を最後まで外せなくて自力で泳げなかったのが残念でした。次回また沖縄に行った際は自力で泳げるようにリベンジしようと思います！沖縄の綺麗な魚やサンゴ礁を沢山見れて嬉しかったです(^.^)休憩を挟み2回目のシュノーケリングの時に亀がいるスポットに行きましたが日頃の行いが悪いのか見れませんでした。また沖縄に行った時には亀が見れたらいいなと思います！
その日に見ることができたお魚の写真も写真サービスにあればよかったなと思います！船で休憩中に飲み物のサービスがあったのは嬉しかったです！また、ホテルまで往復の送迎もして下さり本当に感謝です！ありがとうございました(^ ^)また利用したいです！

Previously, when I visited Ishigaki Island, I unfortunately couldn't go to Iriomote Island due to the weather, so this time I participated in the long-awaited kayak tour on Iriomote Island.

There are several tour companies offering kayak tours on Iriomote Island, but I chose this course for four reasons.

1. "You can experience both the Pinaisara Waterfall basin and the top of the waterfall."
→ Surprisingly, many courses only offer one or the other. But if I'm going, I wanted to experience the negative ions at the basin and the stunning views from the top!

2. "All necessary items like shoes and backpacks can be rented."
→ If I were to bring beach and diving gear, along with stylish clothes like dresses, it would become quite a burden to carry kayak and trekking equipment as well. Since I don't own many of these items, being able to rent everything on-site is super convenient! All I needed to bring were a change of clothes, a towel, and some money!

3. "Services like showers and luggage management are well-equipped."
→ I want to experience nature, but I'm not used to the inconveniences of the outdoors. So, having shower and luggage management services was very reassuring!

4. "The reviews were good."
→ Since this could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I didn't want to make a mistake with the tour company! Therefore, I felt very secure with the number of reviews and the high ratings!

These four points were important when I applied, but what I appreciated most during the actual participation were:

1. "The guides were kind, funny, and amazing!"
→ There were three guides for our group of eight, and they were always friendly, engaging with all participants, which created a warm atmosphere where everyone could enjoy together, even those meeting for the first time.

2. "The facilities and rental items were very clean."
→ Many outdoor facilities can lack cleanliness, but both the showers and the facilities were kept very clean. I had no hesitation wearing the rental shoes, backpack, and life jacket.

3. "There were many international guests, and the international atmosphere was refreshing."
→ I was surprised that five out of the eight participants were from abroad. I didn't expect to interact with foreigners in Okinawa, but it was very enjoyable to chat during the tour. Additionally, the guides spoke English, actively engaging with everyone and creating an atmosphere where everyone could have fun regardless of nationality.

4. "They took lots of photos, and I received the data on-site after the tour."
→ I didn't have a waterproof camera, and during kayaking and trekking, I was too focused to take many photos, so I was grateful that the guides took many pictures. The dive photos at the waterfall basin were especially memorable! I was also very happy to receive the data on my phone right after the tour.

5. "The handmade Yaeyama soba and sweets were exquisite."
→ At the top of the waterfall, we enjoyed hot Yaeyama soba, and at the basin, we had handmade Okinawan sweets. Both were incredibly delicious and revitalized my tired body!

I know this is a long review, but for those considering a tour on Iriomote Island, I believe you will be very satisfied not only with the content of the tour but also with the quality of the tour and the hospitality of the guides.

I personally look forward to participating again!

以前、石垣島を訪れた際、あいにくの天気で西表島には行けず、今回念願の西表島のカヤックツアーに参加させていただきました。

西表島のカヤックツアーを提供しているツアー会社はいくつかありますが、
今回このコースを選択した理由としては、4つあります。

　1. 「ピナイサーラの滝つぼ＆滝うえのどちらも体験できること」
　　→意外と滝つぼ・滝うえどちらか一方のコースが多い。
　　　でも、せっかく行くなら滝つぼのマイナスイオンと、滝うえの絶景を体験したかった！

　2. 「シューズやリュック等の必要品は全てレンタルできること」
　　→石垣島でビーチやダイビングの体験や、ワンピース等のおしゃれ着もとなると、カヤック＆トレッキング用品も持っていくとなると大荷物になっちゃう。。
　　　そもそも持っていないものも多いので、必要品が全て現地でレンタルできるのは、とっても便利！持っていくものは、「着替え・タオル・お金」くらい！

　3. 「シャワーや荷物管理等のサービスも充実していること」
　　→大自然を体験したいけど、自然の不便さには慣れていない。。
　　　となると、シャワーや荷物管理サービスはとっても安心！

　4. 「口コミがよかったこと」
　　→もしかしたら一生に一度の体験になるかもしれないので、ツアー会社で失敗はしたくない！
　　　なので、口コミ件数や高評価な内容にとっても安心！


以上4点は、申し込み時のポイントですが、
実際に参加をしてよかった点は、

　1. 「ガイドさんが優しくて面白くて最高！」
　　→8名のグループに対して3名のガイドさんがついてくれたのですが、終始優しくて、参加者全員に対して話しかけてくれたので、初めまして同志の参加者も、和やかな雰囲気で全員で楽しむことができました。

　2. 「設備やレンタル品がとても清潔」
　　→アウトドア関連の設備は清潔感に期待できないところが少なくないですが、シャワーも施設内もとても清潔に保たれていました。
　　　また、レンタル品のシューズやリュック、ライフガード？等も全く抵抗なく着用することができました。

　3. 「外国からのお客さんが多く、インターナショナルな雰囲気が新鮮」
　　→参加者8名中5名が外国からのお客様だったのが、とても意外でした。
　　　沖縄で外国籍の方との交流ができるとは思っていませんでしたが、ツアー中にお話しができたり、とても楽しかったです。また、ガイドさんも英語ができるので、積極的にお話されて、国籍に関わらずみんなが楽しめる雰囲気を作ってくださった姿に感心しました。

　4. 「写真もたくさん撮ってくれ、ツアー終了後にその場でデータをもらえる」
　　→防水カメラを持っておらず、またカヤック中やトレッキング中は割と必死で写真を撮ることはできなかったのですが、ガイドさんがたくさん写真を撮ってくれてありがたかったです。特に、滝つぼへのダイブ写真は記念になりました！
　　　ツアー終了後、すぐに携帯にデータを転送していただけるのも、とても嬉しかったです。

　5. 「手作り八重山そばとスイーツが絶品」
　　→滝うえでは、熱々の八重山そば、滝つぼでは手作り沖縄スイーツをいただきました。どちらも大変美味しく、疲れた体に染みわたりました！


長くなりましたが、西表島のツアーを検討している方には、
ツアーの内容のみではなく、ツアーのクオリティーやガイドさんのホスピタリティーにも大変満足されると思います。

私自身、また参加できることを心待ちにしています♪

The shop Bokenjima is very neat and organized
Our guides were two lovely young ladies, very cheerful and took good care of us especially my husband. This was his first snorkel experience
He enjoyed fully and amazed by the fishes
We were guided to the cave and took many pictures
The Blue Cave is very popular attraction, it was very crowded
We saw many divers too, many I believe its their 1st time
These dive guides really good, each hand holding 1 to 3 divers
Anyway I can see that these are very easy dive sites, calm and relax
After the snorkel, we took a short boat ride, we walked back to the shop. There we have a nice shower, collected the CD
Very happy & satisfied with the guides and overall service
Highly recommend!

Initially, we had planned to do SUP at Kabira Bay, but due to unfortunate bad weather, we changed to SUP in the mangroves. There was another couple with us, making a total of four participants. I had never done SUP before and thought I might not even be able to get on, but my husband was able to stand and ride from the very beginning. The other woman and I paddled while sitting. It was quite difficult at first; we couldn't go in the direction we wanted and struggled to gain speed, but thanks to the staff's careful guidance, I managed to muster the courage to stand and ride partway through.

In the afternoon, we were scheduled to go snorkeling at the Blue Cave and then move to a waterfall for shower climbing, but it was canceled due to high waves. Since we didn't have any other plans in mind, we asked the staff if there was anything else we could do, and they suggested SUP at a place called Futsuu River, which we participated in. It was wider than the mangroves we visited in the morning and had a sense of openness with not many other people around. They also quickly sent us the photos taken that day, which became a wonderful memory. Thank you, staff member Kuri-chan, for taking care of us all day! I hope to come back next year and have a revenge SUP at Kabira Bay with PIPI again!

It was a day full of satisfaction! The muscle pain the next day was terrible, though... haha.

当初は川平湾でのSUPの予定でしたが、あいにくの悪天候だったためマングローブでのSUPに変更になりました。私たちの他にカップルがもう一組いて、計4人での参加となりました。SUPはやったことがなく、乗ることすら出来ないのではないかと思いましたが、主人の方は最初から立って乗ることが出来ました。私と、もう一人の女性は座りながら漕ぎました。中々最初は難しく、行きたい方向に行けなかったり上手くスピードが出せなかったりしましたが、スタッフの方の丁寧なご指導もあり、途中から勇気を出して立って乗ることも出来ました。
午後は青の洞窟でのシュノーケリングと滝へ移動しての、シャワークライミングの予定でしたが、波が高いため中止になってしまいました。私たちは特に他の予定は考えていなかったためスタッフさんに何か他のプランで出来ることはありませんか？と聞いたところ吹通川という所でのSUPをご提案してれて参加しました。午前に行ったマングローブよりも広く他にあまり人が居なく開放感に溢れてました。その日に撮った写真も直ぐに送ってくださりとても良い記念になりました。スタッフのクリちゃん！一日中面倒みてくれてありがとう！また来年もPIPIさんにお世話になって川平湾でのリベンジSUPが出来たら良いなと思いました！
一日、大満足のプランでした！翌日の筋肉痛はヒドかったですが…笑。

I participated in the Blue Cave snorkeling experience starting at 7 AM. In the morning, there were very few tourists snorkeling, so we were able to enjoy the Blue Cave all to ourselves. Additionally, we were able to take many photos, which was great. Thank you very much.

朝7時から青の洞窟シュノーケリング体験に参加させていただきました。朝方はシュノーケリングに来ている観光客は非常に少なく、青の洞窟を貸し切りで楽しむことができました。また、写真も多く撮っていただき大変良かったです。ありがとうございました。

As expected, it was cloudy, but I had a great time.

I enjoyed snorkeling and felt refreshed under the waterfall, making the most of my day.

案の定、曇りでしたが、、楽しめました。


sup、シュノーケル、滝で洗い流すって感じで、1日を満喫できました。

The day I made the reservation was forecasted to rain, and it was pouring on the morning of the day itself... I was very grateful for the suggestion to either cancel the reservation the day before or reschedule for the following day, and I went ahead with the change as recommended.

On the rescheduled day, the sky was clear and perfect for parasailing. I was with my elementary school-aged daughters (2nd and 4th grade), and they seemed anxious until we took off, but once we were in the air, it was more stable than on the boat, allowing our family to create irreplaceable memories while sharing the breathtaking views.

The service on the boat and the follow-up at the port were both very attentive and excellent. I definitely want to come back here next time and try other marine activities as well.

予約した日が雨予報で、当日朝も土砂降り…
前日のうちにキャンセルするか翌日にリスケするかご提案頂き、大変有難くご提案の通り翌日に変更させていただきました。
リスケした当日、空は晴れ渡り絶好のパラセーリング日和。小学生（2、4年生女子）と一緒で、飛ぶまでは不安な様子でしたが、上空は船よりも安定していて家族全員で絶景を共有するかけがえのない思い出を作る事ができました。
船上でのサービスも港でのフォローもとても丁寧で最高でした。次回も是非こちらにお世話になり、他のマリンアクティビティにもチャレンジしてみたいと思います。

I found out about this tour online and signed up because it looked fun. It was even more thrilling than I imagined, and I had a great time!
The zip slide, in particular, was set up efficiently by our guide, and I was able to experience something out of the ordinary!

インターネットでこのツアーを知り、楽しそうだったので申し込みました。が、想像以上にスリル満点で、とても楽しかったです！
特にジップスライドはガイドさんがその場で手際よくセッティングしてくださり、非日常を味わうことができました！

The activities are exactly as said in the program. The pick-up and drop-off service is very on a timely manner. Staffs are very friendly and helpful although communication in English is limited but it's not a burden for a joyful snorkeling experience. All gears are in good condition and there's no need to bring any personal item as all are well prepared for you. The Captain is very knowledgeable on the weather conditions and snorkeling spot as we're there on the rainy day but he managed to move us around without facing any rain or storm. I'd recommend everyone to experience this tour, the price they charge is very reasonable. I'll definitely join this tour again if I'm back to Naha.

Whenever I see a jungle exploration program on TV, I often think that I would like to go someday.

Nature spreads out before me, and we walk along paths that have no trails. We become familiar with the island while learning about the names and origins of wild animals and trees.

On this trip to Barasu Island and Pinai Sara Falls, I was able to experience such a grand adventure, almost untouched by human hands.

The guide carefully explained the local flora and fauna, and by learning about the island's formation, I was able to enjoy Iriomote Island even more.

Thank you for serving warm tea at the waterfall basin and providing brown sugar on the boat whenever we wanted it.

The kayak journey through the mangrove forest to Pinai Sara Falls is sure to leave you in awe as you encounter the scenery transitioning from narrow tributaries to wide river expanses.

If I catch Iriomote fever, I will fly back from Tokyo again.

テレビでジャングル探検番組があると、いつか行ってみたいなぁと思うことがしばしばありました。

目の前に自然が広がり、自分たちの足で道無き道を歩いていく。そして、野生の動物や木々の名前や由来を聞きながら島に親しむ。

今回のバラス島とピナイサーラの滝では、ほとんど人の手が加えられていない、そんな大冒険を味わうことができました。

ガイドの方は地元の動植物を丁寧に解説してくれて、島の成り立ちを知ることで、より一層西表島が楽しめます。

滝壺では暖かいお茶を出してくれたり、船の上でも黒糖を欲しい時に提供していただき、ありがとうございます。

ピナイサーラの滝までのマングローブ林のなかを進むカヤックは、細い支流から大きくひらけた川幅に差し掛かるその景色に大感動すること間違いなし。

西表病に罹ったらまた東京から飛んできます。

We participated as a family of three. It was our first time trying SUP. Even I, who can't swim, and my 6-year-old daughter found it very easy and fun to do while sitting down! However, the next day, my shoulders were sore from the muscle strain, haha. There was a two-hour break, but there weren't many places to explore... We had lunch and just waited for the time to pass. I had experienced snorkeling once before in the afternoon, and at that time, the instructor was a young woman, so my daughter was able to float happily with her floatie. This time, the instructor was a handsome young man, and my daughter seemed nervous and ended up crying, haha. Because of that, one instructor had to focus entirely on her, and I apologize to the other participants for the inconvenience. Since I can't swim either, we took up some time, but I was grateful that he didn't show any annoyance and stayed with us! However, the path from the car to the sea was muddy from the previous day's rain, which was a bit scary, haha. The waterfall was also impressive with its cold, clear water. My daughter and I couldn't do the Tarzan swing, but my husband enjoyed it. Lastly, the fresh juice shop we were taken to had the best juice! It mentioned in the preparation list to bring a change of clothes, but we participated in our swimsuits, moved in our swimsuits, and were sent back in our swimsuits, so a change of clothes wasn't necessary. Just a towel, a drink, and lunch money were enough. We took a lot of photos and had a satisfying day!

家族3人で参加させて頂きました。SUPは初挑戦でした。泳げない私も6歳の娘も座った状態でできるのでとても簡単で楽しかったです！ただ次の日は肩が筋肉痛に笑。休憩時間が2時間ありましたが、あまり回る場所もなく…お昼を食べ、ただただ時間が来るのを待つのみと言った感じでした。午後からのシュノーケルは1度体験した事あったんですが、その時はインストラクターの方がお姉さんだった事もあり娘も浮輪でプカプカ浮いてニコニコで参加できたのですが、今回はイケメンのお兄さんで娘も緊張したのか、泣いてしまいました笑。そのせいで、インストラクターのお兄さん1人が娘につきっきりになってしまい、ほかの参加者の方にご迷惑をおかけしてしまい申し訳なかったです。私も泳げない事もあり、時間を取らせてしまいましたが、嫌な顔一つせず、付き合って頂きありがたかったです！ただ、車から海までの道のりが前日の雨でぬかるんでいて、怖かったです笑笑。滝壺も、冷たい綺麗な水に感動。さすがに私と娘はターザンはできませんでしたが、主人は楽しんでいました。最後に連れて行ってもらった生ジュースのお店のジュースも最高でした！用意するものに着替えと書いてありましたが、水着で参加して水着で移動して、水着で送ってもらえるので着替えは必要なかったです。タオルと飲み物、お昼ゴハン代だけで十分でした。写真もたくさん撮って頂き満足な一日を過ごさせて頂きました！

On the last day of my trip, I was looking for morning activities since I had a flight scheduled in the afternoon, and I decided on this one! The weather was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed stand-up paddleboarding in the crystal-clear Kabira Bay. Above all, the guide was cheerful and really energized the atmosphere, and their explanations were thorough, which made me feel at ease. I was also very grateful that they took many memorable photos for me, as they wanted me to create lots of memories. They suggested various poses, and I received many great pictures! We finished by noon, and since I had some time before my flight, they also gave me advice on how to spend the remaining time. Thank you very much! 😊

旅行最終日、15時台の飛行機に乗る予定のため、午前中のアクティビティを探しており、こちらに決めました！天気も良く、透き通る川平湾でのサップを存分に楽しめました。何より、ガイドさんが明るく、場を盛り上げてくれましたし、説明もしっかりしていただけたので、安心して実施できました。『思い出をたくさん残してほしい』と、記念になる写真をいっぱい撮っていただけたのもとてもありがたかったです。色々なポーズを提案してもらえて、いい写真がたくさんいただけました！12時には終了し、飛行機まで少し時間があったので、残りの時間の過ごし方もアドバイスしてもらえました！ありがとうございました(^^)

I wanted to challenge myself with the Pinai Sara Falls, so I made a reservation, prepared for the Golden Week crowds.

The weather forecast for the day before was rain, but it was sunny all day, allowing us to enjoy canoeing and trekking in a very calm atmosphere! I heard that sunny days are quite rare on Iriomote Island, so I was told we were lucky!

There were over ten participants, and three guides shared the responsibilities.

What impressed me the most throughout the day was the strong teamwork among the guides! All three guides were very kind, teaching us various things and making us laugh. It was clear they got along well, and even though we were divided into teams, I felt no anxiety and was able to enjoy myself with any of the guides!

Personally, I was touched by how one of the guides encouraged a little boy who looked anxious, asking him, "Have you ever been in a canoe?" and reassuring him, "Then you'll be fine! You're strong!" Such thoughtful care.

In reality, even for those who aren't small children, the trekking path was quite steep, and as someone who doesn't usually experience this, I found myself panting and struggling at times (laughs). However, the guides adjusted their pace to help us, which was a relief.

When we finally arrived at the top of the falls, the view was truly magnificent!

And the handmade Yaeyama soba we had there was exquisite! (It was the best Yaeyama soba I had on Iriomote and Ishigaki!) Plus, the cute Shisa-shaped kamaboko was a delightful touch. I can recommend this alone, but then we had to overcome more steep paths to reach the swimming area at the base of the falls, which was an absolute thrill. Personally, I found the view from the base of the falls even more stunning than from the top, so for those who are anxious about trekking, I think you can enjoy the swimming area just fine.

Canoeing was easier than I expected, and I was able to paddle at a leisurely pace. (I had no muscle soreness in my arms the next day, haha.) I never thought it would feel so good to glide through the mangroves!

The tour lasted from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, so I was a bit tired, but I believe it was a tour packed with the charm of Iriomote Island. If anyone is hesitating, I highly recommend it.

One concern I would like to mention is that although the tour proceeds rain or shine, I felt that trekking would be quite difficult in the rain. (This is just my opinion as someone who doesn't usually trek, so I think experienced trekkers would be fine.) There were quite a few rocky areas where I wondered, "Where should I grab?" So, depending on the weather, it might be better not to push yourself too hard.

The facilities were new and clean, with both toilets and showers! There are also secure lockers for valuables, which made me feel very safe.

ピナイサーラの滝に挑戦したく、GW混雑覚悟で予約。

前日の天気は雨予報でしたが、当日は終始晴れていてとても穏やかにカヌーもトラッキングもできました！
(聞くところ、西表島は終日晴れの日がとても少ないらしく、運が良かったですねーと言ってもらいました！)


参加者は10名以上いて、3名のガイドさんで分担して担当してくれました。

１日ご一緒して、一番心強かったのがガイドさん同士の連携強さ！
3名のガイドさん皆様とても親切で、色々なことを教えてくれたり、笑わせてくれたりはもちろん、とても仲が良いのが伝わってきて、チーム分担されても、どのガイドさんについても、不安なく楽しむことができました！

個人的には小さい男の子が、不安そうにしているのを、ずっと「カヌー乗ったことある？」「それじゃあ大丈夫だ！強いね！」と励ましていたのが印象的でした。素敵な心遣いです。


実際、小さい子でなくても、トレッキングはなかなか険しい山道なので、(普段経験のない私は)ぜえぜえはあはあ、きつい！と音を上げそうになる場面もありましたが(笑)ガイドのお兄さんたちが、ペースに合わせてくれるので、助かりました。

足が笑ってきたくらいに、到着する滝上からの景色は本当に素晴らしい！！

そして、そこで食べる、手作り八重山蕎麦、絶品！(西表島と石垣で食べた八重山蕎麦の中で一番美味しかった！)(あとシーサーのかまぼこ可愛い癒し)これだけでもおススメできますが、

そのあと、また険しい道を乗り越えて乗り越えて、辿り着く、滝壺で泳ぎまくるのが快感すぎました。
個人的には滝上からより、滝壺からの景色が素晴らしすぎたので、トレッキングが不安な方は滝壺だけでも充分に楽しめるかと思います。


カヌーは思ったより難しくなくて、ゆったりした気持ちで漕げました。(翌日腕の筋肉痛等もなし笑)
マングローブの中を悠々自適に進むのが、あんな気持ち良いとは思いませんでした！


9:00-16:00と、かなり長時間のツアーなので、疲労は多少ありますが、西表島の魅力が詰まったツアーだったと思います。
迷っている方がいたら、是非おすすめしたいです。

一つだけ、懸念点をお伝えすると、
雨天決行とのことですが、雨だとかなりトレッキングは難しそうだなーと感じました。
(普段、トレッキング経験がない素人の意見ですので、慣れている方は問題ないと思います)
結構な、岩とか、どこ掴めばいいの！？みたいな場所もあったので、、天気によって無理はしない方が良いかとも思います。


施設は、トイレもシャワーも新しくきれいでした！
貴重品を預けられる鍵付き小物ロッカーもあるので、大変安心です。

As a repeat visitor, I participated this time with seven friends. Since we joined on the last Sunday, it was not crowded, and we were smoothly guided without any waiting time for parking or lines. The guide was very polite and the photos were fantastic. I would like to use this service again!

リピーターで今回は友達と7人で参加しました。日曜日の最終で参加したので空いていて駐車場や待機列の待ち時間もなくスムーズに案内してもらえました。ガイドのお兄さんも丁寧に案内してくれたし写真も最高でした。また使いたいと思います！

I did this snorkeling right after I arrived in Iriomote. At first, the weather was a little bit cloudy, but when we were near Barasu, the weather got better. I swam with a sea turtle, hearing the beautiful sound of coral islands; it was such a great experience. That day I did this in the morning, and Barasu was not so big, actually barely visible (still beautiful and wonderful). If I go to Iriomote again, I will try this Barasu snorkeling at noon.

I did this snorkeling right after I arrived to Iriomote. At first the weather was a little bit cloudy but when we were near バラス weather got better. Swam with sea turtle, hearing the beautiful sound of coral island, it was such a great experience. That day I did this, it was morning time and バラス was not so big, actually barely visible (still beautiful and wonderful). If I go to Iriomote again, I will try this バラス snorkeling in the noon.

ほとんど曇りで雨の日でしたが、ジャングルとその天気はとても良い組み合わせだと思います。マングローブ川でのカヤックはとても楽しくてリラックスできましたし、滝も素晴らしかったですし、洞窟は雨の中の冒険のようでした。とても楽しい体験をしました。強くお勧めします！

It was mostly cloudy and rainy day, but I think the jungle and that weather are quite a good match. Kayaking on the mangrove river was so fun and calming, the waterfall was great, and the cave was like an adventure in the rain. Such fun experience I had. Highly recommended!
